《Red Riding Hood BxM》Chapter 16

It took a few hours but eventually Jack and Kaiden were called back to the room. Rowan was practically glowing with pride, a fierce protectiveness in his eyes as the door opened before the man relaxed.
"Shh. She's asleep." He murmured while motioning towards the crib, a small form lying underneath a pink blanket. Beside the crib, Chris was smiling tiredly, one hand leaning over to grace his daughter's rosy cheek.
Jack smiled, tiptoeing closer before he leaned over to look in the basinet and smiled. The little girl was holding tight on her daddy's finger, a slight frown on her face that quickly relaxed when Chris' thumb brushed over her cheek.
"She's beautiful." Jack murmured softly, glancing over his shoulder when he felt his mate press against him, looking down at the infant as well. "She is." Kaiden nodded. "Congratulations you guys, a baby girl. That's going to be different huh?" He added while gently touching the tuft of dark hair.
Both parents chuckled warmly, quieting down as the little one made a distressed sound and scrunched her nose up. "She's going to be spoiled rotten. Our little princess." Rowan whispered before kissing his mate on the forehead.
Jack was star struck with the little infant and Kaiden loved it! He knew his little mate still had a few doubts but the newborn was washing them all away one by one. As he glanced down, he saw the curiosity and want in Jack's eyes grow more and more and he grinned to himself.
Deciding to give the mated couple their space, Kaiden gently brushed over Jack's arm, making his mate look up at him curiously. "Come on, I think they deserve some time alone." Kaiden whispered conspiringly, motioning with his chin towards Chris as the man's head slowly tilted back and forth with sleepiness, making Rowan chuckle softly.
Jack nodded, fingers intertwining with Kaiden's as the wolf tugged him out of the room and led him through the rest of the surroundings. Occasionally they would stop and greet some of the local wolves, the pups always yipping and arching their invitation to play.
By the time they hit their beds, Jack was exhausted yet smiling happily. His mate cuddled him closer, inhaling deeply before Kaiden rubbed his nose over Jack's throat. Briefly the boy wondered how it would feel like to have life grow in his belly. To wake up to the loud cheering of children greeting him as a father.
A daddy... Jack's heart pinched at the thought of being greeted by his own child, to sooth them of their fears and cheer with their victories. And judging by the warm palm rubbing soothing circles over his stomach, his wolf was thinking the same.

Jack fell asleep under Kaiden's warm and gentle touches, feeling cherished, treasured as his eyes slipped shut. By the time he woke up, their positions had reversed and Jack was just about curled up on top of Kaiden, face buried in the wolf's throat and legs tangled together.
He felt sleepy but not enough to close his eyes again. Just a nice, calm state of mind, a lazy feeling that settled in his bones as he leaned back to look at Kaiden. He didn't move from his mate, not that he could; Kaiden's arms were curled loosely around his hips but would flex with the slightest hint of movement from Jack.
Letting his fingers wander on their own, Jack used the time to think about what he wanted and what the future might hold. He watched as goose bumps raised wherever his fingers went, chasing the digits down.
Jack let out a silent chuckle as Kaiden growled lowly in his sleep, turning into the touch. His fingers got bolder, pressing down a bit firmer while the boy smiled in awe at the fact that he was doing this. He was making Kaiden react to him.
It wasn't until he felt warm flesh poking his thigh that he realized just how much he was affecting Kaiden and blushed. By then the wolf was long awake, keeping his eyes shut and forcing himself not to smirk.
It was exhilarating to be awoken by his mate's gentle touch and he was curious to see how bold Jack could be. How far he would take this...
Already the wolf in Kaiden was panting, mind filled with the continuous chant of matematematemate, nownownow. Jack's scent tickled Kaiden's nostrils, making them flare out as they caught the subtle spice of Jack's arousal in the air.
Within seconds Jack was pinned to the bed, a laughing, giggling mess as Kaiden snarled against his throat. The boy was sent in a fit of giggles that quickly turned into moans and breathy mewls as Kaiden made short work of their clothes.
Limbs tangling, hands caressing and lips latching onto one another, they soon filled the air with soft moans and passionate grunts.
The next few hours was spent with Kaiden bringing Jack over the edge, again and again until they both fell down on the bed, exhausted, sated and happy. Kaiden's wolf was rumbling warmly, rubbing his cheek all over Jack while the boy smiled and petted through Kaiden's hair.
"Kaiden?"
The wolf hummed, showing he was listening as he rubbed his chin over Jack's shoulder, lips lingering and leaving tiny marks all over Jack's pale skin. It made Jack squirm slightly, encouraging his mate to find another spot to mark.

