After their classes, Chaeyoung and Mina decided to walk home together. While walking, Chaeyoung can feel the tension.
"Should I ask her whom she likes?" Chaeyoung thought.
"No, Chaeng. No. This isn't the right timing." Chaeyoung added.
Few seconds of silence was broken by Mina.
"Can I ask you something?" Mina said as she moved closer to Chaeyoung, who's still stuck with her deep thoughts.
"Ah— yes of course, unnie." Chaeyoung replied, she let out a small giggle.
"Do you like someone?" Mina asked.
"AHH SHH— Is she a mind reader or what? No way. Maybe it's just a coincidence thinking about the same... exact... question..." Chaeyoung thought.
Mina on the other side, is still patient with the younger's answer.
"Hmm?" Mina hummed, making the younger to even more flustered.
"What to do?! I can't obviously say her name! Just deny it! Dang!" Chaeyoung thought.
"Ahh— I t-think I don't like someone in particular n-now, unnie." Chaeyoung answered.
"Ohh, is that so?" Mina replied, she faced the other side and smiled.
"How 'bout you? Do you like someone?" Chaeyoung asked as she rubbed her nape in embarrassment.
"Oh me? I'm still waiting for their answer." Mina answered and smiled.
"What? waiting for someone?! Is she being courted by someone? Or want to court someone?!" Chaeyoung thought again.
"Why?" Mina asked with a slight smile on her face.
"You're so quiet today... I wonder why..." Mina added.
"Ah— eh— I'm really quiet..." Chaeyoung replied then gulped in nervousness.
"Ya know, quiet peoples have the loudest minds?" Mina said with a smirk.
"Really though? that's... awesome... I guess..." Chaeyoung replied.
After minutes of walking, Chaeyoung reached her dorm already.
"Unnie, uhh this is my dorm... I uhh— have to say bye for now." Chaeyoung said.

"Woah, this place looks kinda nice, not too far from me actually." Mina replied.
"Woah, does this means I can stalk her! yes!" Chaeyoung thought.
Mina suddenly choked on her saliva.
"Ow— are you fine?" Chaeyoung suddenly rushed and put her arms around the older's back.
"I-I'm fine. your arms?" Mina replied.
"Ow sh— sorry! I really didn't mean to do that!" Chaeyoung quickly removed her arms and stand like centimeters away from Mina.
"It's fine. you should've tighten it up next time." Mina accidentally said.
"Wha—"
"Nothing! Haha, I'll go now, Chaeyoung-ah." Mina said as she pat the younger's shoulders.
"Bye, Mina-unnie." Chaeyoung said.
Mina stepped and leaned closer to the younger's ears.
"Drop the formalities, Chaeng." Mina whispered then looked straight into the younger's eyes, she can see how Chaeyoung's pupils dilute after making an eye contact with her.
"That's all, I'll go now!" Mina said then walked away, leaving the younger frozen.
While walking, Mina can't stop laughing and smiling crazily.
"I had too much today!" Mina said, luckily no one's around or they'll think that she's going crazy.
"This smol bean doesn't know that I can read minds, how cute. Thank God for this ability." Mina added.
She can't stop replaying the awkwardness between them earlier.
"AHHH! Son Chaeyoung, you're driving me crazy!" Mina said as she ruffled her hair and smile again.
Chaeyoung, on the other hand, wishes that Mina could've peck her cheeks instead.

Protagonist has a personality heavily inspired by Ron Swanson. Know who that is and love him? You should like Clay. Know who Ron Swanson is and hate him? You'll probably hate Clay. Planning on writing every single day (turn). Days with important things happening will have the system/game mechanics be the priority of the chapter. Days where there isn't really anything important happening will be more slice-of-life and focused on character interactions. Designed a dice-based randomized map generator to create the world as the story goes on, so I don't even know myself exactly what's going to happen as a lot is dependent on world generation. Tech tree with hundreds of technologies already designed. There is a "harem," but it's not the main focus, the girls won't be cardboard cutouts, and I'm not going to completely forget about any previous women in the relationship whenever a new one comes along. One last thing. The "game" starts off with primitive technology level. The current plan is for the "endgame" tech level to be equivilent to WW2-era technology. After that and war just gets boring until you end up in space. Cover is temporary and made from royalty-free stock images while waiting for the real cover's commission to finish.
