《Silver》37

Rhys POV
Walking away from the small compound Silver is in I quickly make my way towards the store that is about a mile or so from where I live. A long walk, yes. But I was heading there anyway because I needed to get my sister, Jasmine a birthday present. She turns ten tomorrow and it will be the last time I get to see her for a while.
Boss thought it would be funny if he let me have my last moments with Jasmine while I was working for him. So while I guard Silver, making sure nobody goes in or out of her room, my sister is going to be in my rundown apartment by herself. I'm not going to spend much time with her before the Boss takes her with him on a business trip somewhere.
While I was thinking about my sister I had entered the store and made a beeline for the books. Jasmine loves reading. Doesn't matter what the genre is. If it has words and was published as a book, she'll read it. Scanning the book selections they have I pick out a book that has a female protagonist who fights her way through the book to save herself and her family.
Grabbing the book I went towards the pharmacy area of the store where all the health supplies were. Walking around for a little bit I finally found the pregnancy tests. Holy Moly! Why are there so many different kinds? Don't they all do the same thing?
I must have looked as lost as I felt. Because an older woman approached on my shoulder to gain my attention from where I was staring at the boxes of tests in confusion.
"Get this one." The woman said, handing me a pregnancy test that I had been looking at. "It's never told me or my daughters wrong."

Quickly thanking the women I rush towards the cashier with my head down. Ignoring the disappointed glances from the cashier I paid for the book and test and made my way back to my house.
"Rhys!" my little Jasmine, exclaimed as she ran up to me when I walked through the door of my house.
"Hey Sis." I smiled down at her tiny form with a loving smile.
"What is in the bag?" she peered at it curiously.
"Your birthday present." I smirked as she squealed in excitement.
"Can I have it?" She asked, looking at me with puppy eyes.
"Sure."
Watching her look at the book I got her was probably the highlight of my year. The excitement and gratitude she showed when she looked at the book I had bought her lightened up my dim life. I was so relieved that she liked the book I had gotten her. It meant a lot. I wasn't around her as often as I used to be so I didn't know exactly what she liked anymore.
Silver's POV
Rhys had come back around dinner time like he normally did. But when he served me today's dinner dish he also slipped me the pregnancy test box. Now I'm in the small bathroom waiting for the results.
Looking at the box I smile slightly. It was the same test that I used to find out about Aiddan.
*FLASHBACK*
"Silver! I got the pregnancy test!" Ashton exclaimed as he ran through the front door breathing heavily.
Smiling, I ask, "What's the rush?"
Ever since I had told Ashton that I hadn't got my period this month he had been bouncing off the walls with excitement. I mean you would think that I'd be the one with raging emotions but instead it's my twin brother.

"I want a niece or nephew!" He yelled, grinning from ear to ear. "Now get into that bathroom and take that test."
"Fine, fine, fine." I sighed but couldn't contain the small smile that appeared on my face at his antics.
After I did my business I sat on the closed toilet lid waiting for the results. Staring at the small white stick as time passes by. Slowly two small, pink lines appeared in the window of the stick.
"I'm-"
*END OF FLASHBACK*
"Pregnant." I breathed out.

Dungeon Instinct
The multiverse is a big place, and it is also constantly in flux. As such sometimes mistakes occur, impossibilities that should have never come into existence. An aspect of corruption born naturally of a mortal and a divine, a Void that is a singularity instead of a duality, a being that came to be before existence ever was, a forgotten that is not damned, the possibilities are infinite and limitless, and thus so are the possible mistakes in this grand multiverse. But are not mistakes more entertaining to watch? For Kelic the Blightborn, life was suffering. Born of a holy Templar dedicated to serving the Forgotten Guardian and a powerful abyssal demon queen that raped said Templar, Kelic’s first sight and sensation in Quellios and its realms was being baptized in the life-blood of his dying father. Tortured in the 1425th level of the abyss for ten years, Kelic was only set free of this constant nightmare of an existence by the unintended results of the Ascendant Angel’s rise to true divinity. His freedom from the abyss was not the paradise that the young Kelic thought however, as he was branded a BlightBorn, or a child of tragedy that brings only misfortune, by the people of Quellios. Abused by all he ever knew or met the boy found solace in only in the things of beauty and the act of reading, a skill he taught himself. His latent ability to comprehend and remember all of what he read and the sheer speed of his reading gained the attention of a prominent figure of Evrette Academy Island. Taken in by the famous mage Fredrick Dunhousen, Kelic lived in peace for the first time in his young life… that is until he was killed. Soten (Book I in The Saga of Mira the Godless)
Anyone on the Isle will say Lady Mira caused the Twenty Years' War. While they're at it, they'll call her a witch, a whore, or a heathen, maybe all three in the same breath. Soten is Mira's version of the story. Captive in a Northern village, Mira expects brutality from the rough climate and harsh Northerners. Instead, she discovers a land where people speak their thoughts out loud, where women are free to be with any they desire, and those who divine messages from the gods are listened to, not burnt at the stake. Mira's idyllic new life is threatened when she hears of her brother's growing army to the south; she doesn't need rescuing; she's far too attached to the life she's building (and the lighthearted raider who is quickly becoming a central part of it). Then she meets Arik, the enigmatic Norsern king, a man who has drastic plans for next season's raids, plans that involve the sister of a great southern commander. To Mira, this is a story about love. To the rest of the world, it is a story about war. Book II: KAKEN coming soon!

Urban Divinity
He slowly backs up until his back is against the wall like my own, "You're..my neighbor?" He points to my door and I nod my head quickly. He hums softly, "You been here a while?" He asks and I nod my head once again. He chuckles, "Ya head hurt?" I nod again but stop as he laughs softly, "I-I mean.. no.. it doesn't." My cheeks burn red as I look at my shoes, "I-It doesn't hurt.." I repeat like a dummy and listen to him clear his throat, "So do you actually live there or was it bull?" He nods to my door and I play with my fingers, "Yeah.. I do.." I feel his eyes watch me and I quickly stop. "You live with your boyfriend or do you like sweatshirts that reach your knees?" He teased, making a giggle slip past my lips. I look away to the floor again, "I-I like big shirts... a lot." I mumble softly and he nods his head, "Hol' up." He puts his box down before walking over to one of the grey bins. I nosily watch as he pulls out a big grey sweatshirt, "Here." He holds it out for me to take and I stare at him with wide eyes, "F-For me?" I hesitantly grab the soft fabric as he chuckles, "Nah for ya mom." I puff my cheeks a little and give him a small glare, "Hush." He leans back against the wall and shakes his head, "It's cold out. You should put it on." ____________________________She was a shy girl from the city with no spine and a list of problems so long that it could touch the floor and roll off her shoes.
