Jacob was dressed in a suitable attire, most appropriate for a wedding. Of course not, he wasn't getting married. He had just received an invitation.
As Jacob went to the wedding, he noticed a pack of familiar faces. Newt and Tina were married for a few months now and moved to Dorset. Theseus was engaged to Valerie, another Auror and Nagini and Credence were courting.
Everyone found love. Except for him.
As he saw the bride walk down the aisle, arm in arm with her sister, he couldn't think of anything except her.
The one woman who enchanted him to the Moon and back. Queenie.
She was marrying Abernathy.
After their exchange of vows and wedding rings, there came a sentence which shook Jacob to the roots. "I pronounce you as husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride".
And Jacob saw, to his horror, Queenie kissing another pair of lips. Once walked into his life and completely changed it and now, he was back.
Jacob woke up with a start. He calmed himself down by assuring his brain that Queenie wasn't married and definitely not Abernathy.
"Nagini?" he yelled.
There was no answer.
Jacob yawned and put on his socks. Then he trotted downstairs, still shaken by the dream and saw a note taped to the cupboard.
Jacob,
I'm leaving to find where Credence is. I'm going to Rio with Kama. Take care of yourself and the creatures.
Nagini
"What in the world. . ?" Jacob tore the note from the door of the cupboard. He peered at it, examining it with utmost precision.
No, not now. Nagini was the only person he had. Now she's gone. What was he supposed to do in London? Start a bakery? He's merely a Muggle who isn't supposed to be involved in magical activities.

But he spent a lot of time with his wizard friends. He never compromised. He was the best friend a person could have.
"Mr Kowalski?" Bunty came in. She had a copy of the house keys and came in to feed the creatures.
"Bunty, I have to leave" Jacob said, immediately.
"Leave? Where?" Bunty asked.
"To South America. I'll be back with Queenie" he handed her the suitcase, "Take care of the house and the creatures. I'll send letters".
"Mr Kowalski, it's dangerous for a Muggle to wander around with Grindelwald on the prowl. You don't want to do it" Bunty warned.
"I'm fine. I want to go and get Queenie back. It's been a month, Bunty! All I've heard from Newt and Tina are some handful of postcards and souvenirs. They never tell me anything!" Jacob shouted, "I'm leaving now. If I manage to catch a boat, I can reach Rio in two weeks".
"Mr Kowalski--"
"Sorry Bunty. Have to go".
It was a dark night in Castelobruxo. Newt and Tina were staying overnight and maybe for a couple of days until they get their information.
Tina gazed at the sky, standing on a bridge. There was a river flowing below the bridge. The rickety concrete pathway connected the East Tower and the West End.
Tina liked to be alone with her thoughts. She'd rather keep everything to herself than be an emotional freak. The best way was to look at the stars and hope for a clear night.
"Thinking about something?" Newt said, as he appeared next to her.
"About Queenie. And how Jacob is" Tina replied shortly.
"He'll be fine" Newt assured her, "Bunty will take care of him".
"We've never sent him any letters regarding Queenie"
"We can't reveal anything, Tina" Newt explained, "The owl posts are constantly being monitored. So are the Muggle posts. We can't risk sending any information".

"True, but if there was a way to reach out to him" Tina sighed, "Perhaps a Two Way Mirror, but he doesn't have one".
"Have you tried Fire Network?" Newt asked.
"That's baloney. Fire Network?"
"It isn't what you think it is. I can contact home via my fireplace. I'll be here but I'll be communicating with them" Newt said.
"I don't get it. But I'll understand when I see it happen" Tina decided.
Newt let out a little laugh. Tina smiled weakly, but didn't show her pain.
"Tina?" Newt snapped up.
"What?"
"Can I hug you?" Newt said.
"Why?" she asked him.
"I figured you'd use a hug" Newt smiled, "Everyone could use a hug right about now".
Newt pulled her closer and hugged her. Tina could almost hear his heart beat faster. They stayed there, for a few more seconds before breaking apart.
"Boy, I needed that hug" Tina sighed, "Come along. Let's get back. Silva would be looking for us".
"Can't we stay here for a bit longer?" Newt pleaded, "I love it here".
"Come along, you British man" Tina laughed heartily. The first time she had ever managed to crack a decent joke.
"So I'm gone from Mr Scamander to British man?" Newt grinned.
"Shut up. I can call you what I want" Tina spoke up, defensively. She knew what Queenie would've said about this.
"How does husband sound to you, Teen?" Queenie would've teased, "Or soulmate? Or your significant other?"
And then, she realized she ought to get Queenie back. Tina oddly enjoyed those taunts and teases Queenie used to attack her with.
"You're thinking about something. It's bothering you" Newt observed.
"It's nothing at all" Tina scoffed, "It's Queenie".
"I expect it's something more than just Queenie" Newt said, "Hey, you'll get over this stub. You're the best Auror I've ever known. My brother can't put up a fight with you".
Tina laughed at the remembrance of when she tied Theseus to a chair.
"You'll handle this. We'll get through this" Newt said, "Together".
"Together" Tina repeated.

