"Lucius malfoy?" Y/N asked, not wanting to believe what she was hearing.
"Im sorry Y/N, but he's part of the most trusted circle of voldemort" Harry replied, regret evident on his face.
Y/N thought this over in her head, she had read about horcruxes but was silently praying that there would be a different way to get rid of them.
"H-How do we get rid of them?" Y/N asked softly, preparing herself for impact.
"We kill them" Harry said.
Y/N blinked back tears that had started forming in her eyes. She didnt want to kill anyone, but there was no choice. She had to protect hogwarts, she had to protect the wizarding world but that meant killing her own father. She gulped, swallowing the lump in her throat. Sure he hadnt been the best father in the world but she couldn't help but think of the pure moments she carried with herself. Moments of her whole family together, laughing as one of them helped the other to victory in board games. Moments on the beach, playing in the waves as her father sat her on his shoulders, walking in deeper. Moments where she fell asleep in his arms and he tucked her into bed with a poem. When did she lose all this? She had no choice and the clock was ticking. Her face settled from that of confusion to pure sadness as she spoke again.
"Then we don't have a choice. Do you have the sword of gryffindor?" She asked Harry, her voice craking. He told her its location and she almost immediately started forming a plan in her mind, pushing aside other thoughts.
"Im going to go get the sword and I need you to get Mattheo up here. There are 5 horcruxes, Mrs Weasley can take care of Bellatrix lestrange, Proffesor Mcgonagal gets Barty crouch Jr, Sirus and the Potters take care of petigrew, Mattheo gets Rudolpous and I, I'll take care of my father." She concluded with a hesitation at the end.
Harry nodded to the plan and tilted his broom to the ground, setting off to get Mattheo to the roof. Y/N held the dome together but now she had multiple more problems, each begging her attention. She felt a gust of air past her and looked to see Mattheo sitting on a broom beside harry, looking concerned.

"Whats wrong?" he asked
"I need you to hold this dome together and use your legillimens to inform eveyone! I have to go, Potter will fill you in with the rest!"
Y/N explained before retracting her hands from the shield which were almost immideately replaced with a spell from Mattheo's wand.
She flew away, after reciveing a reassuring nod from Mattheo. She threw her hands past her waist, propelling herself into the castle through the main door. The castle was almost empty except for some people on their side, hiding in plain sight. She flew up through the middle of all the moving staircases, leaving the portraits flabbergasted. She flew higher making her way towards the headmissteres office.
Y/N rounded the corridor to the golden gargoyle. As she walked towards it she found two people guarding it already. They were students. Children of deatheaters that had snuck aboard the train. She hid behind the wall, her back against it. Taking in a deep breath she moved towards them, power radiating in her palms.
They took notice of her and immediatly retrieved their wands to attack. She brough her hand up, lifting one of them in the air before throwing them against the wall, crushing bone and brick.
The other ran behind her and attempted holding her wrist behind her back. She threw her head back effectively hitting him in the face, bruising his nose.
Feeling a punch coming towards her from the left, she bent towards her right, The momentum of the punch making the thrower crash into her chest. She turned him around and held his arm, twisting it before kicking the back of his knee, making him effectievly fall onto the floor. Y/N bound him with her magic, his hands behind his back, his ankles tied together. She kicked his wand away from access.
"Stay down." She said.
Y/N whispered the password to the gargoyle who gladly jumped aside, providing her with access to the office. She sprinted up the stairs, two at a time before pushing open the door.
The office was filled with parchments that had messily scribbled maps and plans on them from this morning. She moved towards the desk and slid accross the top before kicking the chair aside. The portrait of dumbledore was hung behind it. This face, made from paint and fabic had never looked so full of emotion as it had when he was alive and well.

Y/N studied him a moment longer, recognising the emotion to be that of remorse or perhaps one of a warning. She ripped away the portrait at once, now staring at an empty sword shaped hole in the wall. In a split second someone hit the sword right next to her. Her eyes followed the sword and its path all the way to the person holding it. A deatheater with a mask on his face.
She dodged the next hit by moving behind the pillar, The one in black only followed. Y/N grabbed the railing of the stairs and jumped atop them. She climbed high enough, confusing the deather by standing right above him, to when she held the railing once again and swung herself with all her weight.
She kicked him right in the chest before landing onto her feet safely. The man fell onto his back, the sword clattering beside him, the red jewel shining brightly.
He scrambled back to his feet, picking up the sword. Y/N's eyes scanned the room and settled on a sword on the wall next to her and the fight began. She took a stab at him and he wrapped his arm around hers before pulling her towards him. She was facing the wall behind him, the hand bearing the sword flailing around his back, the rest of her body in front. She turned the sword around about to stab him in the back before he grabbed her shoulder, making her fall onto the floor.
He attempted to kick her face but she slid out from under him, standing up instead. His boot came in contact with the ground and she twisted his arm around. He took a step back, faltering for a second before turning his body out from under the arm silcing Y/N's thigh in process.
She hissed before pulling away both on opposite sides of the room. Black blood dripped onto the floor, the pain evident on her face. There was no time for first aid as the man took a swing at her again. Dark liquid dripping from the tip of the sword that bore gryffindor's name.
Y/N picked up her own, blocking the attack, the sharpness of their swords rubbing against eachother. He gave his a harsh push, making Y/N falter on her feet, taking multiple steps to regain her balance. She had had enough and decided to use her powers instead.
She summoned the power, making a ball with it just as the man striked again using it as a shield. He hit the dark matter forcing his sword deeper into it, attempting to reach the skin. She struggled for a second, coming to her knees holding the sword harder. Her eyes turned black again as she used all her effort to overthrow the sword.
A light smirk played at her lips as she lifted up the man into the air, his arms spread out as the sword dropped from his palm.
She skillfully moved her fingers, manipulating air and space around her. A black ring formed around the mans throat. His eyes went wide behind the mask, realising what was to come next.
"Y/N! PLEASE HAVE MERCY!" The man shouted making Y/N tilt her head. She had heard the voice before but wasnt able to purely pinpoint it.
She withdrew the circle around his neck, instead using it to lift the mask. Her breath ceased in her chest when she saw...

