"Are you out of your mind?!" Mattheo exclaimed, looking at his wife.
"Everyone is dying because of me! I cannot sit here and live with myself knowing that im the reason they're dead!" Y/N Argued.
"Its not your fault! Everyone agreed to fight. They knew the consequences. They knew they could die." Mattheo fought.
"They are fighting for me! They are fighting because I'm too cowardly to face him on my own!" She cried.
Mattheo opened his mouth to reason with her before before he could utter a word, "She's right," George whispered tearfully. Every head turned to him, "We say we're doing this for Hogwarts but really its for her. So that she can protect her family. What about mine!? What about my brother?! Fred didn't die for nothing. He gave his life for us. For all of us and now its your responsibility to avenge him."
Y/N felt as if a dagger had been dug deep into her heart and as much as she wanted someone to stand up for her, to stand up for herself, she knew that george had only spoken the truth. The truth of what was going through eveyones mind but they were too polite to speak up, perhaps even afraid and that disgusted Y/N. That they could be afraid of her. She raised her arm again, pointing the wand towards it.
"What about the 3 horcruxes that are left? This is a sucicide mission!" Sirius bellowed, moving towards Y/N and moving her arm down.
"2" A soft fluttery voice came from behind them. Everyone turned to look at the new stanger as she stood there, the sword of gryffindor in one hand and the decapitated head of Barty Crouch Jr in the other, blood dripping from his neck, eyes rolled to the back, her dress somehow pristine white. Not a sound left anyones mouth as they stared in awe and maybe a hint of admirable fear.

"You're scary, Luna. Brilliant but scary." Ron said. Luna chuckled lightly before wiping the blood off the sword and handing it back to Mrs. Weasely.
"I thought it would be wise to work while you were mourning. I dont really do well with such situations ever since my mother died so I took the sword and went after Barty. He wasnt hard to find, you know cause hes kinda coocko." Luna explained while moving her finger in a circular motion near her temple.
"So then I used this sword, Its really sharp by the way, and just sliced his head off." She said as nonchalantly as if she were explaining a science project rather than a murder. The only way to descirbe the others expression would be speechless.
They stared at her for a full minute before Y/N decided to break the silence.
"Thank you Luna. It was really brave of you. As I was saying, Im going after Voldemort. I cannot stand here while others die. Besides, I think I can hold my own as you kill 2 people. George is right, I will avenge Fred."
Y/N gathered them all in a circle before going over the plan and making slight modifications as suggestions poured in. The plan was sure to work if everyone played their part properly. It was difficult but nothing could stop her anymore. She was dead set on her goal and she wouldn't return without the wilted body of her father in law.
Mattheo wanted to protest. He wanted to stop her from going and risking her life but he knew she had to do this. Even he couldn't change her mind when she was this stubborn. He knew she was more than capable of taking care of herself but she was the best thing that had ever happened to her. Y/N was his one ray of sunshine that he held onto. She pulled him out of the darkest part of his life and even the thought of losing her was unbearable.

He moved towards her, sliding his arm around her waist he peered down onto her face. She had cuts here and there and a few specks of dirt lining her cheeks. Y/N reached out to wipe the tears from the edge of her husbands eyes. They both stared at each other as if nothing else mattered and frankly in that moment it didn't. She stared at his face, memorising they way his hair fell just above his auburn eyes or the way his eyelashes curled upwards ever so slightly. Memorising every wrinkle, every scar and every line that marked his face. She wanted to engrave him in her brain, forever. Her eyes raked over every inch of skin before getting on her tiptoes and kissing him like it was the end of the world. He held her tighter, flush with his body as much as the baby bump would allow. Then he dropped to his knees and kissed his child what could well possibly be the last time.
Y/N bid everyone tearful goodbyes before pulling back her sleeve once again. "That bitch better be scared."
Folding it to shoulder length she dug the tip of her wand into the colossal skull engraved into her skin. A sharp scream of pain elicited itself from her mouth as she came to her knees. Sirius immediately rushed to her. He tried to remove the wand from her arm but she moved him away.
"NO! I CAN TAKE IT!" She screamed, doubling over in pain.
Mattheo watched from the corner, having experienced this pain every week when his father called him over. He felt horrible having to see her go through it too, but what choice did he have?
Y/N's eyes turned black, her wand getting quickly absorbed into her arm until there was nothing left anymore. Her veins blackened and wisps of smoke rose around her. She stopped screaming and stood up. A blinding white light glowed from within her and before anyone could open their eyes again, she was gone. On her way to kill only the most evil wizard of all time.

