Sudan is most famously know for the Nile River, the longest river in the world, but we are so much more than that:

-Our dominant religion is Islam, next is Christian and almost no Jews or Atheist. They're a rarity.

- We speak Arabic, but in everyday speech we use Sudanese slang, altering a few words and making light-hearted phrases to express humor.

Other than Arabic, we have English. Almost all the people in this generation talk at least a little bit of English

- Our culture is colourful and bright. We have our traditional wear, a tob, which is a long piece of designed clothe that a woman ties around her waist then over her head and finally, she throws the rest of the cloth over her shoulder. Our main foods are definitely ful- I think westerns call it beans, I'm not sure which type of beans though- and felafil (ta'miya)

- We enjoy celebration immensely. Our weddings and parties are huge. Like most Arabs, we are very social and look forward to meeting new people.

-No, we don't smell. Stop insinuating it.

-We are not terrorists. Our President is most famous for being an alleged terrorist and the reason for our corrupt government but that gives you no right to say my entire race are a big bunch of terrorists.

-We have technology. We have cars. We are modern, just like Egypt and Saudi Arabia, we don't live in the stone age

-For the most part, we don't tolerate revealing clothes.

YES THERE ARE BLACK SUDANESE PEOPLE.

YES THERE ARE WHITE SUDANESE PEOPLE.

YES THERE ARE MIXED SUDANESE PEOPLE.

YES, YES, YES.

-We have an independence day in which no one goes to school and no one goes to work- your typical national holiday.

-Okay, so like in America and such places: Yes, some parents are strict and some aren't. Personally, my parents get super mad if I'm out later than ten thirty but I also have classmates who's parents don't mind them coming home at seven in the morning

-Do our parents beat us? Again, it's with some parents. And it's not like they beat the living cap out of us or anything. More like a flick on the arm or a light slap on the back.

-People have asked about the protests that took place earlier in the year- i'tisam. No we didn't have an epic people-against-the-law fight. It was a three day period in which no one is to go to school or work to show resistance against our goverment and a silent demand for change.

-Egypt isn't the only country with Pyramids, dammit.

-There is little to no racism in Sudan because the most prominent race Is black.

And there you have it! Feel free to PM me anytime about anything and I'll be more than happy to answer.
