And I hate how we haven't talked at all

Since it all went down.

It'll be your birthday soon,

And I spend my days thinking of

How to talk to you

Without being ignored.

I hate how out of our old friend group,

I'm the only one who you never speak to,

And how you quickly look the other way

When our eyes lock for brief moments.

I know that if we got back together

We'd just end it all again.

So I don't want back what we had,

But I just wish it didn't

All come back to me

In flashbacks of memories

And thoughts of all the
