I want to scream, I want to rip his arms from his body like a child with an old doll. But I want to let go, I want to let his hands grasp the air from my lungs and the blood from my veins and allow me to disappear into the beckoning arms in the sky. Everything is still but frantic, beads of dust floating softly under the florescent light. I imagine myself as that speck of dust, tiny and inconsequential, and beautifully calm; a particle hidden in shadows and revealed by sunshine.

My vision is a sea of black and white, flashing colors I cannot name and beams of light escape through the forest of my lashes, and I want to close my eyes. I want to sink into a lifeless ocean, falling like a sinking ship, without hope of resurfacing.

But in the back of my mind, I hear a voice, his voice. The song of his tone, the deep notes flowing like fingers at the end of a grand piano. The silk and lace of his voice pressing against my skin, a comfort like no other.

"I'm not going to let anything happen to you this time."

Why did he promise that? Why would be crucify himself with a covenant filled with uncertainties? Why did we have to live this life?

We were almost a family, I could have had my fantasy, the tall, dark haired father holding a ink-haired toddler, laughing, happy. Perfect.

But then I remember Titan's statement. Of the life living inside of me. The body of love growing day by day. My child.

If I let myself sink into death, I condemn my child. I will be punishing the innocence of those blue eyes, which never had a chance to look upon the world.

Goddess, give me strength.

A bright yellow light appears around me again, and a divine adrenaline fills my veins, pulsing to my slowing heart, and I take a gasp of air.

"No."

With a burst of strength, I rip apart the ties around my body, and I wrap my hand around Titan's that rests around my neck.

"What the-" He gasps, and his grip on my skin loosens enough for me to get away from his hold.

I am a ball of fire, my skin glowing with a golden shine.

"No." I whisper, and I advance on Titan.

"What are you?" He whispers, before his brow tightens and he advances as well.

He makes a swipe with his claws, his eyes full of rage and horror. But I dodge his strike, and I let out a beastly howl.

I let my claws come out, and my canines to emerge, and I jump.

I land on the ground with Titan, and we wrestle back and forth for control. He manages to land on top of me, and land a slash on my chest. I scream slightly, but I ignore the piercing pain and retaliate.

I latch my teeth onto his neck, my teeth sinking deep into his sweat covered skin. His howl is ear-shattering, and he grabs my hair, tearing me away from his body. He stands, holding me above him, the blood from my chest slowly dripping down onto his eyes, but he doesn't blink away from the crimson drops.

"Courageous, Alessandra. But foolish. I'm going to bury you alive."

I squirm against his hold, grabbing at my screaming hair. I swipe down at his face, but he just sets a triumphant and sadistic smirk on his lips. I want to tear them from his face.

"On the other hand, I do love a great soliloquy." He throws me to the ground, and settles on top of me, his arm pressed against my neck. He snaps a finger, and Benjamin and Tyler appear, and inject something else into my shoulder.

I feel as if my veins have been filled with metal, weighing my entire body down.

Somebody help me. Oh my god, please don't let me die.

"Dear Alessandra, would you like me to let you know what I plan to do to you?"

No, leave me alone, you fucking monster.

"I'll take that silence as a yes."

He trails a finger down my cheek and I want to bite his finger off his hand.

"You have your mother's eyes...those will have to go. Ah, and this soft skin, like a feather...I could peel it away from your bones and make a lovely piece of art. Just like your mother right?"

I hear a groan from a few feet away, and I see Octavius' head rising from his chest, his eyes filled with confusion and fear.

"Alessandra." He grumbles, loosely turning his head side-to-side.

"Oh look, love. We have a special guest audience."

"What the fuck- Alessandra!" Octavius is screaming, fighting against his restraints, and I can hear his skin sizzling like acid.

"As I was saying," Titan's fingers trace down my shoulder, leading down to my long fingers.

"These delicate and feminine hands, so perfect, so beautiful... They'd be delicious in a soup."

Bile rises in my throat and I don't have the ability to choke it down.

"And lastly," His hand moves down the center of my chest to my stomach. "This beautiful life growing inside of you, I'm going to cut you open, and rip it's lifeless form out of you, and drown the corpse."

There is a fierce tearing noise, and an inhuman roar erupts around the room. Titan's attention darts to Octavius' massive form, and he looks miles taller, his anger and rage erupting from his bones as his eyes blaze a brilliant, burning red.

With god-like strength, Octavius grabs Titan around the neck, yanking him off of me, but I still can't move, and I can only watch and listen to the scene in front of me.

"Octavius, son, please." Titan's whimpering desperation fills my ears, as I hear sickening crack after sickening crack.

"I'm going to break every fucking bone in your body. You are not my father. You are a soulless, pitiful, pathetic monster."

The weight from my bones is lessening, and I am finally able to lift my body up to a sitting position.

Octavius has Titan against a wall, and he is slamming the tyrant's body against the stones again and again. Blood is pouring from Titan's body, leaving stains against the black rocks.

"Please, please son, have mercy."

"You were wrong. Love is not a weakness, it is not a curse. I hold no drop of affection or compassion for you. I wish I could kill you everyday for the rest of your pitiful existence, I wish I could peel the skin from your scalp. I wish I could witness the fear in your eyes as I drown you into an ocean of fire. But I'll settle for this."

And Octavius takes Titan's head in his hands, and crushes it. His skull is a puzzle with a million pieces that do not match, and his body is as soulless as if ever was. Octavius stands over Titan's dead body, and his face is blank, no remorse or pity lingering. The only thing that leaves his mouth is a sigh of absolute relief.

At last, Titan, the monster that haunted Octavius' mind in every single moment, the beast that killed my mother, the tyrant with a frozen heart, is dead.
