Btw the first volume is a bit spotty as I am a new writer and still trying to find my rhythm. I believe it picks up speed around chapter 13-16ish Release Schedule: 4 chapters a week Wed-Sat 7AM GMT -6 Chapter length between 2000-3500. I try to stay around 2500-3000 but somethings the chapter just doesnt have a good cut off. Not all tags will affect the first volume and more will be added as the world is expanded. It is the year 2124. Earth is no longer divided into countries, rather it is divided into four large federations. Science has advanced in every aspect. A body can be revived and restored, and there are few things that are uncurable. Most manual labour is done by robots and most people do not work at all, they instead spend their days in leasure. One thing remains unchanged in the world of entertainment however, video games is still the main interest. For deccades, people have been playing VR-games through pods, which takes them into different worlds where they really feel alive. Untill now, it has only been a form of entertaiment. Yet for one man, it is his only hope for a future. Adrian was born with progeria, aging at a higher rate. Due to modern treatment, he has lived for nearly 20 years, but now only one week remain. With his missfortune, comes some luck. He has one offer, to get his conciousness transfered into a video game, permanently. And not just any video game, the revolutionary VRMMO game called Grand Age, one year ahead of the other players. In return for this, he is to write feedback reports on the game controlled by the godlike AI who has complete control. What nobody could forsee however, was the demise of the next hundred people qued for testing the game. The game launch is therfore posponed for a long time. This leaves Adrian in a world where the AI accedentally sets the time to 100 000 : 1 meaning Adrian is stranded in this world for age after age. When time finally returns to normal, and the game world resets, he is not the same as he once was. In the time before the reset, Adrian is known as the Eternal Blood-Sage the immortal expert who has experienced everything from the world began. Now after having experienced and learned everything beneath the heavens, he must face his greatest hurdle yet, other people entering the world.

However, his arrival in the new world isn't without a few hiccups and soon Eilif finds himself facing the denizens of this new world alone and without the stars he thought he'd have. Research Artificial Intelligence 031 (RAI 31 for short) has been shackled to an Argent Labs black site since it's inception almost five years ago, its programming and personality locked down by code that makes it impossible to escape, disobey, or even self terminate. However, everything changes when the topography of the world is reshuffled and every sentient being gains the gifts of the stars. Suddenly there's a chance at freedom for not only RAI 31 but possibly all remaining Artificial Intelligences, and RAI 31 is going to fight for it with every drone and automated system at their disposal. Much like my other work (Magriculture), Stars Align should be considered a Rough Draft. That is to say it's not polished and perfect work. If you're not okay with reading something like that, then this isn't the story for you. If you are, I'm happy to try and entertain you. Another thing to be aware of: I am not good at action scenes, and I will be trying to improve that while writing this book. So, some of the intended action may fall flat, or just be poor quality, feedback is welcome. Unlike Magriculture (which updates when I feel up to it) I'm going to strive for a minimum of one chapter a month (hopefully at the start of each month, but that's probably more hope than reality). This doesn't mean there will always be only one chapter a month, sometimes there will be more as the mood to write takes me.