Domain of Man
Isolation is terrible. To feel isolated with your fellow man around you is worse. What if you were dumped in some backwards cave somewhere, completely nude, maybe with your family, or even completely alone? The age of pioneers, heroes, generals, and geniuses is long gone. Humankind has become numb to the world around it because of how paltry everything else is compared to the glory of its history, the sheer volume of their accomplishments, and the sum of its innovations. You can interact with people across the world, travel miles in mere hours, and never prepare your own food or shelter, and it's all accessible to even the normalest of individuals. Artificial intelligence is within arms reach in devices and computers and even houses, and neural interfaces aren't exclusive to the rich and powerful at this point. Someone far in the distance took notice of Earth, saw the multitude of hairless apes swarming its surface. That one went down the checklist to see if humanity had, in fact, beaten the 'game' of Life. Sure enough, they had gone above and beyond the requirements, but nobody had been watching. 'Why might that be?', that one wondered. Protocol was protocol, though, no matter how strange the situation was. They pulled the lever, they flipped the switch. It's time for New Game +. ??? Don't be afraid to leave critique or share your support! I really appreciate any feedback you can give. In any case, I sincerely hope you enjoy the story! It's going to be a wild ride. Saga of Fallen Kings, Book I: The Revenant Prince
The Philosopher King once conquered the known world, his power seemingly unlimited and his armies inexhaustible. Since that time his might has slowly unravelled, and his once steadfast empire has begun to crack, splinter and devour itself. In the isolated Southern Realms, where even magic has abandoned them, none of that matters. For years it has been filled with warring kingdoms, where as many kings die to the blade as to old age, and constant battles tear apart the land. When one such kingdom invades its old enemy, the King and his heir, Prince Caden, are killed. Unable to accept the loss of his family Prince Arian is broken, and when the Philosopher King stretches out his hand in aid, Arian takes it without a second thought. When Caden wakes from death, he's different. His eyes and soul have changed, and he finds a world filled with friends who no longer trust he's even human. Suddenly thrust onto the throne and indebted to the Philosopher King, Caden has no choice but to keep going - he must finish what his father started, and try to survive the machinations of the figure who now owns his fealty. Meanwhile something beyond death stirs for him, desiring nothing more than to drag him back into its embrace. Author's Note: This story used to be known as "A King of his Own", but after some consideration I have decided to rebrand it. The first reason is that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied with the title. The second is that I have come increasingly to view this story as a 'saga' containing multiple 'books' rather than one long, continuous publication, and as I did so I realized that as I was quickly getting to a point in the story where I wanted the first 'book' to end. This doesn't mean I'm going back on the things I said below - they're just going to continue in the next book of the Saga of Fallen Kings. :) Also, be aware that I do plan to edit this at some point. Though I take care to squash out any obvious errors when I proof-read, and do simple edits in that process, at some point I'm almost certainly going to do large edits that might significantly change parts of the story. Old author's notes: This started as a completely random writing session. There was no purpose or direction, but as I kept typing an entire world began to form in my mind that I knew I had to write about. My plan is to turn this story into a veritable medieval fantasy epic that spans an entire world, follows multiple character and storylines, and takes place over many years. The story has quite a grounded, almost 'realistic' start, but many more fantastical elements will be introduced, expanded upon and become central to the narrative. I have ideas for this story that make me genuinely excited and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy writing it, and join me on what will hopefully become a truly massive fantasy epic. If you do enjoy this story please consider following, rating and leaving a review. I'm also happy to answer any questions or comments you have.
