Kelsey kissed Noah's cheek before she said,"Okay, I'm off to group. Are you sure you don't want to come with me?" Noah just shook his head as he stared at the tv. She sighed as she gently ran a gentle hand through his hair before kissing the top of his head. Kelsey blinked back tears and said," I know you're sad, I am too. But we still have eachother. I love you, Noah." Noah didn't say anything but quickly placed quick kiss to her cheek and brought her in for a hug. Kelsey let out a slight sigh of relief as she felt him relax in her arms. Noah pulled away to look down at his sweet but short Aunt as he softly said," I'll go but I don't wanna talk." Kelsey just nodded as she pulled away and kissed his forehead again. Noah playfully wiped it away as he followed his Aunt out of the apartment.

Jared quietly talked with some other members of grief group as they all heard the door close. They all looked over and found and a teenage boy walk in beside her. The boy was practically glued to the woman's hip. Father Micheal, the group leader, quickly walked over and shook their hands. Soon the group sat in a small circle. The only two chairs left were were beside Jared, Kelsey and Noah quickly sat down. Jared sadly smiled and started," Hi my name is Jared. I lost my wife almost two years ago. Our children are growing up nice and strong. My daughter, Odette, looks just like her. My two sons Tom and Shep are growing like weeds. Shep asks daily to look at picture of his mother so he won't forget what she looks like. But we're all doing good." The group clapped as they began to go around the circle. Finally it was time for Kelsey to speak. Noah grabbed her hand as she cleared her throat. Kelsey sniffled as she said," I'm Kelsey and this is my nephew, Noah. We lost my sister, Jennifer, almost a month ago. My sister practically raised me. Our mother overdosed when Jenny was 18 and I was 9. She worked two to three jobs just to keep us fed and in a small one bedroom apartment. She was amazing at everything she did. She was always my rock and my best friend. But I may have lost her but I gained a big piece of her." Noah sadly smiled up at her as Kelsey wiped her eyes. Noah sqeezed her hand as the priest read few passages out the bible. Soon the meeting was over and Jared had this overwhelming feeling to talk to Noah and Kelsey. Jared walked over to them as Kelsey searched for her car keys in her purse. Jared cleared his throat and said," Ms. Kelsey, Noah. I'm Jared Padelecki, I'm very sorry for your loss." Kelsey looked up at the very tall man and gave him a slight smile. She stood, and held out her hand for him shake. He couldn't help but inwardly chuckle about her height compared to his, she couldn't but five feet tall. He gently shook her hand before turning to Noah. He gave him a slight smile and said,"You ok, bud? I know it can be hard." Noah didn't really answer he just shrugged as he nervously twitched in his chair. Kelsey saw the 'help me' look in his dark brown eyes, so she quickly came to his rescue. Kelsey ran a hand through his growing hair and said," He's doing better. We're both dealing with something that we thought wouldn't come so soon. But we have a great support system, eachother." Jared nodded with a small smile as he dug in his pocket. He pulled out wallet and looked through it. He found a his therapist's business card and said," I know you barely know me but I've been seeing this guy for over five years. He's a good guy and a great therapist. Here's his card." Jared handed her the card and she gratefully took the card. She looked it over and bent over and put it in the front pocket of her purse. She lightly chuckled and said," If I don't put it away know I'll lose it. If my head wasn't attached, I'd lose it too." Noah scoffed lightly before letting out small giggle. Both Kelsey and Jared looked down at him as he said," Ain't that the truth." Kelsey playfully scolded him and Jared let out a hearty laugh.

Jared walked Kelsey and Noah to their car as she still searched for her car keys. Noah walked ahead of them and ran to where to the car. Kelsey finally pulled out her car keys with a victorious laugh. Jared couldn't help but chuckle as Noah said,"Aunt Kelsey! Someone's broke in the car." Kelsey ran to the car to find the window shattered and the radio and few other things missing. She groaned as Jared ran over. Before Jared was at her side Kelsey punched the car door, imediatly regretting the decision. Kelsey cussed under her breath as Jared approached her. Noah quickly pulled him away from her and softly said,"Don't get near her when she's pissed. Let her ride out her ride it out." Kelsey held her hand to her chest as she looked at the car. Kelsey dropped her purse as she said," Just what I freakin' needed. As if this month couldn't get any better. I lose my sister, I get laid off, now I have to deal with this hunk of junk!" Kelsey kicked the front wheel before walking off down the parking lot. Jared pulled out his truck keys and handed them to Noah. He smirked and said," Go hop in my truck. We'll be right back and we'll call the police." Noah just nodded and took his keys. Jared picked up Kelsey's purse and ran after her. He found her sitting on nearby bus bench with head in her hands. Jared sat beside her and said,"I know it seems bad now but it gets better. I promise." He hesitantly placed a hand on her back and gently rubbed circles. Kelsey sat up as she wiped her cheeks. She sniffled as she said,"My sister was so much stronger than me. She survived through my mother's death. Raised me and raised a baby. If she walked out and found her car like that she'd shrug her shoulders and move on. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I was barely able to pay for Noah's schooling this month and Without my job I don't know how we're gonna eat or stay in the apartment." Jared nodded as thought of what he could do. Jared cleared his throat and said," What do you do? Maybe I can help." Kelsey just chuckled lightly as wiped her face. Jared looked at her like she was crying. One minute she's crying the next she was laughing. Kelsey smiled at him and ssid," You've known me for an hour and you've already offered to help me." Jared just shrugged as he removed his hand from her back. Kelsey sat up straighter as she continued," I'm a nanny. I know what your thinking probably after punching my car and my temper tantrum I'd be a terrible nanny but It's been building up over the last month. I just hate Noah witnessed it all." Jared eyes grew with realization as he stood. He smiled and said," After we call the police about your car, I'll take the two of you home."

