《Elves Of Old Series : Unforeseen Events》Chapter 2 Pyrinthia

As I re-oriented myself, I looked out the cave and found myself looking out onto a field/meadow thing that was covered in wild flowers and in grass that was perfect to run in like in those romance stories. I inched out of the cave and into the sun. Suddenly I could hear the rhythmic best of horse hooves getting closer then all of a sudden I was surrounded by five men on perfectly white horses. Only the men's ears were pointy, like an elves from Lord of the rings. They had swords at there belts and bows strung across their backs and quivers full of arrows. One of the men got down from his horse and looked me up and down and said in a low rumble "I am Arramen Sherrefind, High Lord of the summer court, would you like some help young female?"
I was completely speechless he was way more handsome than Jack ever was. He was tall and had short blond hair, bright blue eyes and a soft tanned face. I felt as if I would melt as his feet. His clothes were simple yet regal in an old-fashioned way. Amazingly I found my voice and "I am Luna Ferradonna and I am hopelessly lost."
He gave me a gentle smile and said "Since it doesn't look like you have a place to stay, you could come to the Manor house and stay there"
I agreed and with one strong arm he picked me up like I weighed nothing and put me on his horse before swinging himself up. He turned and said "Hold tight, Its a long trip back to the Manor and we must get there soon" that was all the warning I got before we sped off with his guards right behind us.

We slowed as we approached a huge manor, it had ivy climbing up the wall and had a rose garden at the front. It looked like a house you would find in a fairy tale. We went straight to the stables and Arramen helped me off his horse and lead me inside. The front door was a huge oak wooden door with gold painted swirls on it. The hall had a high ceiling and had a massive crystal chandelier hanging in the middle. It's walls were an ivory colour and the floors were so polished I could almost see my face in it.
Suddenly in strolled a tall man, who also had pointy ears, he had soft chocolate coloured eyes to go with his short light brown hair. His clothes were very similar to Arramen's. "Greetings my lord, how was your hunt?" His eyes flicked to me, " who's the female? She smells of the mortal realm"
"This is Luna Ferradonna and I am letting her stay here" Arramen replied "This is my friend and second Farross Franchero the youngest son of the Lord of the spring cort"
Arramen clicked his fingers and said "This is Gredwin and Aryanna. They will tend to your every need" Out of the air came two pretty elvin women. I was so shell shocked that they were easily able to grab my hands and take me up the grand staircase I only just noted.
My room was huge. It had windows that went from floor to ceiling and they had red velvet curtains that when closed blocked out all the light. The bed was four poster and queen sized, the dressing table had a beautiful mirror and on it there were gold and silver intertwining shapes. I went into my on suite bathroom and washed. When I existed the bathroom one of the girls gave me a beautiful, long, simple silver dress. It felt like I was wrapped in silk.

I walked down the stairs and into the dinning room, Arramen and Farross were sitting at one end and talking quietly. When I walked in Arramen looked up and smiled. "Our guest has arrived, please sit and dig in Luna." When he said that a plate full of my favourite food appeared out of thin air in the space on the table in front of me. I did as I was told. The food tasted better in this land than it had ever had in 'the mortal realm' as Farross had put it.
"Where exactly am i ?" I asked timidly .
"Well-" Arramen started but Farross cut him off.
"You are in the dining room of High Lord Arramen Sherafind, in the Manor house, the Summer Court in the South of Pyrinthia." Farross said with a look that said 'isn't it obvious'. "Any other stupid questions Luna Ferradonna of the mortal realm?" I shook my head and ate the rest of dinner in silence. When it was over I left quickly and went straight to my room, where I got changed into pj's and got straight into bed. I was so tired from the day and I just wanted to go home.
At breakfast the next morning I was questioned by Arramen and Farross. Like how life was at home, my friends, my family, even questions like 'do you have a boyfriend?' And 'Are you still a virgin?' (Farross asked that one.)
After Arramen learnt I liked to read he took me to the Manor's huge library and said I could read whatever I wanted because neither he not Farross liked to read.
As the days turned into weeks I got into a rhythm. I would wake up, go to breakfast and talk to Arramen and Farross about anything, then I would go to the library, stay there until dinner, have dinner then go to bed. That was until this particular morning, when at breakfast Farross announced that there was a festival and was wondering if I was going. Turning to Arramen I asked "What festival?"
" The Fire Festival is when all the lords and their friends go to one court and party. It starts off formal but as everyone gets progressively more drunk it can get a bit....wild. This year the Summer Court is hosting. There will be music and drinks all night, and well if you don't want to be up all night you are welcome to join it the celebrations but just be either me or Farross so the other lords are not to aggressive towards you because you are a new face. "
"I'll go" i said quickly. It sounded fun.
"I get case introduce your self as Luna Ferradonna from the Summer Court"
"But I'm not from a court!" I protested
" You are now" Arramen stated, ending the conversation.
