Knowing that Rio had kept such a vital part of her life a secret from Carson caused him an indescribable amount of hurt and pain.
He had trusted her with nearly everything that goes on his life, yet she couldn't return the favour. However, it made Carson think about how terrifying her life must have been before she went to live in Brazil, in fact it all intrigued him.
"Rio I asked you a fucking question!" Carson seethed, his tight hold on Cassius grew immensely, making Cassius claw at his hands wanting to release the unbearable pressure.
"Now, now no need to be so snappy is there?" Cassius taunted. "If you'd be so kind as to let me go, I'd be more than happy to inform you on little Esposito's life story."
With that Carson's hold on the traitor before him ceased, dropping Cassius in a heap on the floor-Cassius held a hand to his throat rubbing the sore area softly.
"Well, well kids grab some popcorn and sit tight, because shits about to hit the fan." He joked as he took a seat in a chair that surprisingly didn't shatter from the explosion.
"As you know full well pretty boy, Rio is the Italian mafia princess and has been since the day she was conceived.
When the Princess over there made her victorious debut fifteen years ago, the family was overjoyed that they finally had a little girl, a princess within their mafia. However, it didn't go quite as planned did it, Princess?" Cassius smirked, whilst looking in the young teenagers direction.
Rio stood in shell shock-shocked that this man who had been in her family's lives all these years was stood betraying them as if they meant little to nothing.
Shocked that the man who used to read her bedtime stories when her father, mother and brothers where away with work, had decided to go against them carelessly.

She just wanted to cry, scrap that she wanted to breakdown and sob right there. Riri knew that as soon Carson learned the whole truth; there'd be a possibility he would never be able to trust her again. That feeling within her was slowly breaking her to the core.
"Please just stop, I'll do anything just please let me tell him myself!" Rio wailed, her iron walls where slowly crumbling away. The once stone cold princess was finally letting her emotions get to her after many years of living in anger, she was turning into the girl she promised herself to never succumb to.
Carson was stood bewildered, he had never seen his girlfriend so vulnerable and sad in his entire time if knowing her. As much as it broke him to watch her wither into her own sadness, he wanted to know the truth-he needed to know the truth.
"Rio, darling you've had how many years to tell him: so I think it's best that I do the honours." Cassius snorted. "Now, where was we?" He clicked his fingers multiple times.
"Ah, the black list!" He remarked. "So, when Rio was merely three years old-it was announced to all remaining mafia families and backstreet gangs that the little tot had in fact been put onto the list, by who we haven't found out yet."
Rio was full blown sobbing, cries and whimpers of pain left her lips as she stared at Carson who had a blank, emotionless look on his face.
"Please stop! I beseech you!"
"You're done!"

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.

This is the story of a legendary magician, Roma, and how he went from typical high schooler to overpowered sorcerer. From the author: This is my first published work, and frankly this is me playing around with my own fantasies. Bear trap (statehumans CalTex)
(This book has nothing to do with furries, otherkins, or irl therianthropes. Both by their own definitions and my own, we have nothing to do with each other. Keep being your weird selves just don't pretend I'm a part of those groups because I wrote this book with animal/human hybrids in it. Any comments trying to talk about furries or otherkins will be deleted because it makes me physically uncomfortable. Therians are ok tho because it's basically the fancy way to say people who have spirit animals)There are two races in this world, humans and therianthropes, which are humans with animal qualities, that can shapeshift into their animal counterpart. The therianthropes, once divided by predator and prey, joined together in hiding after the humans began to hunt therianthropes for sport. California, a young grizzly bear therianthrope, was always curious to see the world beyond the forest he and his people lived within. Texas, a young farmhand, always wanted to catch a therianthrope, believing it would make him the hero of his village after violent massacres and thefts had been performed on it, supposedly by therianthropes. But when these two young men's paths collide, secrets, strange new feelings, and a magical adventure turns everything they thought they knew about the others race upside down.Warnings:- statehumans- countryhumans - the country and statehumans are all kinda just mixed together. There is no obvious separation between state and country, they're all just people - guns- and ships- hunting - idk, vegans?- gay stuff- not super gory, but people do get hurt - maybe death
