Riley's PoV:

I have been home for two days and everything is going great. My mom made my favorite dishes and I couldn't be more happier.

My dad is a lawyer and my mom is a part time chef.

"Alex, Riley, dinner' s ready" my mom shouted from the kitchen.

My brother and I were indulged in an intense video game.

"You are a sore loser, Riles" My brother commented laughing

"Such a meanie, Lex" I replied him laughing.

"Kids!" Second warning from our mother

" Kids, I made your favorite pasta. Dig in" our mom told smiling.

"Hey kiddos" My dad walked in the kitchen. He went over by the counter kissed mom on the cheek and joined us.

"Awwww! Your parents are goals" someone said. We turned to see the owner of the voice. It was Allie and Marco. My parents don't really mind them being here. They have practically become family.

"Oh my bad. I forgot to mention. I invited them" My mom said sheepishly

"That's okay. They are like our own" My dad replied.

So everyone was eating in comfortable silence until Allie had to open her big mouth

"So Riles how are things going between you and Andrew" she asked casually.

I literally choked on my food.

"Who is Andrew,Allie?"

"Andrew? Seems familiar"

"Are you in love?"

"Honey, why didn't you tell you have a boyfriend?"

"OH MY GOD. Everyone stop" I shouted.

"Okay, tell us who he is?" Alex asked in a "spill the beans right now" way

"Allie, thank you very much you peasant! " I said

"Anytime girly" she replied smirking.

"Fine, he is a YouTuber. His name is Andrew Davila. I commented on his post about stealing his dog and boom then he DM'd me. Then we became good friends. I just give his number two days. Infact I haven't spoken to him ever since I came here. And we may meet up soon. And NO! For the LOVE OF GOD. HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND! WE ARE JUST FRIENDS". I said finally talking a breathing.

"Oh wait so that is why you were all smiley in the car." My brother asked me acquising

I didn't blush but my face became red.

"Youtubers, I see" My dad said suspiciously.

"Honey, you are good to date any one you want as long as he makes you happy" My mom said.

I bursted out laughing.

"Riley, that is what everyone says before they date." Marco said looking at Allie.

"What that we are friends?" I confirmed.

"Yeah, remember I was in the same boat" he said now looking at Allie with pure love.

"Awwww, Marco is whipped" Alex told Chuckling.

"Shut up, Alex" Marco said blushing.

"Mom, dad, you can go to sleep. Alex and I will do the dishes. Food was delicious mom" I said and kissed her cheek.

"Good night, my beautiful babies" my dad said to all four of us and went upstairs.

"Did you even check your phone, Riles?" Allie asked me.

"No Allie, I haven't. cause of that stupid photo you people decided to post it" I replied her with a frown

"Oh come one that was a good one. Admit it" she said remembering the photo.

"I tagged you in a story, Riles. But you didn't see it anyway" Allie said sounding upset.

"Haha, Allie and her instagram stories. Marco change your name to Stories. Sounds like a better pair right?" I asked Marco laughing.

"Haha Riles that is a good one. Maybe I should do it". Marco replied hi-fi'ng me

"Ok before you gang up on me. We are going to go" Allie replied.

"Haha sure sure" I replied hugging her.

"You break her heart I am going to kill you with my bare hands, alright? " I told Marco on their way out.

"Cross my heart, till I die" Marco said.

"You threats are scaring me R." Marco said trying to be scared.

"Whatever. Good night love birds. Remember my room is right across yours. So please keep it down, will you?"I told them winking.

"Riley shut up. Good night!" Allie said pulling Marco out of the door.

"We will try to keep th sound to minimal. Good night to you Riley. And Please use ear plugs" Marco was practically shouting.

Allie stood there looking at us with beet red face and shaking her head.

I closed the door. You imagined where my brother is right. He apparently had a "bathroom emergency". That idiot didn't even do the dishes. How dare.!

So I went to my room and checked messages finally.

Unknown number: two days ago.

Hey! This is Andrew.

Me: Drew!!!!

Reply was almost immediate.

Andrew: It's about time.

Me: *smiling sheepishly* I didn't check my phone. 😏

Andrew: For two days?

Me: yes.

Andrew: Sure.

Me:Well my brother embarassed me in my family WhatsApp group by posting a funny picture of me sleeping. Worst part Allie was in this too. So many messages laughing at my embarassment so had to turn off my phone.hahha.

Andrew: funny picture ? Now I need those pictures. Lmao.

Me: 😏😏😏😏😒😒😒😒 not you too Drew. !

Andrew: hahhhhahahahahha. So can we meet tomorrow?

Me: Well let me think.

Andrew: ...😏😏😏😏😏😒😒😒😒😒😒come on.

Me: Drama queen. Yes we can meet. Beach?

Andrew: sounds good and grab food later?.

Andrew: hahhahahahah. Do you want it to be a date?

Well this made me smile and I felt a tad bit of butterflies in my stomach and I don't know why

Me: babe? Hahahaha. Poor Drew.

Andrew: Ouch. whatever. Say tomorrow 5 PM?

Me: Yes 5 PM sounds good. Good night 😴💤 Drew.

Andrew: Gn RED. Can't wait to meet you tomorrow.
