《Red Riding Hood BxM》Chapter 11

A few minutes after his stunning discovery, Jack was seated with a cup of steaming soup and a few slices of bread ready on the table. His eyes were constantly glancing between how Roman was catering to whatever Chris desired or needed and to the young, slender man himself, who was absentmindedly brushing over his bulging stomach with a smile.
It was amazing to see how a big, burly guy like Rowan, who looked as if he could easily separate a man's head of his shoulders with just a slap, was now giving Chris the kicked puppy glance when his mate asked for a private conversation with Jack.
Rowan had left the room with a few backwards glances, dragging Kaiden with him as they went to the kitchen; according to Rowan, there was a pile of filthy dishes waiting for them.
Jack was twitching with his fingers, his eyes constantly straying towards the young man beside him before they glanced at the kitchen, where he heard the comforting rumbling of his mate's voice.
"So," Chris sighed as he rubbed over his extended stomach. The slender male smiled warmly as he took in how Jack twitched with his fingers, feeling shy all of a sudden. How did you breach this subject?
A little flutter in his stomach made him glance at the entrance of the kitchen, smiling softly as he caught Kaiden glancing back at him. Jack looked back up at the clearing of a throat and flushed brightly as Chris gave him a pointed look.
"Newly mated huh? I first thought it would fade away, that blissful sensation of being loved, wanted, needed. It only grows stronger over time." He sighed, winking at his own mate before Jack managed to find his voice.
"H-how is...that," he gestured towards Chris' bulging stomach, hoping that he wasn't being rude, "How is that possible? I mean, you're a guy. Right?" Jack blushed even harder as Chris laughed softly, tossing his blonde curls over his shoulder.
Jack quickly busied his hands with the food, hiding his embarrassment before he froze when Chris grabbed a hold of his hand, rubbing soothing circles with his thumb. "I'm sorry, you simply reminded me of the day I was welcomed into the pack."
"What happened?" Jack asked curiously, quickly handing Chris his own bowl of soup when he noticed the man struggling to reach forwards. "Thanks dear. I'll tell you but I'd like to know how you and Kaiden met as well." After Jack's nod, Chris gently blew on his steaming soup before taking a tentative sip.
"Well, I came from a village up North, rather far away from here actually." A distant look clouded Chris' eyes for a moment before he gave me a wry smile. "I guess we're alike in some ways. I always knew I was different from my other siblings; they were big, strong and muscular guys while I'm ...this." He added with a wave of his hand.

Jack nodded in understanding; like Jack, Chris was slender and lacking that obvious masculine build that Rowan or Kaiden had in abundance. Even their heights were dwarfed by their mates.
"So obviously, the town slowly started to point fingers, whispering behind their backs and when they started the rumors that I loved a man like a woman should, they decided to wash their hands clean of me." Chris said tiredly, leaning back and smiling as Rowan crept in the room with a concerned expression.
Rowan didn't wait to be invited and simply sat down beside Chris, lifting his mate's feet into his lap before he started rubbing them. "So much for that private chat, huh?" Jack jolted as hands pulled him up before he sighed softly and settled back down against Kaiden's chest, closing his eyes as he felt Kaiden's lips brush against his hair.
"Anyways, I hopped on a cart with traveling merchants and moved to a village about an hour or four away from here. Rowan was doing pack business there and saw me unpack-" Chris smiled at the large, burly man as he grinned widely as he continued the story.
"I was gob smacked by this little fairy that tried to fit in. He needed a place to stay so I offered him mine, seduced his pants off and here we are." His brown eyes sparked with mischief while Chris shook his head and gave Rowan a playful push with his feet.
"If I remember correctly, you tried to come onto me until I kneed you in the groin and left you squealing like a girl." Chris retorted with a brilliant smile.
Rowan didn't even look that embarrassed, though Jack felt Kaiden's silent laughter vibrate through his back. "But we're getting of track here. I'm sure Jack would love to hang around and chat with you some more love, but he deserves some answers."
The blond male smiled sheepishly before Rowan leaned forwards to look Jack straight in the eye. "Look pup, there's no way to go around this but as you can see, all weres can impregnate their mates, male or female."
Jack gulped before he turned in Kaiden's lap with a terrified look. All he could think about was last night and how irresponsible Kaiden had been. So he was a bit confused when Kaiden's lips twitched in a tired smile.
"You don't need to be afraid Jack. Its true that I can get you pregnant, if you want to that is." He quickly assured the young man in his lap, rubbing his arms soothingly. "But the fertility rate between male mates is a lot lower." Kaiden glanced towards Chris, "How long did it take you to get pregnant the first time?"
Chris frowned thoughtfully and smiled as Rowan pressed a gentle kiss against his swollen ankles before the big guy chuckled. "I think it's about... twenty years before we got pregnant the first time, right?" Chris asked, making Rowan smirk before he winked at Jack.

