Silver's POV
"Is this Silver McMalorey? Sister to Ashton McMalorey?" A deep voice asked tentatively.
"Yes?" I replied frowning as I looked up to see Ethan washing the syrup of Aiddan.
"Your brother was involved in a car accident. If you would come down to the hospital to sign a few papers we would appreciate that." The voice stated calmly, void of all emotion.
My heart stopped for a few seconds. Choking, I say, "I'm sorry. Did you say car accident?"
"Yes Ma'am. It would appear that your brother was involved in a hit and run. The police are investigating it right now. But we need you here at the hospital to file some insurance papers for Ashton so he can get the proper medical attention."
"I'll be there as soon as I can. Which hospital is he in?" I demand frantically as tears start to pool in my eyes.
"St. Jose." With that all I heard was the dial tone.
"Ethan, can you watch Aiddan? I need to go sign insurance papers for Ashton." I grit out trying not to let my tears fall.
"What happened?" He inquired looking at us weirdly as he held Aiddan against his side.
"He," I started, then looked towards my little boy. Walking over to them I gently cover his ears. "Ashton was in a car accident."
"Shit." Ethan cursed as he looked at me in sympathy. "I'll watch our son. You go and do whatever you need to."
"Thank you." I kiss his cheek and look down at Aiddan. "Mommy is going to be gone for a little bit okay? Be good for Daddy please."
"Okay Mommy." He laughed, giving me a hug goodbye.
I walked outside to my car and got in. It took me a few moments to compose myself so that I could see clearly. Taking deep breaths I start to pull out of the driveway. Making my way onto the interstate I drove to St. Jose's hospital.

How could someone want to hurt Ashton? He's always nice to people. Unless they hurt his family. But that's still no reason to want to possibly kill him.
Using my GPS to find the hospital I finally drove up to a big building. This doesn't look like a hospital. Or at least one that is up and running.
Marco's POV (Previous Night)
As I waited for the vehicle to make an impact I looked up. Huh. It was gone.
"Wh-what are you doing?" Ashton asked, pushing against my chest which was pressed against his side.
"Oh, sorry." I look down smirking at him before becoming serious. "There was a car that almost crashed into us."
"Really?" He blanched looking sick before his expression became one of anger. "Someone tried to hurt us?"
"Maybe not us per say." I chuckle at his angry tone.
He looked so cute while angry. His forehead was crinkled in frustration as his eyes blazed with his fury.
"What do you mean?" he demanded, turning his attention to my face.
"I mean if it was planned out, it would be me not us." I stated simply shrugging my shoulders. "It is my car they almost hit"
"Oh." he whispered before glaring at me. "And that makes it any better?"

8 178World of Telduria
The world of Telduria is filled with dangers and opportunities. The world is made up of numerous factions, kingdoms and alliances. The different nations make up half of the council while the guilds make up the second half. The balance in the world is on a life's edge. A powder keg waiting to blow, but no one dares to make the first move. After the formation of the adventures guild and the mercenary guild most nations dissolved their militarises and instead the army is more of a policing force than an offensive one while the guilds hunt down dangerous creatures and monsters that appears in the world. The nations have changed their ways from war to one of assassination, espionage, economics and diplomacy. World leaders don't tend to survive very long if they don't have guards with them at all times. While officially there is no assassin's guild or thieves guild they do sure exist and are thriving like never before in the current political climate. That and the other guilds don't stop them since they also hire their services from time to time. The various temples and religions have no official power part from some nations which are based around a belief. In actuality though they have considerable powers since they control the masses just as well as the rulers themselves. Get on their bad side and you might just find an assassin coming for you. A young woman gets thrown into this grimdark world from our own. Will she survive the curveball that gets thrown in her face as she changes into something else? Map created by Maximeplasse This fiction is based on my play-per-post RP that I've run before but with my own take on summoned characters and dungeon settings. At certain points I'll also allow reader decisions if the story gets popular enough. xD It's unrelated to the D&D Theron setting; Telduria I just liked the name and the map when I started up the RP back in the day.

8 191Majority Rule
Readers choose from a selection of options for participants of a survival game show known as "Can Anyone Beat Level 10?". Each level has some monsters to kill and a boss at the end. Treasure chests and traps are available. Treasure chests, if opened successfully, give decent weapons, first aid kits, etc. If unsuccessful, treasure chests will either explode, taking some health from player or do become permanently closed. Monsters in dungeon levels depend on the theme of the week. This game show occurs on the first week of every month. The game just showed up out of nowhere and many people were interested in it as they attended the live version of the show. As for its mysteries...well, who knows? Maybe someone will solve them some day. But, for now, let the games begin! This is a story that depends on the votes of the viewers using the poll system. I will probably wait a week or so per poll in order to accumulate enough votes. After the week is up, viewers can still vote but it won't affect the story. This is my first interactive fiction so it might not be on par with the better ones. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoyed reading this story. Thanks.
