Jared let out a heavy sigh as he fell back onto his couch after a long day filming. He quickly pulled out his phone and quickly video chatted Kelsey. It felt like ages as he waited to see her face pop up on the screen. He couldn't help but smile as Kelsey answered. Kelsey smiled and said," Let me get the kids. They're all making s'mores in the backyard. I had to go foraging for some marshmallows. How was filming today?" Jared rolled his eyes as he thought about filming today. It had been a day full of vampire scenes. He rubbed a hand down his face as he said," It sucked but my day is definitely better now. I'm looking at one hot mama!" Kelsey blushed as she sat at the kitchen table. She smiled as one hand instinctively went to her nineteen week baby bump. She gently rubbed her belly as she said," Oh shut up. I haven't had to even try to put on some makeup today. I know I look like a mess. Odette was attached to my leg today. Shep and Tom have been team terror all day, I haven't seen so much mud before in my life. And poor Noah, his uncle Dom took him camping and he broke his wrist mountain biking. They're on their way home now. Luckily Daneel brought JJ over and we ordered pizza, so now I can put my new kankles up." Jared chuckled as Jensen walked in with Chinese take out and plopped down beside Jared. Jensen smirked and said,"Hey Kels!" Jared punched his shoulder as Kelsey gave him a quick hello. Jared stood and walked to the kitchen and as she said," Well enough of my complaining. I give the kids the phone so you guys can talk." Jared just nodded as Kelsey slowly got up and headed outside. She handed the phone to the kids and they all crowded around it, talking to their dad and in JJ's case her uncle. Kelsey sat down with Daneel, as she rubbed her belly. Kelsey frowned as she closed her eyes, feeling a dizzy spell coming. She rolled her eyes as she figured her sugar was low. She shrugged it off as she quickly stood back up and walked back to the fire with the kids, ready to make her a smore.

The next morning Noah woke up to being shook by little Odette. He smiled at her and sat up as he said," You're up early." Odette just nodded as she pulled herself up on the bed. Noah stretched his arms out as Odette said," I tried waking Ms. Kelsey but she wouldn't wake up." Noah's eye grew as he quickly ran down the hall to her room. His Aunt had always been a light sleeper, why didn't she wake up. Noah quickly opened the door and saw her laying on her side and eyes closed. He gently shook, only for her eyes to slightly twitch. He began yelling," Aunty! Aunty, wake up. Come on, wake up!" He pulled back the covers hopefully to help her wake up, nothing. He pulled the phone from his pocket and quickly dialled 911. He turned to find all three Padalecki kids curiously watching. He blinked away tears as he said," Shep, take Tom and Odette downstairs and call Aunt Daneel. Her number's on the fridge. Tell her Kelsey's really sick and that I'm calling an ambulance for her now!" Shep quickly took charge and dragged his siblings downstairs and grabbed the house phone. He kept talking to the 911 operator as he kept shaking his Aunt. Wanting and praying she'd wake up. It wasn't long before Daneel got there with the Ambulance in tow. Daneel ran up the stairs with the paramedics following behind her. Daneel quickly ran into Kelsey's room, finding a sobbing Noah shaking Kelsey screaming for her to wake up. Daneel pulled Noah from Kelsey as the paramedics went to work. Daneel pulled out her phone and called Jared.

Daneel sat with Noah in the waiting room at the hospital. After calling Jared, Jared had called his mom and in the matter of minutes she came and grabbed the kids. Daneel rubbed a hand up and down Noah's back as a man in in a white lab coat came out and said,"Saddler Family?" Noah and Daneel stood up and practically ran to him. He gave them a reassuring smile and said,"She and the baby are perfectly fine. Basically her sugar bottomed out. Her insulin pump malfunctioned during the night, and didn't give her what she needed so went into a diabetic coma. I want to keep her asleep for the the next couple hours, make sure everything's okay, then keep her for a few day to monitor her blood sugar. I'll have someone come get you when they have her settled in her room." Daneel nodded and reaches to shake his hand. He nodded back and gave her hand a firm shake as she said a quick thank you. Daneel and Noah walked back over to their chairs and sat down. Daneel frowned and said," I didn't know she was diabetic." Noah nodded as he finally let the tears fall again. Daneel noticed and said," We just got good news. Why are you upset?" Noah wiped at his cheeks as he stood and began pacing. Noah looked up to the at the ugly white ceiling tiles as he said,"I thought she was dead. I thought I lost my mom and my aunt the only family I had left. I'm too young for this. I'm supposed to be at my home with my mom and my dad but you know what?! My dad walked out on my mom when I was barely two weeks old and my mom worked hard so her sister who she raised, could be an amazing doctor. Look where we are now! My mom's dead and my Aunty is upstairs in a diabetic coma. I'm supposed to be partying and having the time of my life but instead here I am mourning over my life!" Noah didn't notice the other people watch him as he screamed and ranted. Daneel's eyes were wide as he fell back into the chair beside her. Noah had been holding back for long while.

