Hi loves!
My fingers were practically itching to write today and so I did. Here I present to you a little something that came out of my brain. Let me know if i should start a new book with this story!
~ Dandelions ~
There are many reasons one would be startled enough to be awoken in the night. A nightmare, cold sweats, a blade to the throat? The last one isn't as common I would have to say but unfortunately it was the situation I was currently in.
Sigrid stood above me, the blade with her name carved on the hilt enclosed within her palm, right next to my neck.
"Behind my back huh? I hardly think that's right." I said, my voice rough and raspy from having just woken up.
"Oh darling, I think we crossed the line of what's right and wrong too long ago." She replied cleverly, a small smirk playing on her thin lips, the dimple she wore lightly showing. Her tall demeanor and short curly hair that fell perfectly to her shoulders, must be a sin to have such control over my body and mind.
Raising my eyebrow and slowly moving my palm towards her elbow I replied, "Still, I never thought you'd stoop this low."
A breathy chuckle left her mouth, the hot breath right next to my ear, sending shivers down my spine. I licked my lips, getting her attention right on them, watching as my tongue swiped over them. Taking this opportunity to grab her wrist and twist it to the other side I rose from the bed and pinned it behind her back. The blade fell onto the comforter with a soft thud and realisation struck her.
Sigrid struggled against my grip, trying to free her wrist from my hold.

"Next time you want to kill me, maybe try a different weapon." I whispered, guiding her out of my room. Noticing the open window in the passageway I led her to it to get her to leave the same way she had entered.
As I let her wrist go, she stepped outside onto the open balcony.
"Thanks for the tip." Sigrid said, blowing me a kiss before jumping out into the night.
Annoyed, I closed the glass and locked it for good measure. Sigrid was a rival, my mortal enemy, the bane of my existence, whatever you want to call it.... Although this wasn't always the case, I know now that love makes you do stupid things sometimes.
===== End =====
I hope you like this little excerpt of what ive been working on. Let me know if I should continue this story and turn it into a new book altogether!
Thankyou for 325k reads its honestly insane to even think about. I love you all so much.
p.s. Sigrid is based off a real charecter in my life, my first love to be exact :)
Thankyou,
