Mike quickly swivels around.
"Oh god.." He begins to get flustered and I awkwardly leave the room.
"Sorry!" I yell from the other side of the door.
He throws on a shirt and lets me in.
"No worries. I mean at least it was shirtless instead of anything else right?"
We both giggle for a while.
"Billy kind of kicked me and Max out for the day since he has some date.."
"Great! Well not great but kind of. Means we can spend it together right?"
"My thoughts exactly Wheeler."
"Why don't we go out to the mall?"
"Yeah! We can invite the others too."
I do feel quite bad for turning down Max's offer to go with Mike.. I wish I could just call her and tell her to come with us.. but god knows where she is by now.
Mike rings up Will, Lucas and Dustin and I explore his room. I haven't really seen it much. There's a bunch of comics and d&d shit that I don't understand. He has like 5 different boards and loads of different campaigns he's written.
"Okay everyone's on their way now."
"Nice. Let's go."
"Do you wanna leave your board here and hop on my bike?"
"Sure."
I leave my board in Mike's wardrobe. Hidden as it's my prized possession.
I then get on behind him and grip onto his back. I squeeze him tighter every time he whizzes round a sharp corner.
"Your gonna choke me if you carry on!" He teases.
"Sorry! I feel kinda sick when you go round all these corners."
He skids to a halt.
"Do you need a break.?" He asks.
"Nope all good.."
He starts the bike again and I feel the sickness getting worse. My tummy is all queasy and the roads are spinning infront of me. I dig my nails into Mike and he stops again.

"Your not fine. Here." He carries my bridal style off the bike and takes me to some bushes. He holds my hair back as i.. well vomit. Not the most romantic thing.
"I'm so sorry Mike.." I finally continue.
"Don't be sorry."
"Okay let's go!"
"No no. You can't go now you've been sick. I'm gonna take you home and make you a hot chocolate and we can cuddle and watch films!"
"I feel bad for bailing on everybody. I'm fine honestly."
I suddenly feel slightly dizzy again and hold onto Mike tighter.
"No. Let's go home."
He carries me back and drags his bike along beside him. I could hear him struggling and insisted on walking but he wouldn't put me down.
We got back to his room and he tucked me in his bed and gave me lots of comics. He even offered to ride back to my house and get my favourite magazines.. but I refused. He also forced Mrs Wheeler to order kfc and gave me a burger.
"This is delicious. I'll pay you back."
"No need. This is what boyfriends do."
He snuggled in beside me and ate together for a while. Mike had already called the others to say we weren't coming.
Time flew by and before I knew it, it was 6:30.
"I need to be home in 30. I'll start going now."
"No." Mike places his hand on my thigh. "I'll call your aunt and uncle and say your sick."
"But I'm grounded."
"Billy kicked you out. I'll just say I bumped into you and you started to throw up. I'll even get my Mom on the phone so they believe there is a 'trusted adult'. Parents love hearing that shit."

I nod and Mike slides his hand from my thigh. I shiver slightly and watch him run downstairs.
We've never actually had a proper sleepover as a couple. I still feel pretty queasy so we won't do anything too crazy.. but I'm in the mood for a bit of fun.
Mike returns and gives me the nod to say it's a yes.
We both cheer and he wraps me in a warm hug.
"This is going to be the best night ever!" He yells.
"You sound like a girl!" I laugh.
He sighs and we make out for a while on his bed.
