"It's that reddish building!" He slows down and drops me on my butt. "Ow!" He sniffs deep, "I smell the human, inside." "So?" He grabs my scruff again and nudges the door open, then marches in.
Shivering, I open my eyes to the door opening. Heavy and clumsy steps come closer, unable to move, I just lay here, lower my hear in fear and shut my eyes. "Bella?!" Something drops onto the floor and a thick country accent answers me, "Damn, how is he even alive?" Bella runs up and brushes against me head first, "Are you ok?! I got swept away by the wind! And then a cow saved me and-" A giant basset hound walks around and looks into my eyes. I'm talking five feet tall! "Enough, mangy cat! Are you changed?" I snap and only a spark comes. "That explains it. Stonekin thought you were easy pray, but most humans around here have died already." I weakly speak up, "How?" "I'll tell you when you're better. Who did your stitches?" "Bella. The cat." He laughs as I stiff up at the pain so bad, my thoughts fade into a fog. "Looks like a cat's work! Sloppy." Bella meows, "Hey!" Through my daze, I cough, "I think I need a doctor." They both turn and the dog sighs, "We'll get you that doctor. Hang on, kid." I smile with squinted eyes, trying to get rid of the fog in my head, "That would be- great. Thanks."
He reaches out to me at the verge of a sleep, "Thanks Bella." I meow as Gus sighs, "Come on, Trash Bin." After making sure Gus isn't looking, I sneak in a nuzzle into his hand. Fine, I'll save you. But you better stop calling me names after this! I turn and march away, flicking my tail.

"So, Trash Bin-" I hiss, "You'll get to meet Marigold's protector." He grabs my scruff, I growl as he hops through the snow. Not much happened but the sounds of wind blowing, but suddenly, we come upon a house. He drops me and I meow, "Can you not carry me like that!?" "I don't want a trash bin in my mouth, consider yourself lucky." I smirk, "When no one's looking, you'd eat garbage." He groans, "I wonder how she's doing." He puts his paws up on the door and it folds open. "Trash Bin, be careful." He stomps inside and barks, "Sherriff's Department!" An old woman in a coat peeks down the steps with a shotgun in hand. She lowers the gun, "Gus?" Gus sits, barks and starts panting. She makes her way downstairs shivering, she pets him and he's loving every second. "You got so big! " Gus shakes and barks, "We need your help, can you understand me?" She just smiles, "Aw, I've missed you too." He turns to me, "Damn it, she can't underst- Go find Marigold- no I'll get her. Wait here." He walks out and she reaches a hand out, "Awww." I sigh and scratches under my chin. "Old bat, get away!" I shake and smack her hand. She jerks her hand away and smiles, "I'll earn your love, then." Marigold moos and she opens the door, "Marigold?" Marigold moves her head around, "What's wrong girl?"
Suddenly, all the candles light up the house. The woman turns slow, "Harry?" She holds a hand out in a trance, her old leathery hands shaking from the cold. She grabs an imaginary face, "I've missed you." Wait- That man mom helped, he can make this possible? "The cat needs my help?" She shakes her head, "Oh my, I'll get my kit." The candles go out in a way to walk her upstairs. Gus nudges me, "Go on, follow her." "Why me?" He groans, "You're the one that needs her help." I shake my head and get upstairs. "Hey kitty." She puts on several coats, to the point she's round. I meow and she follows me downstairs. Marigold lies down in the snow. She moos happily, "Now I can help Martha for a change."

Depravity and Debauchery in the Southern Kingdoms
In a fantasy world of peace and prosperity, the elves decide the world is too diverse and create terrible weapons of mass destruction to corrupt the other races and maintain their superiority. Centuries later, they have completed their designs, but they didn't account for the everlasting influence of corruption, as it now creeps into their lands. This is the story of what men with no morals and nothing to lose set free upon the world after excessive consumption of both natural and unnatural substances. Corruption, vice and perversion haunt our protagonist. Will one writer fight against the terrible evil and obscenity, or will he fall to the depravity and debauchery of the southern Kingdoms? This story is about a bunch of terrible characters doing a bunch of terrible things. It will not be long, but I hope is an entertaining read!

Gaming on a MUD is difficult.
This is a story based on my characters background and journal that I played on a mud (Multi User Dungeon) over the course of several years. Dozens of people play a text based command line game at the same time. I figured I'd try to turn in into a story to see if anyone found it interesting. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. This is my first time so not very experienced. It is a story about how going into a multi player game expecting a typical RPG experience turns into something else because other players are involved.
