Castiel removed his fingers from the side of Juno's head as she began taking deep breath's. She hunched over, running her hands over her face. She ran her fingers through her hair, trying to comprehend everything she was seeing.
"Juno, this has to stop," Cas told her. She shook her head as she she sat up straight again, leaning back against the chair.
"No, we're not there yet. You have to keep going," she said staring forward.
"If I go any further, you could go brain dead," Cas warned her.
"Then I'd tread carefully," Juno told him. She gripped the chair again, leaning back fully. Castiel hesitated to put his fingers back up, but slowly moved them to her temples. Juno closed her eyes, bracing herself. Castiel finally touched his fingers to her temple, Juno gasping at the sudden pull. Cas could feel it too. This was the one.
Juno slowly followed the man into the temple, looking around as she gripped her arm. The open wound on it was bleeding more than she wanted it to.
"You're the last of a dying breed, Juno. Banshee's that can walk the Earth, tread among us," Richard said looking around the crumbling walls. "One scream and this whole place would collapse."
"I'm not a banshee, those aren't real," Juno said as she watched Richard walk towards an alter in the center of the room.
"Sure," Richard chuckled. "But, if I were you, I'd believe me."
"Why?" Juno asked.
"What you have is a gift, my girl. Not born with, but blessed with. Your parents may not have known, but it happened. You were given these for a purpose, Juno," Richard said. He turned to her, walking towards the girl. "You possess power unimaginable. Sound is your weapon, and it is powerful."
"But not as powerful as, I don't know, God?" Juno asked raising an eyebrow. Richard chuckled as he shook his head.

"No. But unlike those... wolves and zombies you actually stand a chance against the hunters," Richard told her.
"Hunters?" Juno asked.
"Yes, hunters. They hunt the evil creatures. You have that choice, Juno. To be good or evil. But just know, one path will lead you to greatness, and another will lead you to eternal life. You just have to choose which one you want," Richard said. "And here's your test." The doors to the temple swung open, some type of wolves walking into the room. "Those are hell hounds. You have the choice to kill them with your new power, but kill me in the process. Or, you tame them and rule Hell."
"Neither of those sound good," Juno said glancing back at Richard. He chuckled, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"But which one is more logical? These hounds could kill even more people in the future. So, kill them now and me, or be great?" Richard asked. Juno hesitated as the growling got louder. Richard kept pushing her in a one sided direction, Juno having enough of it. A high pitched shrill left her lips as she leaned forward to the dogs. Their ears began bleeding, the four of them falling to the ground dead. The walls around Juno began crumbling, the girls eyes widening. "So, you chose eternal life. Good." Richard pushed Juno out of the temple, the girl watching as it collapsed in on the man.
Juno's eyes opened suddenly, the girl leaning forward as she let out a loud scream. Cas covered his ears in pain as the lights blew out, all the circuits in the room dying and sparking. Juno took a deep breath as she stood from the chair. She turned to Castiel, noticing he was slowly standing from the blast of the scream. The red lights turned on then, Juno's heart beat increasing.
"Juno," Cas said warily, beginning to step around the chair.
"Oh, my god," she said beginning to back up.

