Janus had somehow fallen asleep when he was curled up with Remus, well when he was curled up with Remus. he woke up to an empty bed, logan had decided to give Janus space. the entire room was covered in a black substance that he could only believe was blood. something bright green caught his eye, he looked over and it was the stuffed octopus he gave Remus on his first day here. Janus knew it would be a while before he finally accepted Remus was gone but be decided to focus on the good memories he had of Remus.

logan was trying to look for a way to revive aside. he was also deciding whether to have Janus tell the other three about Remus or just to do it himself. he would ask Janus later, for now, he is focused on trying to get Remus back. no matter if nobody said it, he was important, that's why Romulus split in the first place.

next day~

Roman didn't know why Logan called the three of the light sides. when he got there he saw Logan and Janus sitting on the couch, on the other couch was Virgil and Patton. Patton really wanted to sit by Logan but Logan said to sit on the couch in front of him so Patton did that instead, he just doesn't know why Logan decided to sit with Janus. and Virgil, well, Virgil just wanted to go back to his fortress of doom.

Logan looked over at Janus to see if he wanted to tell them, but Janus looked like he could burst into tears at any moment so he took that as a no.

"why is that thing here," Roman said with absolute disgust in his voice.

"well if you would listen i would tell you" Logan took a deep breath" Remus faded'

silence was all that filled the room. Patton broke the silence but in all the wrong ways" isn't that a good thing" Logan was shocked, how could Patton be thinking like that, sure Remus was annoying but even so. Patton continued"now Thomas doesn't have those bad thoughts anymore and he can finally be a good person"

"PATTON, HOW CAN YOU SIT THERE AND SAY THAT." logan screamed.

"WELL, ITS THE TRUTH. IF REMUS DIDENT GIVE THOMAS THOSE THOUGHTS HE MIGHT BE ABLE TO BE BETTER IN LIFE"

"SO WHAT YOUR SAYING IS THAT WE SHOULD GET RID OF JANUS TO"

"THAT'S NOT WHAT IM SAYING, IT'S THAT THOMAS WAS GETING IDEAS AND IF WE KEEP ROMULUS TOGETHER IT WOULD HAV-" Patton stopped himself, he said too much

"you split Romulus," Janus said in a shaky voice. what no one knew is that he had a small crush on Romulus before the split.

Patton was sweating bullets now, he never intended for his secret to get out."Patton We. Are. Through."

"w-what, no. Virgil, Roman, your with me right" no one was on patton's side.
