"Cool!" Chase says excitedly, looking at me.
"Wow... You can't even tell it's her," Clove says. "Nice job, Zaine."
"I wouldn't say nice," Killian adds, gaping at me. "I'd say awesome. Reina looks like she really could be our sister."
Zaine chuckles. "Of course she does. I'm not the best spy for nothing. Disguise is a key factor in staying undercover."
"And the make up won't come off when Reina showers or if she gets splashed by accident?" Clove asks.
Zaine looks at me, then at Clove, then at Killian, looking a little nervous. I know why he's nervous: he's worried how Killian will react when he hears what happened.
Earlier, Zaine took me to the bathroom to put on the make up and made Clove, Killian and the twins wait in the living room. As he was getting ready to dye my hair, he muttered, "This would be so much easier and quicker if I could use my power on you," and it was like his power had heard him. I felt this tingling sensation and when I looked in the mirror, I could see my face changing. My eyes turned chocolaty brown and my face became a little thinner, like Clove's. My hair became a dark brown, a little lighter than Killian's hair and my scent changed.
Zaine had looked shocked for a second then fainted, probably from the energy taken from using his power on me, even if it was unconsciously done. I was too shocked to catch him and he hit his head on the bathtub. I still feel guilty that I didn't catch him but he keeps waving off my apologies.
"Uh... It's not makeup," Zaine mumbles.
Killian's eyes narrow, hearing his boyfriend's nervousness. "What do you mean 'it's not makeup?'"
Zaine looks at me for help so I explain what happened. Hearing how Zaine collapsed, Killian immediately starts looking over him, making sure he's not hurt too badly. Protective Killian, anyone can see how much he loves Zaine and vice-versa.
Clove sent an email to Asher, asking for temporary shelter and he said yes. Clove, Killian, Zaine, Chase, Rhea and I will be sharing a house on Moonblood territory and we'll be staying until January 5th. It's been arranged that Clove, Killian, Zaine and I will attend Oakland High and Chase and Rhea will be watched by some of the pack caretakers at the pack house, where they can play with the other kids.
We're leaving in a few hours. And yeah, Zaine did convince us to let him go as that blonde girl, under the name Regina George Robertson. I don't know why or how we agreed to it but he is. He's going to wear some of the girl clothes he has for missions when he disguises himself as a girl.
"You know, if we really want to make Asher think you died and Autumn is his second chance mate, we should make him feel pain, like the bond is breaking," Clove says.
"And how do we do that without actually breaking the bond?" I ask. "Rejecting him won't work, he'll know it was me rejecting him, like how I felt him taking back it rejection."
"Simple," Clove replies. "Kiss someone and hopefully we can convince him that you died, not cheated."
I look at her, puzzled for a second before I understand. It'll hurt both me and Asher if I kiss or try anything sexual with someone other than him and vice-versa.
No, Raven says. It's awful, the pain it would cause. Too much. Don't put us or mate through it.
I know you still have slight feelings for him, Raven, but I don't. And I want to go home without anyone knowing I'm me, I reply.
Raven sighs. Alright... But don't kiss too long or we could black out for who knows how long.
I give Clove a nod. "Pucker up, Strange," I say, smirking at her. "You aren't my type but Flash and Changeling are possessive and we both know where their lips have been."
Clove smirks and nods before leaning closer to me. Even before our lips meet, I feel a small pain appear in my chest and head. It grows more intense when Clove's lips meet mine and I force myself not to pull away. The pain of losing your mate is the worst thing you can ever feel and it lasts a long time.
I try to focus on the gentle feeling of Clove's lips against mine, her sweet clove and strawberries scent, her hands squeezing mine to help ground me.
My head pounds and my body feels like it's burning. The room spins as nausea churns in my stomach. Faintly, I can feel Clove pull away and I hear someone shouting my name. I open my eyes but I can't see anything but swirls of blurred colour. I blink, trying to focus. It doesn't work and the room keeps spinning.
Rei, Raven says. Rei, focus on the voice.
