《Wasn't looking for love till I found you.》3| Living room and kitchen

I groaned as I massaged my eyes with my palms.

′′What was that?′′ I whispered to myself.

"The scene in which you look ravishingly gorgeous, the one in which you appear to get me mad, the scene in which I want to play with your pussy.''

His words rang wordlessly in my head, turning me bright crimson. I really need to keep my distance from him. He's bad for my health.

Health?

Really Ella?

I groaned and buried my face in the pillow. Oh lord, Jake is going to murder Sebastian if he finds out that he touched me. Okay, I'm hyperventilating, and Jake won't know unless Seb or I tell him.

Seb isn't going to tell him, is he?

What if he regrets it, as he does, and attempts to mend fences between him and Jake?

Okay, Ella, cool down, you're overthinking this. Nothing will happen, I am certain of it.

''Argh!'' I cursed one more time before getting out of bed and changing into my pink pajamas.

I hadn't even been here 5 hours and I was already a nervous wreck!

I opened my door and walked outside.

Will things be strange between us?

I sincerely hope not. I simply hope we can forget whatever the hell happened. I entered the living room on tiptoe, like a burglar. I crept into the living room, standing beside the wall, my body was hidden. Why did it feel like I was doing something illegal?

Maybe because-

"What are you doing?" said an amused voice behind me, causing me to yelp.

''Argh! What exactly is your problem?! You scared me!" I retorted with a sneer.

"Really?" he snorted, his lips curled in a sinister smirk,

"Really?" he snorted, his lips curled in a sinister smirk,

"Were you stalking me?" he said smugly, much to my chagrin.

"Excuse me?" I said, my nose scrunched. Despite the fact that I was kind of following him—NO,

Ella, you didn't—you were just trying to see if he's inside or not. That's not STALKING.

Okay, I wasn't stalking HIM. I, Arabella Oliver Brown, would never stalk the man in front of me, no matter how attractive he is. No matter how appetizing his abs appear- OKAY STOP!

What's the matter with me?! Why am I acting like a freaking teenager?

Take a deep breath.

"I'd take it as a yes," he answered, smirking. What was it he said?

Why am I zoning out again?

"Uhm, what did you say?" I asked, my brow furrowed.

"I asked you whether you were dreaming about me, and when you didn't respond, I took it as a yes that you were." With a smug smile, he emphasized.

''Get down off your high horses, will you?'' I snorted and added, ''I was thinking about how to slay that big head of yours''

"It's not that simple, princess." I disregarded his endearment once again as he sent me a phony smile.

"So why were you peering inside the living room like a thief?" he questioned, his voice amused.

"I thought I saw a cockroach flying inside, and I was trying to check if it was inside or not," I lied blatantly.

''Really? Because, as far as I recall, I had the pest crew come and spray pesticides in all of the households last week." He answered amusedly, biting his lower lip and trying not to chuckle.

And here I thought I was skilled at deception.

"I spotted a cockroach, that's all! Why would I lie?" I huffed like a baby.

"I'm not sure," he shrugged, still amused.

Were we going to discuss what happened just a few minutes ago?

''Arabella'' Shivers raced down my spine as his rich, seductive voice called out my name. I raised my head to meet his ocean blue eyes, which peered back at me intently.

"Do you want to talk about what happened in your room?" He inquired solemnly, his gaze fixed on me.

"Sure, what do you want to talk about?" I replied, standing up like the young mature girl I am. I'm sure anything he says will be something along the lines of, 'Oh, I'm sorry I shouldn't have made a move on my best friend's sister, can we forget what happened?'

And I have had enough guy drama to last a lifetime.

So I decided to just state the obvious before he says anything that would make me detest him even more if that's even possible.

"You know what, that's OK, we can forget about it." I'm not going to mention anything to Jake, and we can carry on as if nothing happened," I declared confidently.

For a split second, an unfamiliar expression emerged on his face, but it vanished when he covered it with a blank stare.

"Sure, it wasn't anything remarkable." He answered with a shrug and walked into the living room.

