It's night now and Melanie and Fifi were in bed and so was Lizzie and Joel. Melanie was in bed, but wasn't asleep. She was playing quitely with her stuffed animals. It was a snowy night and it cep Melanie up. Then she heard the door open. Then she saw someone in a black mask open Melanie and Fifi's door. Then her grabbed Melanie and pit his hand on her mouth. "Mmmmmm!" "Shut up stupid baby." The guy whispered.
An hour later
Melanie's hands were tied together and he mouth was taped shut.
Lizzie wakes up and went to go wake up Fifi and Melanie for breakfast but then all she sees is a messy bed. "Fifi, have you seen your sister?" "No, why?" Fifi asked in a confused. "We're all playing a little game of hide and seek! But we have to find your sister, and fast!" Lizzie goes downstairs and asks Joel "Have you seen Melanie?" "No, why?" Joel asked. "I can't find her! I told Fifi we're playing hide and seek because I didn't want to worry her." "We're not playing hide and seek? Sisy is missing?" Fifi asked standing by Lizzie and Joel's feet. "Fifi, we need to find your sister soon cause we aren't playing hide and seek!" "Ok." Fifi tells Lizzie. They search all of London and they still couldn't find her.
Melanie noticed that there was a swimming pool out in the back of the house. There was a window and Lauren had tought them how to get out of situations like this. Melanie wiggled her and and managed to get her hands out of the rope. Then she took of the tape slowly so it didn't make a sound or hurt. Then she untied herself and saw a hammer so she moved her chair and grabbed the hammer then she moved the chair to the window and broke the glass and jumped into the swimming pool. Now Melanie doesn't know how to swim without inflatables but she did the doggie pattle and she started to swim up, up, up! Then she ran and found a cop. She told the cop everything. "Do you know the address of your house?" The cop asked. "I wasn't at my house, I was at my auntie Lizzie's in London. She wasn't my real aunt but her and my mom are like bffs." Then the cop went around every house in London in tell they found Lizzie's house, but Lizzie wasn't home. "What does your auntie look like?" The cop asked. "She has pink hair and blue eyes." And then they saw a car pull into the driveway. Then the cop knocked on the car door "Ma'am, are you missing a child?" The cop asked Lizzie. "Yes, I am." Lizzie tells the cop. "I think I have her." The cop told Lizzie. Then Melanie came out the car. "Melanie! We were so worryed about you!" Lizzie said exitedly. "Thank you so much!" Lizzie told the cop. "No problem." The cop told Lizzie. They all went inside and then Melanie told them everything. "That explains why your so wet." Lizzie tells Melanie. "Today was a long day, you guys mother is coming home tomorrow." Joel tells everyone.

Just a little note: I'm a big believer in endings that are upbeat but not candy-coated, and not a fan of grim-and-gritty or of glamorized violence. These are adults in a difficult situation. However, no one gets raped, and the physical violence is, all things considered, fairly minimal. There is some harassment, sexual and otherwise, and also some mild restraint and mild verbal abuse. Complicating factors are generally wizardly or fae in nature.