I listen to her and try to focus on the voice calling my name. It sounds distorted and keeps fading from loud to soft. Slowly, the voice starts to even out and everything starts to focus around me.
"Rei? Rei, can you hear me?" Clove says, holding my shoulders to keep me upright.
I shake my head in an effort to clear it. "Yeah... Holy shiitake mushrooms, let's not do that again."
"How're you feeling?" Killian asks.
He and Zaine are kneeling at the side of the couch beside me. Chase and Rhea are beside them, both of them looking at me worriedly.
"My head's pounding and I feel a bit sick," I say honestly.
"Still think you can make the trip?" Zaine asks.
I nod tiredly. "Yeah, I think so. Flash will have to carry me if not"
Killian chuckles softly but agrees.
"Just rest for now," Clove says. "We still have a couple hours before we leave."

I sigh and nod again, wanting to do something to help get ready, not sit here and do nothing. But Clove's right, I probably should rest.
"I'll go get you some ibuprofen," Clove says, standing up and heading into the bathroom.
I lie down on the couch and let my eyes close.
It's still a little hard to believe that in just a few hours, I'll see my brother again.
➵
We're at the border. The border of the home where I grew up. Where I was bullied, and abused.
"Ready?" Clove asks.
I nod, nervously playing with the zipper on my suitcase. As we walk onto Moonblood territory, I shiver slightly. I feel nervous, what if someone recognizes me? No, they won't... I look completely different and I don't have the same personality and habits that I used to have... They won't be able to tell it's me.
We walk for a bit, looking for the patrol that Asher said would greet us. I hear a howl and see a group of wolves approaching us. Some are in wolf form, while some are in human form.
I recognize two of them immediately, both in human form. Scott and Dean, Asher's friends, and the new Delta and Gamma. I don't see Asher himself though, or Raiden.
"Hey there," Dean says as he and the rest of the group stand in front of us. "You're the Rangers, right?"
I manage to keep myself from replying. We decided it should be Killian who acts as the leader or the head of family since he's the oldest.
Killian nods. "Yep. I'm Killian, these are my younger siblings, twins sisters Clove and Autumn and the other, younger set of twins, Chase and Rhea." He gestures to each of us in turn. Chase and Rhea wave excitedly. "And this is my b- girlfriend, Regina."
Zaine grins and does a little bow. Some of his hair-the long blonde hair that Regina has-falls in his face, making him flick his head.
I roll my eyes. How in the name of hell did you convince us to let you come as Regina?
Because I wouldn't stop annoying you otherwise, Zaine replies, sending a mental image of him grinning.
"Nice to meet you," Scott says. "I'm the gamma, Scott, and this is my mate Dean, the delta."
I blink, surprised. Well that's new.
Always expect the unexpected, Reina, Clove says.
"Oh my god," Zaine whispers, staring at Scott with wide eyes.
"You got a problem with it?" Dean asks, sounding angry.
Of course, considering Zaine's real gender, it would be hypocritical for him to say you shouldn't be gay.
"No, never!" Zaine says excitedly. "I love gays and rainbows! This is great! Isn't it great, Killie!"
Killian nods but grumbles, "Don't call me that."
Dean relaxes and gives Zaine a smile. Of course, Zaine returns it with a big grin.
"Alpha Asher couldn't make it," Scott says. "He had a sudden... personal matter to take care of and Beta Raiden stayed to help him with it."
Killian nods. "Of course. We understand."
Probably the pain from the cheating thing, Clove says.
Yeah, Killian agrees.
"If you follow us, we'll take you to where you'll be staying," Scott says.
"Alright," Killian replies. "Come on peeps."
"Don't call us that," Clove whines.
Rhea on the other hand, grins and giggles, "I'm a peep! Peep peep!"
Scott and Dean lead us to the house where we'll be staying, the rest of the wolves head off towards the pack house. Huh, I still remember where it is. Well, I guess I did spend most of my life here so I shouldn't be surprised.
As the house comes into view, I can't help but think of our real house. They look similar, about the same size and made of the same type of wood. From the appearance, it looks like it won't be too hard to settle since it looks familiar.