He's so aggravating!

Okay, Ella, calm down. It certainly wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

I shook my head and proceeded to the kitchen.

He isn't worth it.

He isn't worth it.

He isn't worth it.

I continued chanting in my head while opening and closing the empty drawers.

"You realize that frequently opening and shutting the empty drawers won't magically fill them, right?" Behind me, the same annoying deep masculine voice inquired.

I turned back with a frown on my face, only to be met by his charming smirk.

Not charming.

"How come all the drawers are empty? Do you go starving?" I asked, scowling at him.

"No, it's generally Jake who does the grocery shopping and cooking. So, when he left, I just ordered pizzas." He responded.

"That's really unhealthy," I grumbled. Not that I wouldn't prefer pizza to anything else for dinner.

''Well-'' He started, but stopped when the doorbell rang. My phone began to ring in my room as well.

Sebastian made his way to the door, while I raced to my room. My phone's strident ring stopped the minute I leaped on the bed to take the call. Muttering a whole slew of curses, I took my phone and walked out of the room

I started walking towards the kitchen but came to a halt when I heard gigglings coming from the living room.

Curiosity killed the cat. Among the countless proverbs, though, that was one I never followed. The moment I entered the living room, I wish I never had.

Kissing the daylights of each other were Sebastian and another girl on top of him on the couch. He was groping her ass while she was moaning.

My virgin eyes.

''Oh Lord, I need some holy water'' I shrieked and left the room, but much to my dismay I heard the girl squeal and Sebastian chuckle.

''You didn't see anything''

''You didn't see anything''

''You didn't see anything''

I kept chanting that in my mind. Oh Lord, how much I want to erase that scene from my memory!

I wondered if that's his girlfriend, but maybe not because guys like him prefer bachelorhood and girls other than a relationship.

"I'm going to order pizza; which flavor do you prefer?" Sebastian inquired, walking into the kitchen with a phone in his hand.

"Barbeque," I answered, my cheeks blushing slightly in embarrassment.

At least, he was considerate enough to inquire about my preference.

''I am sorry, I didn't intend to invade your privacy'' I apologized though I didn't need to as they were doing it in an open area, still, maybe in their ecstasy they, no HE might have forgotten that he had a roommate now.

''It's alright'' He said, shrugged.

My phone began to ring again, and this time it was a video call. I accepted it with a bright smile on my face.

''Ah!! Ellss'' My little brother Theo bemoaned, causing me to giggle quietly. For a seventeen-year-old, he surely still acted like a baby in front of us.

"When I left, a little gentleman was so thrilled that he didn't even grieve. What was that all about? Oh, he'll be alone and live his greatest life, and it's only been a day, Theo." I laughed as I taunted him.

''There is no chocolate pudding in the dessert'' He grumbled,

''I stocked some in the fridge, you can check'' I told him and his face lit up like a child on Christmas.

"Did you travel safely, Ells?" he asked, his demeanor turned serious, causing me to roll my eyes.

These young men and their testosterone.

"Yes, I did, baby brother!" I chirped, a phony smile on my face.

"I am not a baby," he grumbled.

''Oh, you sure are a baby'' Mum teased and took the phone from him, ruffling his head.

''Mum, stop doing that!'' he groaned, making me laugh.

''Did my princess have any problem traveling?'' Mum asked, softly smiling at me.

''No Mum. How is everything there?'' I asked softly.

''It's weird without you and quieter without you and Theo running and smacking each other'' she replied with a small laugh, making me smile.

''Yeah, I know, I kinda miss that buffoon too'' I told her with a laugh, and laughed harder when I heard his faint shout,

''I am not a buffoon!!!''

I looked up, shaking my head, only to be met with a set of ocean blue eyes looking at me with a veiled expression and his brows knitted.

Oh, I assumed he'd already left.

"Mum, I'll call you back, all right?" I told her quietly.

"Sure, darling, be careful, we love you!

"I love you."

With that, we hung up the call.
