Song above holds first place in my favorite song list. Just like Inaiye song I wanted to add this song. Cute little husband and wife song. So do check it out.

They decided to get married after two more months, as she needed to balance work and baby at the same time. Getting married, the arrangements will take a lot of time, so they postponed it.

For past one month she managed to work from home. In this one month, they searched for maid, but they weren't satisfied with any. Finally at last minute she called her previous maid, Lakshmi and she accepted their offer .

"Vidu, don't trouble Lakshmi aunty, okay?" saying that she kissed Vidya's forehead.

Shruti was surprised when Vidya didn't cry as she was leaving for work.

Maybe she didn't realize that I am leaving for work.

"Any emergency call me. I will be back or will send Viswa," saying that she left.

In the meeting within developers, Shruti got a call from her maid. She excused from the meeting and attended the call.

"I am waiting in the reception room, Vidya was crying non stop." Lakshmi said.

Shruti rushed to the reception room thinking about various possibilities.

When she reached the reception room, her heart sank on seeing Vidya's face being red because of continuous crying.

"Aww baby. Mommy is here." She picked her up and tried to console her baby.

"Amma," Vidya hugged her mommy and cried more.

Soon Akshay joined them. His heart melted on seeing Vidya crying.

Every working mothers are great. He thought.

He asked her to bring the baby to the work area. Usually mothers used to bring their children to the work area once in a while. So he invited her in.

When she entered the work area, everyone's attention was on the little bundle.

Soon one by one went near Vidya and held her. Some played with her, some gave the toys which were on their desks.

On seeing Vidya becoming cheerful, Shruti carried with her work.

Viswa came out of meeting hall. On seeing him, Vidya grinned.

"Appa," Vidya enthusiastically called out to her father and tried to wiggle out of the arms of person who was holding her.

Whole office knew their relationship as he announced their engagement. So no one reacted in surprising way when she called him as father.

Viswa carried her and patted her back. For some time she watched her dad typing on his laptop. She also tried to imitate him, just when she was about press the keys; he saved the file and locked the system so that she could play with the keys.

After that she got bored, so he handled her to Shruti.

Soon after Vidya got settled, then she returned the baby to the maid.

"Mommy will come home soon," saying that she kissed her forehead.

After that she didn't receive any phone calls making her sigh in relief.

In the evening, she went to cafeteria to have tea.

As she filled her cup with milk, she heard two of her colleagues speaking.

"Did you notice that the baby looked just like Viswa?" one of them asked.

Shruti tighten her grip on her cup.

People and their gossip! They never change.

She brushed that comment and took tea bags to dip in her milk.

"Her nose is bit pointed like Viswa and both have same eyes." The other one commented.

Most of the Indians have dark brown eyes. Shruti rolled her eyes.

"Maybe that's why he got angry when you said that Vijay could be baby's father."

"You are right. He defended her when no one did. That time it didn't strike me. Now it does," to which the other person nodded her head.

Even though her heart fluttered on knowing he defended her long time ago, it hurt her that people are still behind the gossip.

It doesn't matter what other think. Let they think whatever f**k they want, thinking that she left to her cabin.

In the evening, Shruti hurried to home before Viswa could as he was caught up in meeting with client.

Late at night, when Viswa entered her home, he frowned at the sight in front of him.

"I know you studied biotechnology, but you need not look at the baby as if you are analyzing a bacterium under microscope," he commented on seeing Shruti keenly looking at Vidya.

She laughed.

"No I was wondering how people are thinking that you are the biological father of Vidya," she rolled her eyes.

"Why?" he asked.

"One of the colleagues was saying you both have same nose and eyes. That's why I thought of comparing her nose with yours," saying that she showed her mobile displaying his picture.

He scratched his head.

"What did you do?" she asked frowning at him.

"I used to pull her nose now and then."

"You what?" she scowled to which he grinned.

