I walk over to Taehyung and we start walking to Namjoon's house. We planned on meeting up there after school to talk about the call Taehyung got last night.
I look up at Taehyung and notice him spacing out, he seems really bothered by what's happening. I grab his hand and squeeze it slightly. He looks down at me and I give him a small smile.
He smiles back and lets go of my hand to open the door. I step inside the familiar place and Taehyung follows me into the living room where we hear voices.
We enter the room and sit down on an empty couch. The room goes quiet and I look up, everyone is already here.
"Taehyung got a call last night from his father," Namjoon says, breaking the silence. "He has Jungkook,"
"What?" Hoseok says, shocked. Everyone else gasps. "Why would your father have Jungkook?"
I grab ahold of Taehyung's hand again and he bites the inside of his cheek. Namjoon, Jungkook, and I are the only ones who know about Tae's father.
"My dad isn't a good man," Taehyung says. Jin, Hoseok, and Yoongi look confused. Jin looks at Namjoon with a questioning look before looking back at Taehyung. " He... He used to abuse me when I was younger. And I never told you the real reason why I lived with Jungkook..." Taehyung pauses. "He killed my mother,"
"Nobody hurts my babies," Jin says angrily, standing up. "I'm going to go kill that bit-"
"No, you're not," Namjoon cuts Jin off, pulling him back down. "You don't know how dangerous he is,"
"He called me last night, telling me that he has Jungkook," He pauses and looks at me before continuing. "He said he won't let Jungkook go unless I replace him. He said he was going to kill him if he couldn't kill me,"

"What?" I blurt. He never told me that part, he only told me that his father has Jungkook and that they made a deal. "Are you really going to let him kill you?"
"Of course not," Namjoon says before Taehyung can speak. "That's why we need to come up with a plan,"
"What kind of plan?" Yoongi asks, sitting up from where he was previously laying.
"You're meeting up with your father this weekend right?" Namjoon asks, turning to me.
"Yeah," Tae nods.
"We can't all go and barge in, He'll probably have some backup with him," Namjoon says.
"We could split into teams," Hoseok suggests.
"What if Taehyung went in there first until his father let Jungkook go and then we send a team in there to rescue him. I can stay outside to treat Jungkooks injuries when he comes out," Jin says. Taehyung thinks for a minute.
"I think that might work," He says, turning to me. "Do you know how to fight?"
"Not really," I say shyly. I was never someone who liked violence so the thought of fighting was pointless to me. But if I have to fight for Taehyung then I'll do it.
"Yoongi, Hoseok," Taehyung says, switching his attention from on me to them. They look at him. "Do you think you could teach him before Saturday?"
"Of course!" Hoseok says, looking over at Yoongi who nods. Taehyung turns to me again.
"Hoseok and Yoongi are the best fighters here," He explains.
"So are you guys street fighters now or something?" I ask. "How come you all know how to fight?"
"Most of us have Taekwondo before, that's how Yoongi, Hoseok, Namjoon and I met. Jin doesn't need to fight because he's our medic and Jungkook normally assists Jin," Taehyung says, getting rid of my confusion.
"Okay," I say. "So they'll teach me some stuff that'll help me?"
"Yup," Tae nods.
"Okay," I say.
"Alright, so it's settled. We'll split into groups and get Jungkook that way," Namjoon says. Everyone agrees and the meeting is concluded.

Human in a Demon's Hide
I had recently enrolled in the military as a lowly footsoldier. Oh, before you could proceed any further, let me tell you about myself. I ain’t some patriotic soldier that’ll lay down my life for the sake of my country. Hell no! That shit is for the people with loose screws! I had only a few goals when I joined the army: March into battle, kick ass, and earn me some cash! Achieving glory on the way wouldn’t hurt. I just need the money to feed my little brother and sister. Their world is all I want to protect. The glory is for washing clean the stains that my father left on the family name. We became such a joke in the country that our mother abandoned us. I don’t know if he really did betray the country, but I don’t care. For my little siblings to suffer the same mockery and humiliation that I did is unacceptable! To protect the smiles of my only family, I would do anything. Yet, life knows to shit on you when things are just getting good. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, author-san here! This is my first story, set up in a fantasy world. It's based on the medieval and steam era where magic is rare and alchemy is used widely used as a weapon by people. There would be lots of action, adventure, betrayal, tragedy, romance, etc. ahead. Warnings-The mc is a bit mean and foul-mouthed, introvert. There would be strong language and lots of monologue narration by the MC. The stories are fast-paced and progressing faster. The chapters update would be unstable, depending on my daily life. You would get fast updates... or slow. Also, English isn't my first language. So don't expect perfect grammar :( P.S. - I would like some constructive critique and feedback! It fills my motivation gauge and increases that rate of chapter/week. (/>3

