The world ended, and magic came back. The part our parents didn't expect, was for Science to break on reentry. Twenty years after the apocalypse, with our nations dismantled and hidden continents unearthed, a new generation has grown up in the wreckage of 21st century civilization. Meanwhile, the laws of nature bend and break at the whims of immortal gods, all of which are now dead and none of which are content to stay that way. But we cannot afford to give up. We are the stewards of a rewritten century, in which a little luck and a whole lot of magic might make anything possible – maybe even a world better than the one we lost. A Standard Model of Magic is a complete overhaul of my old story A Storm in the Fall. I'm afraid I was unhappy with the LitRPG elements, which I don't mind reading, but I apparently loath writing. Sorry. Once I'd made the choice to decouple the story from the OF that inspired it and reconfigure the magic system to my satisfaction, little of the original plotline survived. I will be salvaging most of my original characters, and I will keep some elements which are endemic to the genre, but that is all. I don't have an update schedule which I can commit to yet, but I will try to maintain a weekly pace.(This is currently RoyalRoad exclusive, since I'm lazy. Zoomchard: The Battle of Dominance(Cancelled)
The planet "Metalet" was wrecked by an episode of a destructive war that is still ongoing and had its 1000th anniversary. It was a war of dominance that got out of hand and became a struggling battle for life as many nations with the appearance of a humanoid robot divided by the colour of their eyes join aside the two nations that began this endless war; Green-eyed robots named Province of Conaire and yellow-eyed robots named The Tretse Federation. On the other hand, a fearless shopkeeper named Zoomchard had an average life, besides the fact that he was born with "The Unchosen Illness." An illness where the melanin coding failed and gave the eyes an appearance of a grey colour. It was a rare illness that only affected the 1% quadrillionth inhabitant planet. The illness never stopped him from living a normal lonely life with only one friend that saved him from the death of his parents that were bombed in their home city while Zoomchard explored the southern borders of Conaire. Zoomchard one day had contact with a friend who is a medic and both were excited to see each other again, but that never lasted like three days after the reunion party - Zoomchard's friend's home city was bombed and they went missing. This affected Zoomcharrd and it changed his mindset entirely, he went from a peaceful guy that hated the idea of revenge because it will ruin his mind to a guy that needed the most revenge he can grab hold of. So he was recruited for The Conaire Army and had his first-ever mission, the mission to save all the soldiers imprisoned behind enemy lines. This is a journey of a Rookie Soldier exploring the war while searching for a way to revenge his family and locate his missing friend.

Anime World?
In this era, anime has spread to the entire world; people are indulging themselves in anime so much that they’re calling themselves as ‘Otaku’. They’re going to conference and events that’s related to anime. Some people quit their social life and choose to indulge themselves in figurines, manga, light novel and animes. Some of them are teens that are been bullied or has the same circumstance, some of them just choose to be a ‘Hikikomori’ (People who withdraw their social life) just because they wanted to. But one day, one after another, people who called themselves ‘Otaku’ starts to disappeared. Their relatives are confused since they never see the person leave the house so it’s still a mystery on why they suddenly went missing. That strange phenomena continued until it finally takes it final victim, Carlo Delacruz suddenly disappeared. When the people around him got interviewed by the reporters, they said something like “That guy is a thirty years old virgin who has no family left beside him” or “I always so that guy loitering around the park meeting with his nerd friends, maybe they’re the one that took him” But none of them surely knows what happened to Carlo and the other person that went missing, but there’s a fact that only a little of people knows, and in fact all of them are the ones whom went missing. All of them, all of the ‘Otakus’ that went missing knows this. The fact that all of them are transported into a another world. But not just any other world, they have been teleported to an Anime World.
