No texts. No calls. No letters. But what was I to expect? I only actually got closer with her for 3 days.

I sorted through some papers and typed some grades up into the campus. I became a college professor for Fine and Applied Arts in Figure Drawing, after realizing, coffee wasn't really my calling. I had already been through some school and gotten a degree, so all I had to do was do some review and I officially had a teacher's permit.
"Looks like Cassie will be failing this semester." I muttered, shaking my head as I entered in her grade.
"Hey Zaynie boy!" I smiled as I saw Niall approach my desk.
"What are you here for, Niall?" I gestured around to my classroom and he shrugged.
"Maybe I want a private lesson." He winked playfully and I rolled my eyes. "Anyways, the real reason I'm here is because I have a surprise for ya." I raised an eyebrow.
"And what's that?"
"I got you a date!" I sighed and shook my head.
"No, Niall. How many times-"
"Please! She's a really nice and pretty girl. I showed her a pic and a couple videos of you and she said she'd like to go on a date with you!" Niall knelt down on one knee and stuck his bottom lip out.
"Pwease? I'm begging ya." I sighed and nodded.
"If it'll get you off my case for awhile." Niall immediately beamed.
"Come on in!" Niall yelled at the doorway. Moments later a girl walked in.

"Hey, Zayn." But it wasn't just any girl. It was the girl. My old favorite customer.
"Ariana?" She smiled and nodded.
"C'mon, what happened to Ari?" She teased walking over to my desk and held her arms out. I stood up and cupped her face in my hands.
"Are you real?" She nodded and smiled.
"100%, Malik. Or should I say Mr.Malik?" She gave a pointed look to my name on the wall.
"Yeah...became an art teacher." She grinned at me and shook her head.
"Just kiss me." I smiled lightly at the gorgeous girl infront of me.
"I thought you'd never ask."

Untrustworthy characters (everyone in the story lies, even me, so don't trust everything you read... but at the same time, trust everything you read) 4. Goodish grammar (not gonna say mine's the best, but it's readable in most cases) 5. Plot! (Everywhere!) 6. worldbuilding? (Should be there somewhere, but I probably won't do blatant info dumps... probably) 7. Character development? (Its there... at some point...) 8. The story gets dark at some points (if you don't like characters dying, then this might not be your cup of tea) 9. A strong main character? (She'll be strong, yes. However, her enemies are also strong. If everyone is strong, then is she no longer strong? My brain hurts) 10. Wow, this list is going on for awhile... uh, Believable and reasonable Action? (I mean, I'm writing for mainly my fun, so if I want a fight scene, then I might craft a scenario to explain it... or I might suddenly throw in a Dragon and call it a day) This story also goes by the same name over on Webnovel.com, but I'm going to be updating it here because, well I want to. They are both by me, and created by me. If there's anything that seems like a copy of another work, then that's just the genre being saturated by everything under the sun.
