《The Witch's Wolves (GxGxG)》7. Warlock and Demon

I don't fit in.
The Lucky-13 Nightclub is packed. Music and colorful pulsing lights blur, suffocating me in the dim place. I watch from the sideline at the bar as sweaty humans dry hump each other on the dance floor.
A smile creeps on my lips when I really feel like shit inside. I wish I knew how to stop smiling when I'm stressed. Then again, I wish for many things but they never seem to come true.
"You look like shit, Sol." Leviathan says as he exits the crowd. The handsome devil stands there in a platinum suit that screams, Money!
I probably do look like crap, but it's not easy casting a weather spell while standing in the middle of a storm. Now, the day is sunny but I'm still wet, and sadly it's not the sensual wet. I wonder why I didn't go home and change before coming here, then I remember why.
I open my mouth to tell him what I came to him for but, "I guess I'll just have to be five times cuter than you instead of the usual ten. Won't I?"
Hell, what just came out of my mouth? I was ready to lecture myself but a hardy laugh by my side interrupts my thoughts.
"You really are a cute warlock." He leans over and his cold eyes look down at me as they change colors in excitement. I swear my heart must have been on drugs from how fast it's beating, and the smile on my face becomes wider than I would like.
"I need to talk to you in private." I say, wanting to move things along so I can go home already.
"Come," he says, and we move to the back. Where I clean myself and put on some spare clothes stored here. Then, he makes me hot chocolate with his silver tea set in the seat across from me. "Now, what can I do for you little warlock," his deep voice sending shivers down my spine.

"It's Addal's mom," I reply.
At the mention of Mrs. Lovelorn, Leviathan's face becomes slightly less pleasant. He sips his tea before silently urging me to continue.
During the time I was casting a weather spell the redhead ran to me in the storm. I could barely make her out but I knew it was her from her pink robe and horrible rambles.
"Why did she come to you and what did she say?" He passes me the small cup, which I greedily accept.
"Where do I begin?"
"You must save her please," Mrs. Lovelorn screamed.
"Save who?" I asked
"Save my daughter! They're coming! They're coming for us. They're coming for all of us! I must go and hide!" She shoved a paper in my pocket before running further into the storm.
"And that was the last time I saw her."
"I'll have my goons search for her, and the paper?"
"Barely made it through the storm." I pass him the soggy paper that contained smudged words.
"Beware the hunters and wolves when you enter the woods as it mean war will be upon us, as the moon dyes red and the Heaven meets Hell and doom us all." Leviathan reads the writing out.
I can't help but blurt out, "You can actually read it?"
"Well, I can't expect an illiterate dumbass who can't even read straight to actually read this can I?" The demon's sharp tongue really knows how to deal a blow.
"Touché," I respond.
"Come on," he says.
"Where are we going?" I ask, following him out the door.
"To Addal, of course."

Alfheimr Renaissance
This is a story about a somewhat normal human, on a hike on Hardangervidda in Norway, that end up walking out in Alfheimr instead of Earth. Alfheimr is one of the nine realms of the old Norse religion, home of the light elfs. Its quite a culture shock, and he don't really know the language, culture or religion. The decisions he make have consequences, and some will change Alfheimr. He decide that if he's ever going to get back to Midgard he have to travel to a bigger town, try to find information, make money and so on. So he's trying to be smart, and pretends to be a mysterious wandering magician. Should be easy to fake right? ... and thats the first decision with gigantic consequences, since he doesn't know that only women do magic. A man doing magic is automatically unmanly. Oops. Be warned; English isn't the Authors primary language, and its mostly written in first person view. The story progress will be slow.

Against of backdrop of escalating tensions, double-sided revelations of first contact ripple through all involved as the probe attempts the first landing on the ice of Europa. The robotic submarine can reach the ocean floor and returning by an expertly trained AI. Tensions flare between the United States and China, while cyberattack threatens the project. Meanwhile, Dalton, a self-sabotaging synthetic data engineer, longs to make a name for himself in the scientific community, even at the cost of being infamous. Unknown to Earth, alien society has penetrated up the kilometers of ice, and has long researched ‘Nullworld,’ the mysterious ‘ether’ beyond the ice from which no sonar returns. Tensions in their global society have escalated as their city-state fights with a neighbor whose hydrothermal vent has run cold. Now the military caste is in control, halted all research, and pressed capable scientists and engineers into militia service. The alien scientist must escape and bring back research he hopes will diffuse tensions: the revelation of another water world. A Sky of Star and Strength
Jake was just an intelligent kid living a pretty regular life in Mill Creek, Washington. Then the apocalypse happens. Now with his Dad out of the country and totally in yet out his element, this is his story. My take on a system apocalypse based around "life force" as a currency. The main character will have a special power (as will most of the other characters) and be rather OP, you have been warned. Like many of the authors on this site I have no formal writing experience so writing tips and grammar corrections are much appreciated :)

Beast Dao Cultivator
Hundreds of thousands of years ago, the world was at the peak of its era in the pursuit of power and knowledge. People ascended to the heavens and returned, walking amongst mortals. Great Buddhists, Evil Demons, Heavenly Celestials, Unfathomable Sages, Riders of Grand Majestic Beasts, Beloved Beings of Nature. Countless kinds of beings rose and fell. Countless kinds of method to ascend were known but a sudden change in the world changed that. Pandemonium spread throughout the world and countless grand races and even grander sects and organizations fell. The huge surge had come to an end as each race went to one place or another to hide, higher beings ran to the higher realms to hide from the destruction of the lower realm. Countless deaths in all races happened and many are said to have been pushed to extinction. Today, the world has regressed to what can be called a mediocre shadow of what was once a massive power that ruled the world. The races have each slowly crawled out of their holes and slowly spread their numbers once more, rediscovering what was once lost. New sects were born, clans spread, nations rise and war once more appeared. Still the catastrophe had not only drastically changed the world but the energy of nature. Only there was one type of being that could survive and grow in each and every kind. The most mysterious which were all called Riders. My Sweet Bodyguard Randomness
This is where I write extras from "MSB: Mission-Hope for the Best" and where I can interact more since you can request stuff like: Scenarios, dares/questions, and a segment I like to call 'Party Police' where the bodyguards can sing any song. I will also write for myself at times on here so you can enjoy that too. ^_^
