"Come on, Felix!" Rachel tugged my arm. "Just this once? It'll be fun!"
I pushed her off grumpily. "No, Rachel, you know I don't don't like to go to those kinds of places!"
"Places like what? Places where you'll actually socialize for once?" She continued trying to drag me out of the house.
"I do talk to people!" I argued.
"Yeah, you talk to Changbin. JUST Changbin. Come on, Lix it's good for you!" She begged.
I sighed and gave in to her puppy dog eyes. "Fine." I agreed. "But if it gets too crowded, I'm leaving."
"Yay!" She shrieked in excitement. I rolled my eyes and headed to my room to get changed.
As I lifted the hem off my shirt to take it off, I frowned. Turning myself side to side to examine myself in the mirror, my face twisted into a glare. Why can't I look like them? Why must I be so ugly? I bet people can't even stand to look at me.
"Feeeeeeeeeelix!" My sister yelled through the other room. "Hurry up, will you?"
"Coming! Be patient!" I screeched back and shook my head. I guess I don't have to change, it's only a cafe anyway.
"I thought you were going to change?" She asked as I walked back into the living room. I only shrugged as a response. "At least put on a jacket, it'll be cold." She threw me one I had left on the sofa.
"Fine, can we go now?"
"Why the sudden rush?" She smirked. "I thought you didn't want to go?"
"Shut up." I smirked back and ran out the door, leaving her gaping.
"Lee Yongbok, get back here this second!" Rachel chased after me.

*Timeskip to the cafe*
I pushed open the glass door to enter the warm store. Immediately as I walked in, I inhaled the aroma of strong black coffee. It was a cozy little shop with a few customers. I breathed in a sigh of relief.
"Go get a table. I'll order for us." She gestured to the booths by the small stage. I nodded and took a seat on the cushioned bench. Resting my chin on my arm, I gazed out at the busy streets outside and spaced out as I waited for my sister.
"Here, try this." She pushed a cup of warm coffee across the table with her fingers.
"Thanks, sis." I brought the small cup up to my cold lips and slowly took a sip, savoring the wonderful taste. "Mmm, this is actually pretty good!" I gave her a smile.
"Told you you'd like it!" Her attention turned to the stage behind me as I placed the cup back down between my hands. I shifted myself to face the soft strumming of a guitar.
I squinted to see who was playing, but couldn't quite make out their face. He sang the first word, and I was immediately attracted to the sound of his voice. It was beautiful. The tone of it was soothing and drew me in for more.
I'm gonna pick up the pieces
And build a Lego house
When things go wrong we can knock it downMy three words have two meanings
There's one thing on my mind, it's all for youAnd it's dark in a cold December, but I've got ya to keep me warm
And if you're broken I'll mend ya
And keep you sheltered from the storm that's raging on nowI'm out of touch, I'm out of love

I'll pick you up when you're getting down
And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better nowI'm out of sight, I'm out of mind
I'll do it all for you in time
And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better nowI'm gonna paint you by numbers and color you in
If things go right we can frame it, and put you on a wallAnd it's so hard to say it but I've been here before
And I'll surrender up my heart and swap it for yoursI'm out of touch, I'm out of love
I'll pick you up when you're getting down
And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better nowI'm out of sight, I'm out of mind, I'll do it all for you in time
And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better nowDon't hold me down
I think my braces are breaking and it's more than I can takeAnd if it's dark in a cold December, but I've got ya to keep me warm
And if you're broken I'll mend ya
And keep you sheltered from the storm that's raging on nowI'm out of touch, I'm out of love

As he finished the song, I found myself wanting more. My intense stare was locked on the boy, and my eyes widened in astonishment. He could be an idol with that talent and stage presence.
He stood up, getting ready to leave. As he stepped off the stage, he saw me looking and gave me a sweet smile. I gasped.
Chris?
