✌💸💸✌
My eyes fluttered open as I sat up the bright lights made me squint my eyes, a wave of pain hit me making me clutch my head "Uh, what happened?" I groaned
I heard rushing footsteps coming towards me "Girl, yoh finally awake" Rebecka's voice ran through the room
I swallowed noticing how dry my mouth was "G-get me s-s-ome wat-er"
Rebecka nodded leaving for a brief moment before returning with a water "Here" she handed me the cup
I took it damn there drinking it in one gulp. "What happened?" I asked
Rebecka sighed leaning against the chair "What do you remember?"
I narrowed my eyes "All I remember was walking into the lobby, pressing the elevator button waited, gave up went to the stairs started walking up them when I reached the third, saw some people eating each other's face off, got to the fourth Ri'Cilyn ugly ass almost hit me with the door, almost fell down to the stairs and past out. That's all I remember"
She nodded "Dere was some druugs in ya system that they flushed out. They said yoh slipped into a mini coma(). Girl you wa' suppose to be awoke like five days ago"
I scrunched my face up "How long was I sleep?"
"Uh-" Rebecka trailed off in thought "Almost three weeks now, today would count as a da third week"
I blinked twice slowly "Damn, it don't feel like I been sleep for three weeks"
She laughed shaking her head "Girl!" Rebecka squealed "Yoh not gon' kno' 'cuz yoh sleep"
I gave her a look of thought "Yeah you right"
The doctor walked in "Oh I see you're awake. How are you feeling?"

"Aight I guess. I kinda feel, ugh! Is that aight?" I asked
The doctor chuckled "It's normal to feel that way"
"When can I leave?" I asked
He tapped his fingers on the clipboard "Now actually, just let me go get the prescription for you"
I nodded as he walked away. Rebecka tossed me a bag full of clothes "Go change" She commanded
I nodded getting up going to the bathroom to change after carefully pulling out the cord's.

"Here you go, make sure you to the pharmacy to get the medication" The Doctor informed me
I nodded "Okay, well thank you Doc' have a better day"
He chuckled "Well do sweetheart"
I smiled walking away with Rebecka. I understand why he called me sweetheart, he is like 30 something.
"Are yoh getting in or waht?" Rebecka asked
I rolled my eyes before climbing in. Rebecka squealed before starting the car and driving off.
"I'm taking you to see Keyandra, Shawn & Dre" Rebecka told me
I gave her a funny look "I'm tired as fuck, Re just take me home" I dragged it the 'o'
She rolled her eyes "Nah girl, dhey been worried 'bout yoh"
I sighed "Re I'm tired as hell, just got out the hospital and I just wanna go home take a shower and eat"
Rebecka glanced at me "Aight, buh they were really worried 'bout yoh, like yoh have no idea"
I sunk in my seat "Well if it's that important, if they really was that worried then they can come to my house"
We pulled up to the complex, I climbed out walking to the entrance.
"I love yoh, be safe girl" Rebecka called out to me
"I love you too!" I yelled back
I pressed the elevator button, after a minute or two it came. I walked in pressing the fourth floor, there was a guy in the opposite side of me in the corner with a grey Nike sweater. I could feel his stare on me underneath of his hoodie. I smiled at him.

"Uhm, hello" I greeted
He glanced up I caught a glimpse of his smile and his grey eyes "Hi" The guys said back
The fourth floor came up and I walked out of the elevator.
"Babygirl yoh don' got no idea waht's comin' towards yoh" I heard him say faintly
I was gonna ask him what he talking 'bout but, the elevator doors closed. I walked to my apartment door. Locking the door behind myself, I threw my keys on the coffee table in the living room. As I take my jacket off my phone buzzed, indicating that I got a text instead of answering it I walked to my bathroom to take a shower.

The Thaumatist Incident
The towers fell over a century ago, and the Good King united the land. Under his voice the Thaumatists took the knee or took the sword. The University still stands, but for how long? This story is broken up into two parts. Chronologically, the two parts overlap. Part One Emile, a girl with a Talent not seen since the good king's war as she tries to find help to save her beloved father from a cruel accident. Julie, raised in a small farming village on her quest to become someone people will sing about. Part Two Wendel, a recent graduate of the University, an intense school that functions first as a police force to control the use of magic and secondly as an educational institution. Demetrius, a servant at the school who loses his home and his safety. Edits are ongoing. Reviews and comments will only help the editing the process, and I am grateful for any and all input. So, if you have been reading already, Jericho has been removed. It's been brought to my attention that his chapters detract from the flow of the narrative. They still exist, and are still going to be made available at some point in some way shape or form, but for the time being what happens with him and the king in Puissant city will be off camera so to speak.
