Ethan's POV
A week.
It's been an entire week that Silver has been missing.
After the first few days when our personal investigation was still hectic I left Aiddan with my mother. The first day after we couldn't come up with a lead we had contacted the police but they just laughed us off saying she probably wanted a break away and was in some hotel. But after three or four days and my constant pestering they finally sent some detectives to talk with me about this. Long story short, they are also now on the case. Not legally though. Because the police department won't take the case because they think I'm lying about what happened.
But Detective Somerset and Conan took pity upon me and believed what I said. They said they would help in any way they could. But when we found the kidnapper, we had to call them so that they could make a legal arrest.
We agreed but we told them that we weren't going to promise them that they would leave with them unharmed.
I had picked Aiddan up last night and ever since he woke up he's been by my side non-stop. It was comforting to know that he at least wouldn't get hurt. Both of us miss Silver terribly badly. This whole week I have barely gotten any sleep and Aiddan doesn't understand isn't home yet.
He's a smart boy but sometimes he needs to be shielded from some of the terrifying facts in life.
"Hey Ethan." Marco yelled from another room in his house. We had been staying here while the investigation was in progress because he has all the equipment we need.
"Yeah?" I yelled back looking up from the sight of a sleeping Aiddan.
"Come here for a second. I have to tell you a few things." Marco yelled calmly as I gently set Aiddan down.

Walking into the dining room where Marco was sitting in front of a computer I stopped in front of him. "What's up?"
"Giusto emailed me some pictures of the car that took Silver." Marco gravely stated looking at me.
"Isn't that good?" I exclaimed, getting excited that I'll be seeing my Silver soon.
"Yes and no." He started turning his full attention onto me. "Yes, because at least we know the general area of where she could be. No, because the license plate is from a stolen vehicle in Colorado."
"Can't we narrow the area down? I mean this is New York! There's security cameras everywhere!" I claim, desperately trying to grasp onto some piece of hope that we would be able to find her and bring her back home.
"Possibly. Giusto is already looking into that. He will get back to us as soon as possible." Marco replied, glancing back at the computer then over at a sleeping Ashton, who was in an awkward position in the chair across from him.
"Is there anything going on between you two?" I demanded grinning as I saw Marco blush slightly.
"Nope." he stated turning his gaze from Ashton back to the computer. "Not a thing."
"That's too bad." I say before making my way back to Aiddan leaving a confused Marco by himself.
Silver's POV
Disgustedly I looked at the food that was on the tray in front of me. "Really, Rhys? This is the best food they can give me?"
"Uh, I guess?" He questioned, obviously oblivious to what was beside this building.
Rhys and I had gotten to during the time I have been stuck here. He's a really sweet kid. And from what little he has told me he hadn't wanted to do anything illegal like guarding a kidnapped woman but he was being forced to by someone who had his sister.

I felt so bad for him. I am only a fifteen year old and he has no parents to take care of him or his sister. He hasn't told me much about his sister other than she's younger than him. Although it's only been a week I've kind of grown attached to him.
Taco.
I really want a taco. I thought to myself internally groaning at the food in front of me.
Sighing in resignation I take a spoonful of the goop that was my food. Bringing it to my mouth I start to eat it. But almost immediately I ran to the side of the room where a bucket had been placed and threw up.
I haven't been this sick in a long time. The last time I was this bad was when...
I was pregnant. With Aiddan.
Shit. I can't possibly be pregnant can I? I mean, it was only one time?
But then again Aiddan was only one time too.
"Uh, Rhys?" I whisper as I wiped my mouth with the rag that he had given me the first day I was here.
"Yes?" he replied, sounding uncomfortable as he had turned away to give me privacy when I threw up.
"When does your shift end?" I questioned slowly as he turned around in confusion.
"In about ten minutes. Why?" he asked curiously as he walked towards me to help me up from the floor.
"Because I need you to do something for me." Before he could protest I continued. "It's nothing bad. I just need you to buy me something."
"Oh, okay. Well what do you need me to buy?" he sighed with relief visibly on his face.
"A...pregnancy test?" I state, unsure of how he would react.
He paled slightly before backing out of the room. Just about when he closed the door he replied, "Yes. I will."
Oh thank the lord. I sigh to myself.
I hope Aiddan and Ethan are doing fine and aren't too worried about me.
Worrying isn't healthy. I don't want them to get sick or hurt.
With that thought I lay in the bed provided for me and do the only thing I could while in this confinement. Sleep.
