Rhys's POV

Why was that woman so calm? She is in what is basically a cell after being kidnapped. How come she isn't freaking out? I don't understand. I also don't understand why she was so nice to me.

She asked me what my name was and never once said a rude comment to me. Although I've only seen her once and only for a few minutes she was acting so nice and calm. Silver. Her name suited her. She was stunning to look at. But she was also really sweet so far.

That could all change though. I thought bitterly. Just like my mother did.

"Rhys?" her voice whispered through the door as I was deep in thought.

"Yes, Silver?" I asked curiously because of the desperation I heard in her voice.

"I don't feel so good." She replied before I heard her start retching somewhere within the room.

Opening the door I quickly made my way to where she was throwing up. Pulling back her hair I gently rub her back. I usually do this for my little sister when she's sick so I thought maybe it would work for her too.

After she was done I handed her a rag I normally kept in my pocket just in case I needed to clean something small up. Looking at her worriedly I ask, "Are you okay?"

"I'm not sure. I don't know why I'm sick." She said, wiping her mouth with the rag I gave her. "Maybe it's stress."

"Do you think you'll be okay?" I asked her not knowing what to do.

I am supposed to be keeping her safe. What happens if she falls ill and it turns out to be something serious? It's going to be taken out on my little sister. I can't have that. The only reason I'm doing this is because that bastard took her and threatened to harm her if I didn't do whatever he said.

"I think so." She sighed, going to lay down on the bed that had been provided for her.

"Okay. Well, I'm going to leave you to rest. If you don't wake before my shift ends I'll see you tomorrow." I stated slowly becoming excited. After this I get to see my sister!

"Mkay. Bye." She mumbled before falling asleep.

Shortly after leaving her room my shift ended and another man came to take my spot. He wasn't a very nice man. I hope nothing bad happens to Silver because of him. I would feel really guilty.

Ethan's POV

"Do you have any idea who might have wanted to kidnap your sister?" Marco asked a distraught Ashton.

We were sitting in Marco's living room trying to figure out anything we can on the kidnapper. But we had absolutely nothing so far other than the initials G.V.

"Not that I can think of." He shook his head while anger slowly flitted across his features.

"Nobody from your childhood, school days, family? Anyone? Maybe an ex-lover of her's" He questioned with a steady voice.

At the mention of an ex-lover I started to get jealous. I didn't want to share her with anybody. Not with an ex-lover and certainly not with some creep who kidnapped her. She was mine goddammit!

"Anyone that's been in your or her life that has the initials G.V? I doubt the kidnapper would put his initials in a letter if he didn't think it might trigger her to remember who he was." Marco explained his train off though as we both watched Ashton closely to see if he had a reaction to any of what Marco was saying.

"No. No one." Ashton replied looking down in sadness. "I'm sorry I couldn't be of better use to you guys."

"It's fine." Marco and I said at the same time. Chuckling slightly as we looked at each other in shock.

"It just means that your sister has a stalker that has never fully met her." Marco consoled Ashton, rubbing his shoulder in sympathy. "He might have just been someone who passed by her on the street and took a keen interest in her life."

"No, it's not fine!" Ashton yelled glaring at us as tears slowly ran down his face. "She's my sister. It's my job to protect her! And she's god knows where with some deranged man doing god knows what to her. She could be in pain. She was hurt or sick. Or even worse. I didn't do my job as a brother. Cause if I did she wouldn't have been kidnapped. She would still be at home, playing with Aiddan and teasing me about the stupidest things."

"We can't think about who is to blame. All we can do is try to find her." Marco said glaring down at Ashton in annoyance. "Now I've contacted Giusto and he is going through the traffic tapes of the area. If he finds something he will contact us."

"And if he doesn't find anything?" I suddenly asked ten times as scared as I had been.

"He will still contact us." Marco grimaced realizing nothing he said was making anyone feel better.