"My mom used to pull my nose when I was small as she didn't want me to have small nose like my dad. I noticed Vidya having tiny nose like yours, so I was pulling hers. Maybe that's why she has pointed nose." He stuck his tongue out for which Shruti threw a pillow at him.

"God! Baby will have small nose only!" as she was about to throw another pillow at him, she heard a phone call. So she went to pick it up.

But suddenly a thought came to his mind.

What if Vidya was his baby? Time of her birth matches with his own child. Added to that, both are girls.

He looked at Shruti who was speaking in phone with her parents.

Nah, it can't be. Doctor said that I donated to a couple. He sighed. He leaned towards Vidya.

"My blood or not. You are my baby," saying that he kissed her forehead.

For few days Vidya used to cry at the middle of the day, so they used to have a video call in between. Later she got used to it.

Few days later...

"Viswa, I will be leaving office bit early. Need to take Vidya to hospital for vaccination," she informed him.

"Wait, even I am done. I will drop you both," saying that they picked Vidya from home and went to K hospital.

For vaccination, they got the token and were waiting in queue.

Suddenly she noticed OBGYN section and remembered things she wanted to discuss gynecologist doctor.

"Viswa, I need to check with gyn,"

"I will wait for you at the parking once we are finished," he informed her and she left to the other section.

She got the token and when others girls came, the nurse directed to them to other OBGYN doctor. When Shruti asked the nurse, she said, duty time of the doctor is till 8 'o' clock, after that another gynecologist will attend the remaining patients.

When it was her turn, she entered inside the doctor's cabin.

"Hi doctor," Shruti greeted her.

"Hi Shruti, long time no see. How is the baby?" Sanchana asked.

"She is fine doctor. Just came to put vaccination to her. By the way I wanted to discuss few things. I just want to know which is safe..." she hesitated to continue.

When Sanchana nodded her head, she proceeded, "contraceptive way."

Sanchana raised her eyebrow.

Shruti really wanted to bury herself due to embarrassment.

"Don't be embarrassed. Girls come often to discuss this with us. So don't feel shy." Sanchana smiled at her.

"It is that..." she stammered. Before someone else judge her, she decided to tell the truth

"I am seeing someone. We are about to get married."

"Aha, you didn't tell me. He knows about the baby right?" she asked with concern,

"Yes, yes. He is fine with it. Actually we got together because of the baby only. In two months we will be getting married."

"That's so great Shruti," saying that she congratulated her. Then they discussed for what she came to meet the gyn.

After paying the fee, she came out along with Sanchana.

In the lift, Sanchana called out to her husband asking her to pick her up.

As both headed towards parking, Sanchana froze on seeing Viswa consoling a crying baby.

Shruti on finding Viswa waiting near the car, she walked towards them.

"Doctor, he is my fiancé," she introduced him to her.

Actually we got together because of the baby only. Sanchana remembered Shruti saying that and interrupted it wrongly.

"Who told you about the baby?" she asked Viswa.

Viswa frowned as he couldn't understand what the doctor was saying.

"What?" he asked.

"Who told you about the baby?" she gestured her hands towards the baby he was holding.

"Only I and the nurse knew this. It should have been her. Tomorrow morning I will fire her for breaching the contract," saying that she picked her phone to call the nurse.

"Wait? What contract are you saying?" he asked.

"Sperm donation. As per contact you shouldn't know the baby."

She turned towards Shruti who was still confused with Sanchana's statement and asked, "Did he trouble you in any way?"

"Why would he?" she asked looking confused.

"He is your donor. And you said you got together because of the baby. Did he force you to accept the marriage or did he threaten you. We can file the case in court."

"He is my donor?"

"Did I donate to her?" both asked at the same time.

"Yeah." She said in 'duh' tone, but froze when both asked that question in surprise.

"Wait! So you guys don't about this?" she blinked.

Both shook their head 'no'.

"Sh!t! I blabbered it, thinking you both knew." Sanchana closed her eyes tightly for the blunder mistake she did.

