- Car Ride Home -
I was playing Flappy Bird on my phone while we drove home and then Jensen sent me a text that he would love to see me again. I smiled and sent him a text that I would like that very much. Jared asked, "Does someone have a crush on Jensen?"
I laughed and said, "Maybe, but it doesn't matter. He's a lot older than me. Plus I'm his best friend's daughter. It wouldn't work anyways. Anyways, when will we be home because I am tired and hungry."
He said, "Okay so three things. One you never know with Jensen. Two just let me know if you do start dating him so I don't kill him. Three are you sure you aren't related to me? You ate almost all the candy in my trailer. You shouldn't be hungry yet, but you are. I do the same thing."
I rolled my eyes before he poked me and then we stopped at McDonald's and he got me a Shamrock Shake (A/N: I love McDonald's Shamrock Shakes in March.) before we made it home. Then I walked inside and went up to my room before taking a shower.
- 15 Minutes Later -
I walked downstairs in my Pikachu onesie and my hair in a messy bun on the top of my head to see Jensen and Misha in the living room with Jared and Gen before Thomas and Shepherd ran up to me yelling, "ALLY!!!"
I hugged them and then I followed them into their playroom to see 2 other kids there. A girl and a boy who were playing with the blocks. I smiled and then Thomas said, "This is my big sister, Allison. Allison, meet our friends Justice and West. Uncle Misha is West's daddy and Uncle Jensen is Justice's daddy."

I nodded and then I smiled at them before I went and sat on the couch beside Jared and Misha said, "Hey Allison."
I looked at him and raised an eyebrow before I said, "Never knew that you and Jensen had kids or a kid."
Then Jensen said, "Yeah. Umm.... we both have kids. Well I have a daughter and he has a son."
Then I nodded before my phone rung and it was my friend, Carlos. I asked, "Hello? Carlos?"
He said, "Hey Ally. Just wanted to call and check on yo to see how you're doing."
I said, "I'm good. I got adopted finally."
He said, "That's good. I have to go, but I was just calling to check up on you. Bye Ally."
I said, "Bye Carlos."

Steps of the Immortal Tree
Evan stood on a hill, staring calmly at the gate of his former clan. A crowd waited behind him, some eyeing the clan in an unresigned manner, others looking at their spiritual support. Some of the young children shivered at the gnawing cold. Wind howled in his ears, seemingly deploring his fate. A silvery cloud drifted over the mountains surrounding the compound. The roar of a river could be heard from underneath its frozen surface. He had reincarnated many years ago. Hailed as a prodigy from his youngest age, Evan had seemingly tread on a path to invincibility. He had gotten married with his childhood sweetheart and had cultivated with a group of friends, forming a considerable power of his own. Yet now, here he was, devoid of any path to move forward, with his energy locus destroyed. His wife was dead and his branch had been kicked out of the clan. He looked at his progeny that had been entrusted to him. The baby seemed content in his father’s strong arms, too young to understand anything but the warmth of the father’s beating heart. Signaling to the people behind him, he turned around and the procession gradually disappeared in the distance, as the sun gradually set and the stars acted as a guide. --- Author-san here. I originally started this novel on another account, but lost the login information for it, so I'll be restarting this story here. Thanks for understanding! This is my first fiction, so I appreciate any and all feedback! (^^) The cover picture is by Yuji Himukai (as pointed out by Truis). I found it on the internet. Please contact me if you want to have it taken down. If anyone is interested in drawing a cover, send it to me. I'll put it up if I feel it represents the book well, with your name in the credits.
