Viswa and Sunita came home to be greeted by a surprise from both the family.

He thought of confronting Sunita, but he dropped that plan after seeing both family celebrating the news.

They shared sweets with each other. Since both Viswa and Sunita are only child, both the parents were on cloud nine as they were expecting their first grandchild.

Two days passed, he didn't have enough strength to speak to her.

Before learning about her infidelity, he had actually started to like her. But now everything is collapsed.

"You seem to be lost in thought. What happened?" Sunita asked.

"When are our parents leaving?" Viswa asked abruptly.

Frowning she said "Today"

He sighed.

Later after both the parents left, he came home soon to have 'the talk' with his wife.

"Sunita, I want you to speak honestly with me. I dislike, actually, I loathe liars. So please tell me the truth. Okay?" he asked.

She nodded looking confused.

"Am I really the father of this child?" he asked pointing towards her stomach.

"What are you asking?" tears formed in her eyes.

"Please answer me." he begged. He didn't shout or show any frustration. He tried to maintain his calmness.

She nodded her head.

He placed the reports on her hand.

"You are 8 weeks pregnant. We got married 6 weeks ago. Plus as per your notion, we had $ex one month ago right?" he said in hard tone.

She flinched when he said $ex. He never mentioned that word, he used to always say 'made love'.

She looked down at embarrassment and guilt.

"I am sorry." she sobbed.

"Stop crying. For God sake you are carrying a baby. The baby will also get hurt." he shouted for first time.

"Sor... Sorry." saying that she wiped her tears.

"Whose baby is it?" he asked.

"My ex-boyfriend." she whispered.

"Where is he now?"

He got reply by her sobbing. He sighed.

"Fine. He left you?" he asked to which she nodded her head.

"Why didn't you tell me before?" he asked her.

"My father didn't allow me to speak. I really didn't want this marriage. When my dad came to know about my boyfriend he arranged marriage with you. I refused, but he grounded me till marriage. I thought you would call me. But you didn't. I really didn't mean to cheat on you." she cried.

Viswa understood why her father didn't give number when he asked.

"When did you know that you got pregnant?"

"I doubted, when I didn't get my periods. Then that day I fainted on college. I felt these were the symptoms of pregnancy, so I informed you. I got it confirmed only after getting reports."

"Okay. Did we really have $ex that night?"

She kept quiet.

"Please tell me the truth."

"No." she whispered.

He furiously pushed the chair to the other side in frustration.

She flinched at the sound.

"How could you frame me as the father of the child when I haven't even touched you? How could you Sunita do this to me when all this while I have been trusting you and being faithful to you? Is this what I get for trusting you? I get that I shouldn't have been drunk that day. But you claiming that night as we consummated our marriage is the cheapest thing anyone could do." he yelled.

"I am sorry. I was scared." she whispered.

"I really don't care that you hid me about you past after marriage. But you could have atleast told me the truth about the baby right? Don't I have the right to know whether it is my baby or someone else's?

"Did you see the happiness in our parents face. How would I tell them that this is not my child? Do you know how much pain it would cause to your parents and mine? Do you know how much hurting it would be to me when I thought I raped my own wife without her consent when in reality I didn't even touch her? Why did you do this me?"

After yelling, he took deep breaths.

Calm down Viswa! She is pregnant. Don't hurt her child for what she did.

He didn't want to stay and shout at her. He wanted to calm his mind.

He walked out. Before leaving, he asked her, "Were you planning to tell the truth in any future?"

Tell yes! I will forget and forgive you. His heart yelled.

Her silence gave the answer and he walked out.

He didn't return that night. He was sitting at the beach side and staring at the sea.

He couldn't help but curse his fate for getting betrayed. He never cheated on anyone, no matter it was personal life or professional life. So he always expected honesty in return.

When he didn't get that, he was devastated.

Try to think from her point of view! She was scared that you might kick her out. His mind spoke out.

'But framing me as father of child when I am not? That too when I wasn't in conscious mind state.' he pointed out.

We can't do anything now? Either divorce or accept her. If you tell the truth ringer parents will they accept her? Already her boyfriend left her, what will she do when her parents also abandon her? For the baby you can forgive her? Is it hard to accept another man's child? His subconscious spoke.

He shook head. He isn't saint to accept the baby as it is. He might accept the baby one day. So the problem isn't about the baby. The moment he looked at the baby, he fell in love. The baby gave him the position of father.

But what he couldn't accept is, the betrayal by his wife.

Next day he came home with wavering mind.