"Then how come both of you got together?" she asked suspiciously.

"We are colleagues." Shruti answered to which Sanchana nodded her head.

When she looked at Viswa to apologize for spilling out, he stared at her blankly.

"You said I donated to a couple," he asked dejected tone.

Sanchana looked apologetically.

"I never said. You assumed you are about to donate to a couple. I didn't correct you."

"Both are same," he muttered.

Even though it wasn't her mistake, Sanchana felt guilty.

"It was part of the job. I shouldn't reveal to whom you were to donate. So I had to let you believe that you donated your sperm to a couple," she explained.

He nodded his head understanding her. She did her job.

"Sanchu," she heard her husband calling her. Bidding them bye, she left with her husband.

Shruti asked him to get in passenger side as she decided to drive.

Viswa stared at the window blankly. Shruti held his right hand and squeezed slightly in assuring way.

She really didn't know whether it was coincidence or fate.

She could feel various emotions passing through him and she didn't know to console him.

When she stopped at her home, Viswa was still looking blankly at the window.

"Viswa. We came home," she informed him.

He nodded his head and went in.

By that time Vidya became tired because of continuous crying. Soon she slept on her father's shoulder.

He placed her on the deep cradle they brought for her and went to his bedroom.

Shruti followed him. When she closed bedroom door, she pushed her to the door and clashed his lips to hers.

Pain. That was what she could feel from his kiss. After few seconds he let her breathe.

She cupped her face to make him look at her. But he refused to look at her eyes.

She placed her forehead on his and caressed his cheeks.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

He hummed no.

She dragged him to the bed and made him lay on the bed. He pulled her along with him and hugged tightly.

"I am not going anywhere," saying that she buried her head in his chest.

Late at night...

Shruti woke up at the middle of night to see Viswa missing. She walked to the other room to see him sitting beside the cradle.

She walked towards them and stood beside him. She saw how Vidya wrapped her tiny fingers around Viswa's left index finger. She placed her left hand on his shoulder on which he leaned on, so that he could lay on her hand.

"It wasn't the actually meaning," he whispered.

"What?" These were his first words after he came to know about the truth.

"Before marriage, girl is someone else's daughter. When a husband takes care of his wife, his child growing in her womb will grow on its own. So feeding someone's child will grow his own child," he explained for the proverb she said once upon a time.

He couldn't help but Thank God for making him to be at the time of delivery. He couldn't think what would have happened if he wasn't there when she was all alone in home withering in delivery pain. He shuddered at that thought and shook his head to clear those possibilities.

He looked at their daughter.

"How could I not know her?" he whispered.

"All the signs were there. The way I get attached to her or she to me, were always magical one. I knew there were some connections. But... but..." he paused.

"Viswa, don't think too much," she ran her fingers on his hair in soothing manner.

He breathed out.

"You know what? I used to get jealous on knowing someone is going to take care of my baby instead of me. Later I overcame that. Later, I wished I could get a tiny bit of information about her, just to know whether she was in safe hands. Because her happiness was important to me than her being with me.

"But contradicting to that, she was there. Infront of me." he pointed himself.

"I was there during her birth. I was the one to hold her first. It was me whom she got easily attached to. She called out to me first before she could call anyone. My princess was there with me, the entire time.

"Like a fool I was worrying about my baby unnecessarily." he rubbed his face in frustration and looked at Vidya.

Using his thumb, he caressed Vidya's finger which were wrapped around his index finger.

"Safe in our arms, Viswa. Always and Forever," saying Shruti side hugged him and rubbed his arm.

"But... it doesn't change the way I see her. I always saw her as my own daughter," he looked up at Shruti.

She smiled. "I know."

"I am bit relieved. Now and then I used to think about the other baby. But when she in front of me growing all way up, I couldn't help but thank god for making Vidya as my baby," he said.

