Next Morning, Aashi is first one to wake up, she turned her head and smiled looking at Suchitra's sleeping figure. Cautiously, she got down the bed and tiptoed towards the door. Aashi quickly took a bath and dressed for work, Peach noodle strapped top and white jeans. She placed her white coat and laptop bag on the couch, clipped her hair and walked into the kitchen.

'Good morning.' Aashi smiled as Suchitra entered the living room. From the open kitchen, she spotted her friend coming into the living room. Suchitra is startled on hearing her voice, but on looking at her she smiled. She looked exhausted, though.

'Go get ready for work, Suchitra, I am almost done with breakfast.' Aashi said. Suchitra groaned dropping on the sofa, her holidays are over and now back to work. Aashi shook her head smiling as her friend cursed the office hours.

After Suchitra came out from the room dressed for work, Aashi plated breakfast for both. Spanish Omelet and toasts. Suchitra looked impressed. Aashi flashed a bright smile. Then she poured orange first into Suchitra's glass and then hers.

'All the best for work.' Aashi said picking up her fork.

'Thanks. Yum, this Omelet is fab...and yeah, all the best for finding your new manager.' Suchitra said. Aashi froze mid-way, her fork in the air. She remembered that HR process will start today, she wondered if she will see Rishabh today.

'Hey.' Aashi smiled as she sat in Himanshu's car, beside him.

'Hey.' Himanshu smiled back. He watched her place her laptop bag in the back seat. She turned and adjusted her coat. When she looked at him and he quickly looked away.

'Let us go.' Aashi said and he nodded.

Their car ride was a silent one, Aashi felt the awkwardness between them. She wished Himanshu had never proposed her, that image, his words for some reason disturbs her. At the traffic light, he broke the silence.

'So, Candidates shortlisted?' He asked.

Aashi looked up from her nails and at him, she nodded. Himanshu nodded thoughtfully.

'How is your work?' Aashi asked shifting in her seat.

'Good.' Himanshu said looking front. Aashi smiled little and looked down at her nails again. She began fidgeting with her nails.

'I hope you find a better Manager than Abhishek.' Himanshu said. Aashi looked up at him again, he smiled. She smiled back.

John entered the cabin when Aashi asked him, she asked him if the process has started. He nodded affirmatively.

'Yes, few of the selected Candidates have come for the Interview.' He informed confidently. Aashi nodded, in her heart, she hoped Rishabh has come.

'I want every detail of the interview, okay?'

John nodded, he then left confidently. Aashi relaxed in her chair and stared at the wall, she thought of Rishabh for a while before getting back to work on her laptop.

At lunchtime, Himanshu came to her cabin but Aashi refused. She glanced helplessly at her laptop.

'Too much work?' He raised his eyebrow.

'I will grab some sandwich from the Cafeteria, later.' She said and got back to her laptop. Himanshu nodded disappointedly and then left. Aashi looked up as the door closed behind him.

Fifteen minutes later, Aashi felt her stomach rumble with hunger and so she decided to have something light and get back to work. She arranged the papers, she had been working on and neatly placed it. She rose from her seat and walked towards the Cafeteria.

Since the lunchtime is nearly over there is hardly anyone in here. Aashi placed her palm over her rumbling stomach and sighed, Cafeteria food is never delicious but then, desperate times call for desperate measures.

There is one man wearing a black suit standing at the counter, he is waiting for his order. Aashi frowned as for some strange reason, the person's back looked slightly familiar. She shook her head, she is very hungry, she is imagining things. She stood next to the person and ordered a sandwich, a young boy behind the counter nodded and left to get the order. As Aashi stood beside the man, she sniffed his strong cologne and felt a strange tingly feeling in the pit of her stomach. Aashi frowned, she is hungrier than she thought she was. The man got his order, as he took the tray he accidentally hit Aashi.

'Sorry.' His baritone made Aashi skip a beat. She turned her head to say, it is okay, but froze when her eyes met a familiar, very familiar, set of dark eyes.

I know- Aashi thought with a smile looking at Rishabh's file.

Soon, the door opened and Rishabh entered. As his gaze met Aashi's she felt mixed emotions, her heart dropped also it skipped a beat. She clenched the armrest tightly as he walked in, a forced smile on his lips.