In contrast, virtual reality technology has led to an explosion of full immersion entertainment for the average consumer, and many people turned to VR for the thrill of spaceflight. One game, Parallax Gate, lets its players experience living in an interstellar civilization. For maximum realism, its developers created a world solely defined by the players' personal skills and ability.Mark Asami, a student of aerospace engineering at MIT, dreams of bringing spaceflight to the masses. To his disappointment, his first year courses barely relate to his interests, so he passes time as Aero Rayne in Parallax Gate with his roommate and their organization, the Temple Wraiths. Welcome to the world of Fantasiaia, a world full of magic, epic monsters, heroic battles and more! It's the new, cutting edge VRMMORPG world what everyone has dreamed about! And now welcome Markus Fickus, your average young man in our average and boring world! He was just an ordinary man, until one day, something changed his whole life. As he ate his breakfast on that fateful morning, little did he know that he would choke on his coffee and die—just to be reincarnated in the world of Fantasiaia! "Wait, what?" Mark said, looking up from his bowl of cereal. He didn't follow the script properly, and forgot to prepare his coffee. "I thought Fantasiaia was a VRMMO," Mark muttered as he made his way to his coffee machine. "How can someone reincarnate into a game?" Of course, what Mark didn't know was that logic and reason didn't matter. It was magic! Besides, everyone loves virtual reality stories and reincarnation novels. So why not have both? Mark shook his head sadly, but prepared his coffee in silence. When he finished, he looked up at the sky—and saw only the dull white ceiling of his apartment. He felt utterly cheated that the last thing he would see in this world was the peeling paint on the wall. "They are not paying me enough for this," Mark grumbled, then drank up his coffee. And then he died. PS: I found the cover picture on THE INTERNET. By no means will I tell you the artist's name or give any credit to them, but I let you know that the image is not mine. Dungeons and Adventurers.
Elier, this planet had a certain system to it, unlike the way other planets worked, where people earned money from either working for other people or creating valued papers for themselves. This world revolves around gaining a certain currency called E(Eliets), this worked as a currency for the planet Elier. This was a currency that could only be gained by slaying monsters in dungeons and trading their drop, loot whatever you want to call them for E in the dungeon centers. In this world however, there lies a system on the levels or ranks in each and every adventurer explorer. The levels are unlimited but there were only 10 ranks in each level. G,F,E,D,C,B,A,S,SS,SSS. TTWN: The Tale of Will Newbie
This series is inspired by the music of TheFatRat, please take a look if you don't know who he is here. Everyone wants to live in a fantasy world, right up until they have to face dark beings beyond their comprehension. Everyone wants to be a hero, right up until every day becomes a fight for their life. Sixteen-year-old introvert Will Newbie lives in a fantasy world. He's the hero of this story. He has been left with nothing; after a brief adventure in the mountains near his home, he returns to find his entire home missing, every person mysteriously vanishing into thin air. All that's left for him is his rather, "disembodied" older sister and the quest given to him by a rat-turned-god: Gather a team of Champions, fight back against the forces of Sin, and save the world. But if he's learned anything, it's that being a hero isn't as easy as it sounded in the books. So, he'll have to keep himself together, keep his team from tearing each other apart, and figure out just how much he's willing to sacrifice for what he believes in. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! This is my first fully written story, so I want to improve. Positive or negative, I'll take it into account! I will try to update weekly every Friday, but as I'm pretty new to this kinda grind expect some irregularities. The covers are also by moi, done in Pixel Studio. Quite proud of them, really.

Rooms of the Desolate
Rooms of the Desolate is a collection of short stories designed to guide the reader through the many rooms and mysteries of the bleak and greyscale labyrinth of the Desolate. The first entry, "The Forever Tower" follows an unnamed wanderer climbing an endless, colourless tower; the only world they have ever known. As they slowly ascend alongside the masses, they consider the nature of their world and look to the corridors as temptation beckons. The second entry, "Production Line", follows an engineer in a boundless factory, who encounters a product that does not wish to bow to the overseers and makes them question their belief in the truth and duties they were made to believe. Content guidelines: Current entries do not include explicit profanity, but future entries may do so, hence the presence of that tag. Some entries do include gore and violence, though not currently to particularly extreme degrees. The Desolate is exactly that: a desolate world; as such, it is bleak, downtrodden, and may deal with mental struggles. Cover art credit: Adam Borkowski on Pexels.