Even she was glad that Vidya was his daughter. Many times she wished she could find his baby just to end all his worries. Turning out Vidya being their child was unexpected surprise to them.

"Still I couldn't believe this. I feel like I am still in a dream," he sighed.

"Ouch," he shouted when she pinched to confirm that it is reality.

"Not a dream right?" Shruti stuck her tongue out.

He felt Vidya stirring up to get up. He patted her tummy. On seeing her going back to sleep, he got up as he didn't want to disturb her again.

She went to living room and he laid down on her lap.

"How did you come to know about AI?" she asked.

He smiled. "That day I came to hospital with Sunita for check up."

"That's where I met you?" she asked.

He nodded his head.

"I entered soon after you left. That time Dr.Sanchana was asking nurse to contact sperm bank for availability. That was the first time I heard about it. When I asked her what it was, she explained me the procedure. It was nice to know about such innovations. After getting divorced, I was crossing the same hospital and suddenly remembered the conversation. So I went to her and asked whether the respective person got sperm. When she said no, I don't know what went to my mind, I just volunteered to donate."

"Fate has its own way of twisting its tale," she spoke.

He nodded his head.

"I used to think why I had to meet Vijay in my life and Sunita in yours. Both of them hurt us and betrayed our trust when all we did was staying loyal to them, but..." she paused.

"They were in our life for a reason. If either one of them weren't betrayed us, then we wouldn't be in this position," he completed.

She nodded her head.

"If you haven't met Vijay you wouldn't have lost trust in men and wouldn't have opted for AI. If I hadn't married Sunita, or if she hadn't got pregnant by her boyfriend, then I wouldn't have known about AI. Maybe you would have had some donor and I would be leading a life with Sunita," suddenly he felt grateful for them.

Wrong people do come at right time, so that we can know the true value of right people when they enter our lives.

She smiled at him and nodded her head.

"Even though I had a small crush on you, I wouldn't have spoken to you if these two didn't enter in our lives," he blurt out the tiny secret he had.

"Wait, you had a crush on me?" she teased him. His cheeks redden.

"Umm, it was very small one," he tried to brush off the topic.

"Ahaa. Never knew the introvert had a secret crush on me," saying that she pulled his cheeks.

"I thought it was all coincidence. You calling me during labour and helping me through that phrase and then giving us lift from Akshay - Harshita wedding," she sighed dreamily.

"Initially I also thought it was coincidence. Later with things turning out in a way that I didn't expect, made me realize that it was my destiny. I was destined to be yours like you are to be mine," saying that he got up from her lap.

She laughed.

"Yeah. And can call ourselves as a weird couple" He looked at her and frowned.

"We are doing things in reverse order right." Shruti continued.

"I carried your baby, then we fall in love. Now we are going to get married," saying that both laughed.

"Maybe those were meant to happen like that only. Why don't we follow everything like how a normal couple should do?" saying that he winked at her.

"What?"

"Since that she is my child, I need not worry about my children getting married and also, you need not have any insecurities about my love right? So shall we try for baby number two? This time in natural way," he gave her mischevious smile.

"Jeez! Where did I get you?" she shrieked and slapped his arm to which he shrugged.

"I just brought the contraceptives!" she pouted which made him to laugh.

Then he cupped her face and looked at her eyes.

"Just kidding. We will think about it after two to three years. As I said before Vidya is too young and now you are also working. It will be difficult for you. So later," he said with sincerity.

"Have I told you how much I love you?" she asked. Viswa, father of her child or not, she is glad that he entered her life.

He smiled.

"I love you so... " before she could complete, he crashed his lips to hers and she gladly reciprocated the kiss.

She had to be betrayed so that she can create a family on her own and He had to be divorced so that he can long for a family. Two squares can be placed side by side, but can never be held together. Breaking some parts in both just like jigsaw puzzle and then joining them will make them hold on to each other tightly. Similarly, their hearts were indeed needed to be broken so that they could fit each other's perfectly.