Jared pulled into a small apartment building parking lot. Kelsey handed Noah the house keys and he quickly hopped out ran inside. Kelsey couldn't help but giggle as he ran off. Kelsey smiled and said," I just wanted to say thank you again. There's not that many people out there that would've cared enough to calm me down and take care of me." Jared just shrugged as he gripped the steering wheel tighter. Kelsey picked up her purse from the floor board as Jared said,"Tomorrow at ten, I want to you to be at the diner across the street for a nanny interview with my friend. I'll be with him, so don't be nervous." She teared up as she pulled him in for a huge hug. Jared went stiff as her arms wrapped around him. He awkwardly patted her back as she pulled away. You smiled and said,"Thank you so much. I owe you my life. The world needs more people like you." Kelsey quickly hopped out from the truck and said a quick 'goodbye', making Jared chuckle. Kelsey quickly ran inside to print out a new resume and pick out her outfit.

Jensen and Jared sat across from one another as Jared listed the questions he needed to ask from a notebook in his hand. Jensen just took the notebook and laughed as Jared gave him his classic 'bitch face'. Jensen waved him off and saif," You've already read these to me twice. I can read from the notebook. I really hope she's good and this is not one of those situations somebody took pitty on the wrong person." Jared just nodded as the bell above the door rang. Jared looked to see Kelsey in a pair burgundy slacks and a tucked in a white button down with a gray cardigan. Jared waved at her as they met eyes. She smiled as she walked towards their booth. Jensen quickly stood as she approached, getting into his role as a parent needing a nanny. Jensen held out his hand and said," Jensen Ackles. You must be Ms. Saddler." Kelsey quickly nodded and shook his hand. They pulled their hands away as she said," Yes sir. It's nice to meet you Mr. Ackles." Jared scooted over in his side of booth as Jensen motioned her to sit down. Kelsey quickly sat down as a waitress came to the table. Jensen ordered two black coffee's as Kelsey got a simple glass of water. Jensen opened the notebook and said,"Let's get down to business. Do you have a resume?" Kelsey quickly opened up her bright pink folder. Kelsey pulled out piece of paper handed it across the table. She watched as his eyes scanned the paper as he nodded. Jensen smiled as he closed the notebook with all of Jared's questions. Jared's eyes grew slightly, he knew she should've asked Daneel instead. Jensen smiled as he said,"How many kids have you worked with at once." Kelsey smiled as she thought back to her daycare days. Kelsey took a sip of her water before she said," When I first graduated I worked at a daycare in Dallas I worked with at least twenty kids at the time but most recently I worked with the Grahm family and they had five kids." Jensen nodded as looked at her resume. Jensen took a sip of coffee then said," You went to Houston University where you graduated with a PHD in psychology. You're a doctor but you choose to be a nanny, why?" Kelsey's smile grew before opening her purse. Jared watched her open up her wallet and pull out a picture of a little girl. Kelsey handed Jensen the picture and said," That was my first patient, Bella. I majored in child psychology so during my residency I was put with most of the children. Bella had bipolar disorder, she needed someone with her all day everyday to help her deal with her anger. On my days off I stayed with her while her father worked." Kelsey's smile slowly went away as continued," Their religion kept her from getting the medications she needed. She committed suicide and from then I decided if I was going to help kids I was going to be with them all the time I can be and help anyway I can. Because Bella and every single child should have the best care they can recieve." Jensen smiled as he looked across to Jared. Jared nodded with a small smile. Jensen's smiled grew bigger as he asked," Are you willing to be a live in nanny? Jared already explained to me that your nephew lives with you." Kelsey quickly nodded and before she could could say anything Jensen smiled even bigger and said," Ms. Saddler, you are officially the Padelecki family nanny." Kelsey got up to shake Jensen's hand but the words 'Padelecki family' echoed through her mind. She turned towards Jared to find him with a smirk on his face. She pulled him into hug, making him and Jensen laugh. As she pulled away she smacked his shoulder and silently scolded him. Jared grabbed his shoulder as she said," You lied to me, you little weasel. Oh, I didn't hit you that hard put your hand down." Jensen couldn't help but laugh at the two. They were gonna work together just fine.