"This might be overwhelming," Castiel continued, Juno beginning to shake her head.
"That's a bit of an understatement," she said breathing heavily. She took her gaze to Cas, noticing a bit of blood dripping from his ear. "Your... Your ear." Cas touched a finger to it, but shook his head slowly.
"It's nothing. I'll be okay. But Sam and Dean-"
"Sam and Dean can't know," Juno said, her head snapping to Cas. "They'll think I lied to them. They can't know. Not until they're ready."
"Fine," Cas muttered. "But now... Now what happens?" Juno took a deep breath as she shrugged lightly.
"Go on another hunt?" she suggested.
"Juno, you're in no condition to hunt right now," Castiel said shaking his head. Juno took her gaze to him as she furrowed her eyebrows.
"No condition to hunt? Cas, I have this power now and I don't know what to do with it. So what do you suggest I should do?" Juno asked crossing her arms. He sighed, looking around the room as if something there would help him. He paused, looking back up at her.
"Action movies?"
*****
Juno sat in her bed as she was waiting for Cas to walk back in with the popcorn. Since he was banning her from hunting, they were going to binge watch a lot of action movies. Of course, Juno was expecting Castiel to ask many questions during the session, so she was already brainstorming what he could ask.
"I've got beer, popcorn, and chips. Usually this is what Dean eats when he doesn't leave his room for an entire day," Cas said holding up a case of beer, three bags of chips, and two bags of popcorn.
"Good lord, this isn't the feeding of the five thousand," Juno said grabbing a beer. "Alright, which first. We can start off with one of four options: Iron Man, Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, Mission Impossible, and Die Hard. Take your pick, kind sir."
"Well if the mission is impossible then why are they attempting it?" Cas asked furrowing his eyebrows.
"Mission Impossible it is," Juno said with a smile. She stood from the bed, popping the CD in. She sat back on the bed next to Castiel as the beginning began to play. For the next two hours, Juno was answering all of Cas's questions about the movie. He was overall confused, but seemed to enjoy it. Once it was over, he furrowed his eyebrows.
"I don't understand," Cas said.
"Well, there's four more movies," Juno said looking over at him. "But they always end weird."
"Where did you find the time to watch these movies? You've been gone for ten years," Castiel asked looking over at Juno.
"Uh, Charlie and I kind of had a rough child hood. Our parents died when she was twelve and I was sixteen. We only had each other, so we dropped off the grid," Juno said looking down at her hands. "Charlie got into some pretty serious stuff, even got arrested. I, on the other hand, was just trying to figure out a way to support myself and my sister. Then I found the military training school and... You can guess the rest."
"You and Charlie were on your own?" Cas asked frowning slightly.
"Yeah, but it's fine. We turned out great. She worked for the head Leviathan and I'm a banshee. It's super great," Juno said standing from her bed. "Alright, another movie or are you going to let me go hunt?" Cas sighed, nodding slightly.
"We can hunt. We just need a case," he stated.
"Right," Juno nodded slowly. "I'll jump on it."

GameWorld: Earth's Apocalypse
Be careful what you wish for. The old saying holds true for many people, but none more so than Jaxson Stratford. An avid video game player and reader of post-apocalypse novels, Jax always wished for the chance to attain power and abilities like the heroes of the stories he read about. Then, he received his wish in the form of The System’s arrival. However the truth of reality in this new System dominated world, is something far worse than he could ever imagine. This story is similiar to many others on the site, but the 'System' is something I've thought about for some time. That being said, it is still being fleshed out, so don't expect the story to be amazing, but rather an entertaining read.

The Fall of The Gods
Synopsis: In the year 1966, an army of Orishas led by Sango stormed Amadioha’s palace and razed it the ground, starting a decades-long war between two of Nigeria’s most powerful divine orders. Blinded by the rage of battle, the gods did not detect the rise of a third power, far greater and deadlier than anything they could have imagined. When gods, on both the Yoruba and Igbo sides, begin falling mysteriously to their death, Sango seeks the help of Odion, a Lagos teenager destined to rise from his dark past to become a hero. But can a human hero save the gods from a doomed fate? The Fall of the Gods is an action-packed YA fantasy based on the mythical bond that ties human life with the realm of the divine. It demonstrates the power of stories to change our lives. It also reminds us that Sango and Amadioha are not relics of the past and that, sometimes, what it means to be a hero in today’s world is knowing how to find inspiration in the stories of the gods. PLEASE NOTE: Weekly chapters will be released every friday along with interludes once in a while about Nigerian mythology. I'm a young 17 year old writer and I am new to the site so I will appreciate your comments and reviews. Thank you very much.