He was angry on her for playing the lie card. But after seeing her glowing face dull that morning he felt sad.

"All I did was to save this marriage. I am sorry. I thought of accepting you after my studies gets over. But when I learnt about the baby I framed you as father as I didn't have any choice. When you started to care for me, it hurt me that I am betraying you. I am sorry for being selfish." she cried.

He wiped her tears.

"See I wish I could forget, but I can't. It takes time okay? I can't think anything properly. Give me some time." he said.

She happily agreed, as he didn't kick her out like she thought.

One week passed. He could see how she was trying to impress him by cooking his favorite dish.

Next day he woke up to find his wife sitting next to him and she was looking like she was about to cry.

"Hey, what happened?" he asked looking worried.

"Lokesh called me today." Lokesh is her ex-boyfriend.

"How did he get you number? Is he troubling you?" he started to get angry.

"No no. My friend gave my new number to him. He didn't know I was getting married. He knew my father had grounded me, so he tried to contact to me through my friends. But all was in vain. Now, he said that he wants to elope."

"Is he insane?" Sunita flinched at his tone.

"Sorry", he muttered.

"You are married. Isn't wrong to say like that?" he asked.

"Viswa, he loves me." she whispered. He couldn't believe his wife's words.

He thought she would forget her ex-lover.

"What are you trying to say? I don't get you?"

She sighed. "I know it is difficult for you to accept another man's child. And I hid the truth from you. I don't want to burden you with me and my baby. I told Lokesh about the pregnancy, he said he will take care of me." he shook his head.

In past one week he observed how she was trying to impress him, now she is accepting everything as her fault.

He seriously don't know whether she is immature or she has realised the intensity of the situation.

"Did you think about your parents?"

She looked sad. "I think it is high time to tell them the truth."

He didn't speak anything after that. When she wasn't ready to give a chance to this relationship why should he try to?

His parents felt bad for pushing him the marriage when he was opposing. They trusted Sunita as she was relative. But they didn't know she was in love. Even they felt betrayed by her parents.

Sunita's parents were ashamed. They didn't want to scold her during pregnancy. So they accepted her decision and apologized to Viswa's family.

The couple filed the divorce, but court ordered them to stay together for 6 months. So they didn't have any other option other than to bring the pregnancy part.

Viswa didn't want to bring that topic, as he didn't want to damage a girl's reputation, but his parents weren't that forgiving. So her pregnancy was brought out.

So the court gave them the divorce immediatly.

Again the news of newly wed couples getting divorce became hot topic in his office too.

Even though outside he showed himself as strong, inside he was broke too.

Sunita wasn't like his first love. But he did build a future for them. When it all broke down, he was pushed into depression.

His family tried to be there for him, but he pushed them out of his circle. He wanted to be alone for few days. After that he knew he will become normal.

Just like he thought after few days he returned to normal. He started to think positivity out of everything.

When he started to like his wife, a bomb was thrown at him, saying it wasn't his baby. But he was about to forgive her, she left with her lover.

Maybe it wasn't his destiny to be with her.

That's what he thought.

As he was going home, he crossed the hospital he and his ex-wife had visited.

Suddenly he remembered the conversation he had with the doctor Sanchana.

He took U-turn and went to the hospital.

After getting appointment, he entered her cabin.

"Hi doctor."

"Hi. Where is your wife?" she asked. Sanchana has good memory power. That's her job, isn't?

He smiled sadly.

"Ex-wife." he answered.

Sanchana didn't ask further. She understood it had to do with his ex-wife's pregnancy as he was asking how old the baby was.

"You are here for?" she asked wondering if he didn't come for wife then for what reason could he have come here?

He cleared his throat.

"Well, you were saying about the sperm donor right?"

"Yes."

"Did that couple get a donor?" he asked.

"Nope. We didn't get one. She crossed her ovulation period also. We have booked one. We might get in two months. But not sure, as there are many people booked 5-6 months before." Sanchana said with concern.

But she didn't correct Viswa's assumption about Shruti came as couple. Everything was confidential. If he thinks it is couple let him.

"Umm, doctor, if you don't mind, can I donate my sperm to that couple?"

I know this chapter kinda rushed one. But I didn't want to drag the story also. Already I am late by two chapters. As I said before, hero part should be in chapter two. Main lead introduction itself took four chapters in total. *sighs*

Anyways, how was the chapter? I hope you get how the story is going to progress right? Since all flashbacks over, Story will proceed much better. *fingers crossed.* because no more betrayal only love will happen in future updates. Even I am interested to type the upcoming chapters.
