Trigger warnings : Gore and vomit.
~
"Let go!" Madam Hooch screamed, having got everyone off the bridge and now circling under Y/N.
Y/N did as told and just as the deatheaters were about to leap towards her, she let go. The bridge broke from under her feet as she brought back all the power into her, letting the cracks grow freely. The stone crumbled and so did the people on it, falling into the endless abyss under them, their last screams echoing into the universe forever.
With these people, Y/N felt herself fall as well. She lost her footing and tripped onto her side. She held onto the railings of the bridge, desperately waiting for all her power to come back so that she could fly away from harm.
She felt the wooden bar that she was holding onto crack, her grip loosening on it until, she fell.
Her body became numb as the power left a strain on her. Falling like a rag doll her arms flailed in front of her body. Her eyes closed as she lost consciousness. If one was to look at this scene in slow motion they would see the small pieces of stone crumbling and falling in a circle, some of their sharp edges illuminated. They would descend into the endless darkness below. The wood on the bridge catching on fire, a red backdrop, contrasting with the night sky. A few logs detaching and lighting up the path to death as they slipped to the ground. In the middle of all this would be the silhouette of Y/N's body, streaks of glowing power rushing back into her to keep her alive, her abdomen lifted to where the power was being absorbed. Small specks of black, indicating the fallen deatheaters and Madam Hooch circling under Y/N, hoping to catch her.
Y/N descended further and as she was about to cross the circle that the professor had formed she grabbed Y/N by the arm and pulled her onto the broom. They couldn't fly away until every last drop of her power had been reabsorbed.

"Cmon, Y/N, You can do this!" Madam Hooch reassured as she saw multiple big chunks of stone coming their way. As quickly as the lighting strikes the earth the matter flew back into her. Keeping and eye on the stone, the Professor became more pressed, urging Y/N to try harder. Dodging one of the stones the power warped itself from the other side, continuing to be reabsorbed.
Feeling a shadow being formed on them she looked above, a stone barely few inches from them, large enough to crush their bodies. The last streak of power flowed into Y/N just as Madam hooch dodged it with exceptional skill. Moving the broom in all different directions, avoiding all the stone that fell. The falling stone came in contact with the ground and shook the earth, nearly making them lose their balance before they flew to the roof the castle.
Once on top of the roof, Y/N rolled over from the boom, coughing her lungs out. All her strength regained as her eyes turned back to their regular blue and her hair returned to blonde. Mattheo rushed over to her before holding her in his arms, feverishly kissing the top of her head. She lay her head on his chest as he expressed how scared he was.
Rapid footsteps echoed in the destroyed halls of the castle as they ran through it. Reaching the moving staircases and taking in their state, they climbed carefully, fighting deatheaters standing along the way. Their long robes flapped around their ankles as their extended hands held their wands.
The staricases moved in all diffrent directions, breaking up some fights and forming new ones. Molly ran as fast as her feet could carry her given the oncoming obstacles. Coming to one of the last staircases it moved to join with another. She came face to face with a hooded deatheater. He took a step down towards her as Molly took one up. Almost circling eachother they switched positions, both wands at the ready.

He was first to break eye contact as his wand fired a green spell. The staircase saved her as It moved once more and the bolt whizzed past her. Turning her attention back to him she launched herself at his legs, sending them both tumbling down a series of stairs. She used her wand to tie his ankles together and stood as he struggled to do the same.
Leaving him there she continued upwards once again, rubbing the side of her back from the impact of the stairs. Not 4 steps later was another one standing in her way. She quickly climbed towards him before grabbing his wrist and twisting it, making him drop the wand over the railing. They heard a significant crunching sound as it hit the bottom of the staircase.
Deviod of his wand he tried to punch her instead. His fist came in contact with molly's nose as she felt it dislocate. A stream of blood immediately rushed down from her nostrils and onto her lips. The deatheater let out a small chuckle but it quickly faded away as molly kneed him in the groin, making him double over in pain whilst she twisted his wrist further.
Molly picked up her forgotten wand and tied his wrist to the railing of the staircase. He stood up soon enough and as he tried to lunge at her he was stopped with a burning pain in his wrist from the friction of the rope. Taking a minute to think he jumped onto the railing.
Mrs. Weasley tried to cross the stairs, to climb further to be able to make it to her son but each time she tried the deatheater blocked her way with a swift kick. After a few tries, she grew tired of his games and decided to push him over instead.
She used all her body weight to send him falling down. He was hanging on by his wrist, approximately 7 floors above the nearest landing. Molly's eyes found his hand and looking at it she realised the rope would cut through it. Her maternal side took over she leaned down, attempting to pull him up. She reached for his hand and held it as she pulled with all her might. A string of apologies and curses left his lips.
"It's okay, you're going to be fine." Molly reassured as she tried her hardest to calm him down. He begged her to pull him up but within seconds the rope burned through his flesh and his wrist detached from his body. An ear chilling scream elicited itself from his mouth as he fell to his death, the deacapitated wrist still attached to the dangling rope, the fingers entangled with Molly's.
With no time to waste molly freed her hand from his and clambered back on the other side of the stairs, her back against the railing. The sounds of his bone crunching echoed through the hall. Everyone stopped their fights almost immediately. A chill running down their spines.
Molly screwed her eyes shut as she heard it, her gut twisting and without a minute to spare she vomited, emptying the contents of her breakfast onto the stone stairs.
