I wake up in the morning. I grab my teddy and head downstairs going only one step at a time and holding onto the railing tightly. When I get downstairs I see mommy and daddy talking to some other people with pink and brown hair, in the living room. The pink lady points to me.
"Marlee is up." The lady says. Daddy smiles and comes and picks me up. He brings me closer to the people and introduces them.
"That is Aunt Lizzie." Daddy says and points to the girl with pastel pink hair. "And that is Uncle Joel." Daddy points to the boy with brown hair like mine but darker.
"Hello." I say and smile at them.
"Hello! Aww she is so sweet." Lizzie says petting my crazy hair down.
"She sure is." Joel says smiling at me from the couch. Daddy hands me to Lizzie. I smile and giggle as Lizzie tickles my feet.
"Haha, stop, hahaha." I giggle. She stops and I smile at her and chew on my bunny. Lizzie hands me to mommy. Mommy sits me on her lap as she sits on the couch.
"Do you want to go get dressed with Aunt Lizzie?" Mommy asks and pulls my nightgown down just a little. I giggle and nod.
"Yes! Auntie Lizzie!" I yell and clap. Everyone laughs and Aunt Lizzie helps me off mommy's lap and holds my hand as we go up stairs to my room. Lizzie picks out a dress for me and helps me put it on. I do a twirl and giggle.
"You look like a real princess!" Lizzie says and I giggle clapping my hands. She grabs my hand and leads me to the bathroom where she puts my hair in a ponytail with a black bow.

"Beautiful!" Lizzie says kissing my cheek. I turn around and giggle and hug her. Lizzie picks me up and takes me downstairs to see mommy and daddy.
When we get downstairs mommy is talking to Uncle Joel and daddy isn't there. He must be using the bathroom.
"Hey where is Bobby?" Aunt Lizzie asks as we reach the bottom of the stairs.
"He had to go get something from the store." Mommy says and walks over to Aunt Lizzie and grabs me. "Look at my little princess." Mommy smiles at me. I giggle and kick my feet. Mommy laughs and puts me down. I run over to Dexter and play with him while Mommy, Uncle Joel, and Auntie Lizzie talk on the couch.
"Dexie!" I yell and pet him. He licks my face and I giggle. "Good puppy!" I yell and hug him around the neck.
I play with Dexter until the phone rings. I hear Mommy answer it and then she starts crying.
"I'll be right over." Mommy cries out. I walk over to her as she stands up.
"Mommy? What's wrong?" I ask.
"Nothing, stay here with Auntie Lizzie and Uncle Joel." Mommy says and kisses the top if my head. Auntie Lizzie picks me up. She carries me upstairs after mommy. Mommy leaves out the door towards the car. I watch her get in and leave.
"Mommy come back?" I ask Auntie Lizzie.
"Yes Mommy will be back." She says and kisses my forehead.
Uncle Joel, Auntie Lizzie and I all have a tea party in my room. When we finish we play princess.
I start getting hungry around dark time. I get scared that mommy and daddy are still not home. Auntie Lizzie is making some dinner while Uncle Joel is playing dolls with me.

The phone starts ringing and Auntie Lizzie goes to answer it.
"Lauren! Is Bobby Okay?" Auntie Lizzie asks.
"Alright, we have to go home so I'll take Marlee with us." Auntie Lizzie says.
"Okay, I wish you both the best. Good bye." Auntie Lizzie hangs up and comes over to me.
"Mommy and daddy won't be home tonight, you will go over to my house." Auntie Lizzie says pointing to herself. I nod and Auntie Lizzie picks me up taking me to my booster seat and letting me eat my dinner.
After dinner Uncle Joel helps me get my socks, shoes and coat as Auntie Lizzie packs my bags. Uncle Joel carries me to his car. He straps me in the backseat. Auntie Lizzie and Uncle Joel get in and we start driving and I start to drift off into a worry free slumber.

The Shadow Paradigm - Book 1: Project Orb Weaver

But when they encounter the mysterious Shiakar Paradigm Society, a clash of paradigms ensues. Although both groups are aiming to make humanity stand stronger, their ideals and methods could not be further apart. Between the trio's optimistic yet naive ideals, and the SPS's tried-and-true surgical methods, determining the answer which methods can better humanity is a struggle that both parties must resolve in their own ways... Welcome to the 7th revision of my 10+ years ongoing novel trilogy. This revision took out some flawed plot concepts to re-introduce a more down-to-earth, film noir-like ambience, where a battle of wits is what will determine the outcome. It also added instead more in-depth expansion into the lives and mindsets of the characters, especially the heroes (a missing factor in older versions). Third-view limited storytelling was also introduced more prominently over my favoured third-view omnipotent, with each chapters concentrating as much as possible on a single character's point of view instead of head-hopping. So I shall begin uploading the chapters as I finish them; they're edited as much as I can, but there'll most likely be some typos and mistakes. As always, I welcome your comments and critiques, and I hope you enjoy reading that story as much as I did creating it! A parting poem to introduce the story (translated from its original French version): Credit: Les Mots, Mylene Farmer & Seal Firmly, the sky writhes When a mouth begets a death There, I will give my life to hear you To tell you the most tender words When all becomes all alone I'll break my life for a song And to lives that stoop to notice mine I know I will say goodbye But a fraction of this life I would give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives You could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple If one swept the world away One could touch the universe I will tell you how the sun rose high We could with a word become one And for all those words that hurts us There are those that touches us Which illuminates, touches the infinity Even if nothingness exists For a fraction on this life We will give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives We could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple
