Marco's POV

This kid was so adorable. I thought to myself as I watched his face gradually turn red.

I mean, I guess he's not technically a kid. Hell. He was my age. But he was so tiny compared to me. But it was cute.

After he mumbled a thank you I had pulled away from the cafe where we had just had a meeting. Previously I had noticed that his tires had been demolished before I had even entered the little coffeehouse.

And yes I knew which car was his. I did my research.

It's not as creepy as it sounds. I was just being extra cautious. Being as I was in the business of protecting people you could never do enough research. Especially on strangers. And when I got a call from this man named Ashton claiming that Ethan Winthrope had sent him to talk to me about a few important things I just had to know some beforehand knowledge about this Ashton character. And low and behold, he was nothing like what I had thought he would be.

My mini, and very illegal, background check on him had explained that he was a twin at the age of twenty-one (almost twenty-two). I learned that he went to college at the University of Pennsylvania and majored in Business. The only things that my background check told me, and prepared me for, was the basics. The black and white stuff about him. It didn't prepare me for how adorable and shy he came off. On the phone he seemed so confident but in person...in person he was something completely different. He was an attractive man. Although I had seen a picture of him in the research I did, it was not exactly up-to-date. I would say it had to have been about two years old at least.

Turning down the road towards his neighborhood I look over to see him staring at me with wide eyes.

"Ho-how do you know where I live?" he stuttered out, shrinking into the passenger side door.

"I did a little bit of research on you." I mentally cringe at how that sounded out loud. "For safety reasons."

Before he could reply I saw a truck hurtling towards my side of the vehicle. Throwing myself in front of Ashton I brace for the impact.

Silver's POV

I woke up to find Aiddan sitting beside me. Looking up I see that he is talking to somebody behind me. Groggily I turn around to see Ethan staring at me with wide loving eyes.

What's going on? I thought to myself as I looked between father and son.

"Good morning mommy!" Aiddan yelled, wrapping his arms around my neck as he threw himself at me, giving me a hug.

"Good morning baby." I whisper in his ear as I pull him into me.

"Are you hungry?" Ethan asked as he pulled a shirt over his toned muscles.

As I watched his muscles flex I nod numbly. God could he be any more perfect?

"Good. Because Aiddan and I made breakfast while you were asleep." Ethan turned around to look at us and smiled. "Isn't that right, little man?"

"Yes," Aiddan replied, bouncing up and down on the bed before he jumped off and ran from the room.

Of course he could be more perfect!

Getting up and walking to the door I stop, grabbing Ethan's arm. "What were you and Aiddan talking about before I woke up?" I demanded looking up into his eyes.

"Just about whether or not we should have woken you up to eat." He stated smiling cheekily before gently kissing me.

"I don't believe you. But okay." I stated then turned around and practically ran to the kitchen where I smelled bacon and blueberry pancakes.

I didn't believe Ethan because I know Aiddan. Aiddan wouldn't need to have a discussion whether to wake me up or not. He would just do it. Being as he loved to be the first one up most morning even when he has gone to bed later than normal. I don't know why. It was just like his internal clock wanted him to wake up at the same time every day.

Grabbing a plate I put some food on it and cut it into tiny bits and pieces before setting it in front of Aiddan. Before I could make another plate Ethan grabbed it from me. Gesturing towards the table.

"Go. Sit. I'll make yours and my plate."

"Fine." I pouted before yawning and doing as told.

After he set the plate in front of me and he sat down. I devoured the food. Moaning in satisfaction I licked the syrup from my fork. It tasted so good! Looking over I see Ethan staring at me in a mix of amusement and lust. Grinning, I continue eating what is left of my food. As I went to put my dishes away my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Is this Silver McMalorey? Sister to Ashton McMalorey?" a deep voice asked tentatively.