Kelsey woke up to the sound of a steady beeping of a heart monitor and the smell of antiseptic. She opened her eyes only to be welcomed a dark room. She slowly sat up and noticed someone holding her hand. She looked over to find Jared asleep in the uncomfortable chair beside the bed. She frowned as she looked down at her growing bump and sighed in relief. She still had her baby. Her attention was drawn to a nurse quietly ducking in. She smiled as she saw Kelsey was awake. She walked over and began checking her vitals. She looked over to Jared and said," He hasn't left your side since he got here." Kelsey smiled as she rubbed her little baby bump. Kelsey looked up to the nurse and said," What happened? Is the baby okay?" The smiled and sat on the side of the bed with her. The nurse slightly pulled at her hospital gown and showed her, her new insulin pum. She pointed to it slightly and said," You and the baby are just fine. In the middle of the night your insulin pump basically malfunctioned. It didn't give at least two or more doses you needed so body went into a diabetic coma. Your nephew tried to wake you and called 911. Luckily you were brought to the hospital just in time and you've been asleep for almost three days." Kelsey's eyes grew as she looked over to Jared. He hasn't left that chair for three days. Kelsey squeezed his hand as the nurse stood up. Jared stirred lightly and looked up as the nurse quietly left. Jared couldn't help but smile as he saw that Kelsey was awake. He lifted the hand he was holding and gently kissed it. Kelsey smiled as Jared said," You can't scare me like that anymore. We were all so worried." Kelsey nodded as she gently tugged his hand. He stood and sat on the side of the bed as Kelsey wrapped her arms around his middle. Jared chuckled slightly and wrapped his arms around her. Kelsey breathed in his scent as Jared rubbed his hand up and down her slender back. Jared sighed and said," I want you to come to Canada with me. Me and Jensen stay in this huge house. I'll get the boys a tutor to homeschool them and if Noah wants to come, he can. I know all his friends are here. I just want you near, incase something like this happens again." Kelsey pulled away and smiled at him. Kelsey shrugged slightly before running fingers, in patterns down his back. She bit her lip and said," I don't know. I'll sit down and talk with Noah about it. Speaking of my nephew, is he okay? The nurse said he's the one who found me." Jared frowned as he looked into her deep brown, espresso eyes. He new she would be a good mother, she always put everyone's needs in front of her own. Jared licked his lips before he said," He's okay now. He freaked out at first. He told Daneel he thought you were dead." Kelsey's eyes watered as she thought of her nephew trying to shake her awake, thinking she was dead. Jared pulled her back to him and wrapped his arms around her. Kelsey finally let the tears falls as she said,"That kid's never gonna get a break and it's all my fault. And don't even try to tell me different, Jared." Jared just nodded as he kissed her temple.

Jared helped Kelsey from the car as they arrived back at the Padalecki house. Kelsey smiled as she gladly took his arm. Tom, Shep, and Odette ran from the front door to greet Kelsey. Kelsey smiled as they all stopped in front of her almost afraid to hug her. Kelsey let go of Jared's arm and bent over with her arms open. She smiled from ear to ear as they gave her a group hug. Jared smiled and secretly snapped a photo before they all pulled away. Noah hesitantly came outside and smiled lightly as he saw his Aunty. He slowly walked over as Jared helped Kelsey upright. Kelsey looked up to find Noah standing hesitantly in front of her. Kelsey waved him over and immediately brought him in for a hug. Noah began sobbing and wrapped his arms as tight as he could around his Aunt's baby bump. Kelsey rubbed a hand up and down his back. She kissed his cheek and said," I'm so sorry, Noah. But I'm alright, you ain't getting rid of that easy." She heard a slight chuckle from him before he pulled away. Noah wrapped his arm around her waist and helped her inside. Kelsey was immediately told to sit in the couch and relax. She couldn't but look around the living to room to find toys spread across the living. She watched as Jared, the kids and Noah went to the kitchen, to fix dinner. She slowly got up and began slowly picking up the living room putting the toys in the nearby basket. She nearly had the living room finished when Jared came from the kitchen holding a big glass of iced tea. Jared just shook his head as he said," Now, didn't I tell you to relax and watch TV." Kelsey just playfully shrugged as she threw the last stuffed animal in the basket as she stood up straight. She smirked and said,"Relax is not a word in my mental vocabulary. I'm fine. I've got a fancy new insulin pump and you made me stay an extra day in the hospital. I'm fine. So please just let me do my job." Jared just nodded before he handed her the tea glass. He looked around to make sure the coast was clear before he place a chaste kiss on her lips. He smiled and said," Fine. Were still treating her like a queen this evening, so sit on the couch and put your feet up. I'm gonna order pizza and then were all gonna watch movies." He moved closer and whispered," And later when the kids are in bed, were gonna going to your bedroom and I'm gonna devour them pretty lips of yours and that pint of strawberry sorbet in the freezer." Kelsey blushed and slapped his chest as he strutted back to the kitchen with an devilish smirk.