The Nine Tails of Alchemy Series
Living life in a virtual world was never part of my plan. My dreams of the future were of university, of being a world renown researcher and pharmacist. Being one of the many unfortunates forced into a virtual reality capsule to live out my days as a popsicle, was not part of that dream. But not all dreams can be achieved, and sometimes, it’s the dreams we never knew we had that come true. I dreamed of walking a path of science, and now in a world known only to the mind, I walk a path trodden by the greatest scientists of all. In these frozen dreams, I walk the path of a disciple of natural philosophy. The First Tail - Slowly uploading edited chapters. 8 51What?! The world outside the village is full of villains.
Saulo Delanova is a young Amish. He doesn't use electricity, travels by horse and carriage, and eats what he sows in a community with a traditional lifestyle, rural and voluntarily separated from modern society. A community that for foreign eyes is frozen in time. When he decides to experience the modernity that he heard so much about the cities outside of his region, a theft forces him to stop on his way to the capital city. The situation would be manageable if it weren't for a detail. In his community they live under the principles of nonviolence! In a world where each being is born with an identifying color, can summon a weapon and fight with the power of the elements -or what is known as trinity or three characteristics of a user-, villains abound because of this power that each person can easily use. Ignorant of the life in the country's most important city, Saul will have to face culture shock to adapt to this outside world unknown to him, and to the people and events that will make him fall into the bowels of the world of temptations. The sky cities are the last and greatest refuge of mankind, enormous floating slabs of rock and soil magically suspended thousands of feet above the Surface where Aether leaches into the atmosphere through great Rifts in the Earth's broken core, inflicting many with the curse of Aether sickness and giving power untold to the chosen few. For the Apt elites, who have discovered their Aptitude in manipulating the Aether around them, the world is a beautiful place, the open skies their only limit, and the abandoned Surface beneath their feet a trove of spoils awaiting new owners. For many that make up the rest of the Knackless masses, the world remains as it always was, but for those cursed few Spurned by even the touch of Aether, sometimes the best one can hope for is to be ignored.
8 151Rage: Crisis / Consequence / ???
Its been ten years since Seth was given his powers, ten years since his town was driven mad by that very same power, and ten years since its source was shunted into his head. A species of energy beings, a people filled with regret for what their entrance onto this world caused. Regret for the deaths that town perpetuated, the devastation they brought, the blow they served to the once proud heroes of this world. Heroes Seth now hopes to join, hopes to heal and atone to for what transpired. But their wounds run deep, their ire sharp, and their acceptance thin. And to top it all off... Seth's power is run far deeper than he knows, and sees his world in a light all its own. This series is my first foray into authoring, with two parts out of at best four if the readership stands. But part three will still book end nicely otherwise. And I'm not stopping till then. It is action heavy with varied and ramping up fight scenes through out. (Book 1 is heavy / Book 2 a little lighter) It is bloody in places, mildly gory in others, and heavily gory in simulated places. Nothing truly horrifying, I think, but be warned. It has trauma. PTSD is a major part of the story, but I will never trust that I got it completely right, so your mileage may vary on how believable or impactful it is. Lastly it has language. Swearing ebbs and flows as the story progresses and attitudes harden or soften. Sometimes bleeding through into the narration... somehow.
