Stumbling over my own feet,

but trying not to make it obvious.

I slowly make my way to my doom,

as it gets closer,

I shrink further into myself, trying to disappear.

One shaky breathe,

two shaky breathes,

one nervous tic,

and then another,

as I try to stop my heart from racing.

But shouldn't I be afraid of myself also,

no because I don't want what I have.