"I...I want pups... I think?"
Kaiden smiled warmly at that, chuckling at the confused statement before he nuzzled Jack's throat, pulling his little human closer against his chest. "Good. I want pups too." Jack smiled, eyes blinking lazily as his hands kept going back to Kaiden's soft hair.
"How many are we talking about?"
"Hmmm? How many what?" Kaiden replied distractedly, head arching into Jack's hand at the gentle scratching. He groaned softly as Jack tugged at his hair, not enough to hurt but just enough to get Kaiden's attention back on the topic.
"Pups, Kaiden. How many pups?"
"Two...ish?"
Kaiden looked down at his little mate, wincing slightly at the pointed look he gained. "Love, I can't predict how many pups you get with each pregnancy. We could be trying for one pup and end up like Chris and expect twins instead. As long as they're healthy, right?"
Jack smiled slightly, straining to lean up and brush their lips together. "Right." He cuddled closer to his wolf, feeling sleep tugging at his mind before he yawned, a small memory popping up before he sighed against Kaiden's skin.
"When we have pups, you're on diaper duty." He murmured sleepily, unaware of Kaiden's horrified expression.
Kaiden knew all to well what infants could produce and actually shivered at the memory. He once made fun of Rowan, a big and powerful wolf, running out of the nursery while gagging continuously, seeming absolutely petrified of the small diaper in his hands.
My poor nose!
Still, he would do this small favor for his mate. Reluctantly, but he would. It's the least he could do. With another full body shiver, Kaiden scrunched up his nose at the memory of baby diapers and buried his nose against Jack with a soft whine.
Maybe we could wait for a pup... just a bit longer.
A few days passed before Chris and Rowan were free to go back home. Their little daughter Lilly cradled protectively against Chris' chest as Rowan packed everything, a deep content purr continuously rumbling through the man's chest.
Jack and Kaiden were already prepared, Jack's long fingers sifting through Kaiden's fur as he laid easily on the wolf's back. He was sad to leave this place and all the pups behind but then again, he was quite eager to go home, to the pack.
Edmund and Clair stood in the distance, having already said their goodbyes to their son and son in law. Jack shyly waved at them when Kaiden stood up, padding towards the forest as Rowan shifted. It was awe inspiring to see the massive wolf of Rowan move as gently as it could, careful not to jostle their sleeping pup.
They didn't need to worry though; the little Lilly was fast asleep against her father's chest, strapped safely and secured against his bare skin so Chris could hold onto Rowan with both hands.
After a few hesitant strides, both wolves picked up the pace to a slow run, going faster when they realized the baby was fine with their pace. Jack chuckled and buried his nose against Kaiden's fur, pleased to feel the wolf shiver underneath him.
His eyes flew around, still not used to riding on a wolf but he did enjoy the spectacular view of the meadows flashing by, the occasional herds of deer they spooked and the wind rushing in his face.
They paused at a creek, allowing Rowan and Kaiden to lap at the water eagerly before they pushed ahead. It took them nearly a day but both wolves let out a booming howl as they approached pack territory.
It was instantly responded by a multitude of howls, all greeting them back. Two howls were closer by and when they breeched through the forest, Jack smiled warmly at the sight of the twins.
Both men were wriggling on the spot, whining and yipping as they were eager to meet the newest addition to the family. They charged forwards yet whined disappointedly, grinding to a halt when Rowan snarled, snapping his teeth in warning.
"Guys, be gentle." Chris scolded while slowly slipping from Rowan's back, wincing as his feet hit the ground. "Drew, Devon... meet your little sister Lilly." The two wolves crawled forwards, tail wagging a mile a minute while Rowan kept a close eye on them.
Slowly they sniffed at the bundle wrapped against Chris' chest, tails picking up speed as they got familiar with the scent. Jack kept watching until Kaiden nudged him, motioning with his furry head towards the village.
Jack nodded softly and quietly stepped away, allowing the family to have this time on their own. Besides, judging by the way Kaiden shifted and chased after the giggling boy, Kaiden had a few other things on his mind.
His wolf caught him just as he reached the front door and the pack shook their heads warmly as they heard Jack's laughing scream being accompanied by Kaiden's deep rumble.
"Young love." One of the older wolves would remark and carry on with his business.

Re: Dragonize
After an unexpected turn of events, Drew must now survive in a world full of challenges with life-or-death stakes. Gone are the days when the biggest problems to face were awkward small-talk at physics department luncheons or mountains of lab work; this former physicist is now adrift in an unfamiliar land without any equipment. Now, Drew's only tool (if it can be called that) is a System, which provides constant reminders of all of the things that are still out of reach for a low-level being who's just arrived in a new world. Luckily, Drew has one powerful asset when taking on the challenges of this new world: surviving violent conflict is a lot easier when you have the power of a dragon at your disposal. Still, Drew has always considered violence a last resort. Why turn to fists (or claws) when a bit of quiet consideration might expose a better path forward? Maybe a life of quiet contemplation is still within reach for this former academic researcher. ...Or maybe not. It probably won't be a life of bloodless pacifism. Additional information for those who wish to calibrate their expectations (I'm adding this based on a few comments I received from readers who feel that the story is not what they expected from a dragon-themed story): Re: Dragonize is not a power fantasy -- or at least, it's not intended to be one. Re: Dragonize is a progression fantasy starting with a protagonist who must start at the bottom (or close to it), and work gradually upwards, making incremental progress with plenty of setbacks along the way. The protagonist, as someone coming from the world of academia, tends to be cautious, methodical, and contemplative. As such, expect this story to contain more than a few digressions as the main character takes the time to pontificate on a variety of topics ranging from Newtonian physics and horology to the nature of existence and the ethical dilemmas associated with being an obligate carnivore.