Scott and Dean give us a quick tour of the house. They show us the kitchen and it's appliances, living room and upstairs, everything we may need.
"And that's it," Dean says. "We'll leave you guys to get settled. Dinner at the pack house is at 5:30, breakfast is at 7:00 in the morning, if you want to join. Um what else... Oh! Your schedules for school tomorrow are on the island in the kitchen and a pack caretaker will come over at 7:30 to take the younger twins to the pack house for the day. You don't mind picking them up after school though right?"
"Yeah that's alright, we can pick them up," Killian says with a nod. "Thanks."
"No problem," Scott replies, smiling. "We'll see you tomorrow at school."
With that, they head out the door and off. Out the window, I see them dash off in the direction of the pack house.
"Where are they off to so quickly?" Zaine asks, also seeing them run off.
"Probably to check on Asher," I murmur. "They are best friends, or at least they were."
"First things first," Killian says seriously. "Dibs on the master bedroom!"
I can't help but roll my eyes. Of course that's his first priority.
"Dibs on sharing a room with Flash!" Zaine shouts, grinning.
Clove cringes at his girly voice. "Seriously why do you have to sound like that."
"I miss your real voice, and face," Killian complains.
Zaine rolls his eyes. "I'll change back later, I have to change out of these clothes first."
Killian pouts but nods.
"I call sharing a room with Rhea!" Chase cries, hugging his twin.
Rhea giggles and hugs him back. I smile as I watch them.
"Come on, let's go choose rooms," Clove says, smiling.
As we all head up the stairs, I can't help but think how interesting these next few weeks will be.

Second Patriarch: Rise of the Liu Clan
After the death of his father, Liu Zhu must prevail over his older brother in order to become the Liu Clan's second patriarch and bring his family to glory within Yutian Country. In the process Liu Zhu will come across lucky chances, have brushes with death, and slowly expand his world beyond that of the small country he lives in. NOTE: Currently dropped for various reasons. The short version of why I dropped it is because even the shortest form of my outlining resulted in a main plot of at least 300 - 400 chapters and I messed up massively by directly adapting it from my first attempt at this, which was a choose your own adventure on another website. It did not make the jump well at all imo.

The Apocalypse Show - Dungeon Core
There were lot's of ways that people had predicted that the world would end. A few even had it partially correct. But how could they have predicted it would be a combination of the system apocalypse and aliens. Specifially aliens that wanted to create the equivlant of a TV show about the system apocalypse on Earth. Arthur woke up with a headache and the option to create a character. Most people would have gone with the safe choice and selected to stay a human. Arthur suspected that wouldn't be the safe choice in his new world. Instead he decided to see what other races were available. Eventually he decided to become a dungeon core instead. Of course being a dungeon core comes with a number of challenges. Starting with the fact that he was a giant crystal instead of having a body, managing a bunch of unintelligent minons, and most importantly the reaction of his human neighbors when they discover him. If he can overcome these challenges he may be able to enjoy some of the benefits. Such as the fact that dungeon cores are immortal and he would eventually have an entire army of dungeon minions that would obey any of his commands. Perhaps even find some female companions that are looking for a safe place during the apocalypse. Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it R for occasional scenes of violence, gore, nudity, and sexual content. This isn't something you would find in the young adult section. This does not mean that this would be rated NC-17 or X, if that is what you are looking for try lewd dungeon.

My Good Friend Murphy
***Disclaimer*** I wrote and am writing this purely for my own amusement. That means that this could have major revisions done to it sporadically, it has more grammar errors than even the most mentally stable grammar nazi could withstand, and will not update at all regularly. This is an ad-hoc fun experimental work with forced motives, plotholes, and static characters. Don't expect too much. That said, this mutated mistake of a short novella follows a ditzy MC who has been transported to a new world with the dubiously useful skills origin and enigma and the obnoxiously imbalanced skill, traveler. If you'd like more incentive to give it a shot, you will never get spoilers about the plot because there isn't one (Actual synopsis coming soon, relative to eternity)