Jared put the kids to bed as Kelsey and Noah talked on the couch. Kelsey pulled his hand into hers and said," Jared wants us to move into his and Jensen's house in Vancouver while he's filming. He wants us close so that way if something does happen again he'll be close and he'll be there for his kids. I know you start school soon and Jared has offered to get you home school teacher or we can enroll in school there. But it's your choice. If you want to stay, I've talked with your Uncle Dom and he'd be glad for you to hang out with him and Jared's offered anytime you want to come visit on weekends he'll be glad to accommodate. What do you think?" Noah frowned as he went into deep thought. Kelsey couldn't help but smile as she saw so much of her sister in her nephew. The way their eyebrows scrunched as they were deep in thought. Noah nodded and said,"I'm gonna stay here with Uncle Dom. It's been cool hanging out with him again and I don't want to leave my friends. Just promise we'll facetime every day, I gotta make sure my little cousin ain't causing any trouble." Kelsey smiled as Noah stood up. He stretched and said,"I'm gonna head on up to bed so you and Jared can make out and all that gross stuff." Kelsey was in shock. All she could think was, how did he know. Noah laughed at her confused face and said," I may only be fifteen but I ain't stupid. I'm just glad you're finally happy." He gently kissed her cheek and headed up the stairs passing Jared as he went. Jared pointed towards the kitchen and said," I'll grab the sorbet of you wanna meet me on the back porch." Kelsey nodded as she grabbed a nearby blanket and headed out towards the back porch. She smiled as she saw the fire pit lit and a blanket laid out on the grass by the fire. Kelsey sat on the blanket as Jared came out with two bowls and spoons. He sat beside her and handed her a bowl. They both quickly ate the sweet treat before Jared pulled her to his chest and held her close. Kelsey wrapped her arms around his knees and gently rubbed her thumbs across the top of his knee caps. Kelsey frowned slightly and said," Noah decided he's going to stay and visit when he can. He also threw in that he knows about us." Jared's nodded as he played with the hem of her shirt. Jared kissed her temple as he moved his hands to her hair, playing with the loose curls. He smiled and said," What are we? Other than you being my beautifully pregnant Nanny and I being insanely handsome boss." Kelsey laughed as she turned in his arms and looked into his hazel eyes. Kelsey rubbed a thumb across his smooth, freshly shaven face. She shrugged and said," Honestly I don't know. Are you ready for a relationship?" Jared smirked as he gently cupped her cheek into his hand and caressed her cheek bone. He nodded and said," If you asked a few weeks ago right before I left I probably would've said no. But right here in this backyard I had a heart to heart with Gen. And I kept asking if it was wrong to feel what I feeling but a beautiful star fell and gave me my answer. I'm ready and I wouldn't want to be with anyone else but you. What do you say, you wanna be my woman?" Kelsey couldn't help but giggle before she pulled him in for a passionate kiss. The kiss quickly grew as they fell back on the blanket, intertwining each other's tongues. He ran a hand up her thigh before she quickly pulled away. Jared gave her an odd look before placed both her hands on her belly. Tears came to Kelsey's eyes as she said,"The baby's kicking." Jared smiled as she quickly took one his hands and placed it right under her belly button. He smiled as he felt a light kick to his palms. Kelsey looked to Jared and said,"I think the baby says yes too." Jared chuckled before pulling her into another kiss as he caressed her growing belly. Jared was falling fast there was no doubt about it.