"And not from a lack of trying." That gained him an elbow from Chris before Rowan leaned over to kiss his mate and stood up. "Drew and Devon will be here for dinner soon. If they can wake up though." He added with a grin before going back to the kitchen.
Jack frowned slightly before glancing at Chris. "Twenty years? Y-you don't look any older than mid thirties." Chris laughed heartily before nodding, "Yes, well, that's a lucky side effect of being mated to a werewolf. They're immortal and it wouldn't be fair to them if their mates are mortal."
"S-so...I...I'm-" Chris nodded, aware that Jack was more than likely overwhelmed with all the information fired at him. "Yeah, you're immortal. I doubt you'll be able to shift, it sometimes happens but that's extremely rare and only with the help of Verona's witchcraft."
Jack huffed out a deep breath as he rubbed over his face, feeling a headache coming up. So not only would he be able to...get pregnant, he was also immortal and there was a chance that he might turn in a big, fluffy wolf?
"Are you okay love?" Kaiden asked softly, rubbing soothingly over Jack's back. He nodded before sighing as he shook his head, contradicting himself. "I'll be fine, just...let's focus on one subject at a time."
Jack leaned back against Kaiden, shivering slightly as Kaiden's arm curled around his stomach and pulled the boy just a bit closer. "The pregnancy...How do you..."
"Deliver?" Chris finished, finishing his cup of fragrant soup, letting out a soft sigh before he rubbed his stomach unconsciously. "Obviously, we don't have a natural way to give birth but Verona has a way. She uses her magic to put us in a deep sleep and brings out the baby herself." He lifted his shirt the tiniest bit, showing Jack a small line across his belly.
Jack felt Kaiden's hands rubbing soothingly over his own stomach. "Would that hurt? I've seen some women in labor and they had to endure pain but...to have to retrieve the child from the stomach?" A small pinch from Kaiden pulled Jack out of his thoughts, noticing that they had some more guests.
Two young adolescent males had ventured into the living room, pausing at the entrance when they spotted both Kaiden and Jack, giving them some curious glances before they continued their way to Chris.
"Hey dad. How're you feeling?" The tallest one with dark brown curls asked, leaning over Chris to give him a tender hug while the slightly shorter, blonde guy simply grinned and plopped beside Chris. "Hey Dad. Kaiden, who's the cutie?"
"My mate." Kaiden stated proudly, pulling Jack closer to him as he realized the younger man was growing shy again. The wolf realized that it was a natural reaction for the boy but his heart squeezed with emotions as Jack sought his comfort, making the big guy grin happily.
The boys both grinned widely, congratulating Kaiden for finally finding his mate. The taller boy sat down beside Jack, grinning down at the pale boy before introducing himself and his sibling. "I'm Drew and that there is my brother Devon. We're fraternal twins and as we were told, quite a surprise, right pap?"
"Yep." Rowan agreed full heartedly, slapping his eldest on the back with a smirk, "Instead of one, we got two in one go. And now a third one on the way." Drew grinned while his brother Devon was fussing over Chris before the fraternal twins aimed their attention back to Jack.
"I guess these two have been informing you of male pregnancy but you don't need to be afraid." Devon said, shaking his blonde curls from his green eyes while Drew continued, "Its kinda like a normal pregnancy, except you'll have to 'practice' more to get it done the first time. Something about male hormones interfering with the natural process."
At Jack's confused look, Devon flopped his hand through the air, "Its something Verona talked about, you'll have to ask her about the specifics." Jack nodded slowly, biting his lip before he asked, "And what about feeding the newborn? I mean, do we also get breasts?" He asked shyly, flinching when Devon and Drew roared into laughter.
"No Jack." Rowan reassured after slapping his two sons up the head. "Thank the gods for that. When its time to deliver, the mated pair usually travels to a smaller pack way down south, where the pups will have more space and safety growing up."
Chris stood up, squirming in between his son and Jack as he stared the young boy right in the eye. "Don't you worry about a thing Jack. When its time to think about kids, you can rely on the whole pack for back-up. There is always one female who's had a babe and willing to feed your child, or we'll make do with the organic stuff that Verona provides. Either is good enough. Just focus on the present."
Jack took a deep, shaky breath before nodding. After they talked some more, he quickly realized that he didn't need to be afraid; Yes, he could get pregnant but that could take years before he even got to that stage. And when he did, he could ask countless of mothers and baby dadies for help or information.
He glanced up at his wolf, who was glancing at Chris's extended stomach with a warm look in his eyes. Jack felt a small flutter in his stomach as he imagined being pregnant himself and having a little child of Kaiden and himself.
A little Kaiden...
Suddenly getting pregnant didn't seem that bad at all.
