《Sundown ⚣ 「k.th + p.jm」》Twenty-Two

I open my eyes, furrowing my eyebrows as I realize I'm in a different room.

I lift my arm to rub my eyes when I feel it tug on something. I groan and look down, realizing that it's bound to the bed I'm laying on.

I look around, my eyes adjusting to the dark. The room looks pretty empty.

Suddenly, the door swings open, letting light into the room.

My eyes snap shut as the light burns into them and I wait a few minutes, letting them adjust slowly.

I turn my attention towards the figure standing in the doorway and make it out to be Jimin's mother.

She walks closer towards the bed and I ball my hands into fists.

"Do you know what today is?" She asks, moving her face closer to my face.

I force my head back as far as it can go, burying it into the pillow my head is on top of. I shake my head.

"Use words!" She yells.

"N-no," I say, stuttering due to the amount of pain my throat is in.

She pulls her head back and lets out a nasty laugh.

"Of course you don't!" she says, staring me in the eyes. "Today is the day my beloved son gets married to a wonderful girl," She says. "And you get to watch,"

I stay silent, letting what she just said sink in.

He's getting married.

And not to me.

She starts to undo the rope around my wrists and ankles, knowing that I don't have the strength to fight back or run away.

I sigh and relax into the bed until she yanks me by the arm into a sitting position.

I shiver as cold air hits my skin, making me realize that I'm shirtless right now.

"Now lets have some fun before you have to get ready, shall we?" She says, smirking evilly.

I groan and try to move away from her grasp as she pulls out a pocket knife.

She opens the blade and grabs my arm, examining it.

"now, we can't ruin anywhere that's going to be seen," She says. "We can't have anyone know what happened to you,"

With that she drops my arm and grabs my shoulder, pulling my body closer to hers.

She twists my body and I wince as my back now faces her.

I let my head drop as I wait for her to do something.

Suddenly, I feel the blade pierce my skin and I yell as I feel a warm substance run down my back.

I feel her stand the knife into my back, not too deep but deep enough to leave a scar and I yell out again.

"Be quiet!" She yells, before quietly adding, "We don't want anyone suspecting anything, do we?"

Nothing happens for a few seconds until she pulls the knife out and makes another cut in back back harshly.

"Answer me!" She yells.

"N-no... we don't" I say, my voice raspy.

"Good boy," She says and I can feel her smirking.

It goes on like this for a while, me trying not to scream as she slices the knife through my skin.

After what seems like hours, she stops and turns me back around harshly.

"Now, stay here," She explains. "Somebody is going to come here and clean you up. Then you can change into your outfit,"

I stare her in the eyes and she gives me a sinister smile.

"The wedding is happening very soon, I'll be back to fetch you in a little bit," She says, getting up and making her way out of the room. "Be ready,"

After that she slams the door shut behind her and the room if left in darkness once again.

I let my head drop as I feel the blood drip down my back, making the white bed sheets red.

A few minutes later, the door opens again, revealing Baekhyun.

I sigh in relief as he rushes towards me with water, a cloth and bandages.

He sits on the bed as he cleans my back. I wince as he rubs the cuts with the rough cloth, it tearing more of my skin away.

Soon he finishes and stands up again.

"I'll be right back, I have to go get your suit," Baekhyun explains before leaving the room in complete darkness again.

Minutes later the door opens again and Baekhyun emerges with a suit, wearing a matching one of his own.

He helps me get changed into the suit since I'm too weak to do it alone.

Another figure shows up at the door, unnoticed.

"Times up!" A female voice yells, starling both Baekhyun and I.

We turn to see Jimin's mother in the doorway.

"Now, you two. Come on," She says, clapping her hands twice.

We follow her out of the room and down a long hallway until we reach and open outdoor area.

I look around, noticing the seating and decorations.

"You two will be sitting at the front with my husband and I," She says, walking us towards the front of the seating.

The area is empty as we sit down, waiting for more guests to arrive.

I look around as people show up, trying to find my friends but none of them are seen.

I frown as I realize that Jimin's mother probably wouldn't allow them to come anyway since they're 'bad'.

The seating area is completely full and everyone is standing in their positions already and we wait a few minutes for the groom to arrive. I look over at Jimin's mother and see her tapping her foot impatiently, clearly annoyed that her son isn't here yet.

Suddenly, a boy is seen running towards the front.

He pants as he stands next to the best man and he looks up, letting me see his face.

I quickly recognize it as Jimin and I feel my heart sink.

He scans the crowd before looking in my direction, locking eye contact with me.

Music starts playing, making everyone's attention move to the back and that's the moment that I realized Jimin wont be mine anymore.