Destinatus
Volume 1: Follows the story of an amnesiac named Gratus whose narrative reflects the fragmentation in his mind. His journey to restore his memories pits him against monsters and questionable allies that seem to want him dead. Volume 2: Prequel to volume 1 that follows Cogito's narrative, a rising star that is tied to a family legacy he cannot escape. Connects the fragments in volume 1 and expands on the world of Dominia. **Author’s Note: Cover Art and Synopsis is subject to change. I just wanted to post my story here to get feedback and improve it, so it’s okay to be brutally honest! What I am posting is a rough draft so I don't mind rewritting whole chapters and segments of stories as long as it doesn't make the story worse haha. **Author’s Note: LitRPG elements begins in Volume 2, same with potentially traumatising content.

Miracle Angeliva
Spirits, or what people usually referred to as ghosts, are something that has always been with us since ancient times. Some people are gifted to see them. However, most of us can’t see them without training. And without seeing them, we won’t believe. People only believe what they see, after all. However, I assure you, spirits are real. Spirits are always there. Just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean they are not real. Just like people of ancient ages who can’t see bacteria or those who can’t see stars further than eyes can see, there are limits to our technology. Similarly, even though the current technology can’t prove the existence of supernatural beings, that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. In the future, if we can develop technology so everyone can see them just like how a microscope helps us seeing micro beings, I believe everyone will believe it too. That being said, I still can’t prove their existence yet. -Raleigh Von Vlad Update daily (if possible, if not, guaranteed chapters are on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) Thanks to gej302 for the fantastic cover!

Dhanurana
Out of an unnaturally quiet night, a bedraggled woman in noble finery requests access to the southern capital. Who she is has been lost to time for most, but her continued existence will throw everything further out of balance. Janurana had barely survived her royal house's destruction at the hands of foreign invaders, surviving day by day in the scattered pocket forests and arid shrub lands, constantly escaping the ghosts of her past. The south has barely survived their recent Pyrrhic victory against the north immediately followed by a coup. The north is bloodied but unbowed, on the brink of civil war, but still ready to take up arms against the southern invaders. The leaders of the south cannot afford another obstacle. And Janurana is just that. Yet her chance meeting with a woman expelled from the warrior class named Dhanur gives them both a chance to avenge the ones they loved, finish what they failed to do, and return to a normal life. *** Set in a fantasized bronze age India featuring LGBT female leads. Told in an omniscient pov with glances into multiple characters. This is my first book even if I've been working on it for a while but I hope you can all still find some enjoyment and take a break from everything happening in the world. Remember to work on your dreams. :)

This project has no purpose
Summary: This is the story about the life of a "human" amidst a world that only appears to be earth at first glance. Long ago the face of this world resembled the typical tales of yore; of knights and fairies, swords and magic, however such an era has come and gone. Even the world of fantasy has progressed steadily into the modern epoch filled with the wonders of science and technology! In the ancient times a certain crisis had occured that lead to the quick decline of various magical species. Due to their low population and general incompatibility with the other races they could not crossbreed to save their numbers. Left with no other choice the major races of the world gathered together in an attempt to change the fate of this dying world. Their only hope was a special 'world-tier' magic known as 'the dusk of harmony'. The result of this magic would dissolve every race into their purest essences known as 'aspect' and instill them within the human population. The humans were the best choice as their numbers were numerous and form was similar to most races. As such, the various races of this world managed to save themselves in essence and soul only, though perhaps there was no other choice. With the various humans now carrying the weight and aspects of those who came before, life has continued onto the modern age. Yet, even amongst these hybrids 'Pures' emerge from time to time, beings who have inherited not only aspects of the ancient races, but their forms too. These Pures are often times exceptionally talented and seen as near deities. This is the story of a perculiar boy who is born with the soul of a stranger from the world known as 'Earth'. With the memories and soul of a human, he too is a rare Pure; a pure human. --- This project literally has no purpose and is being written because I felt like it. There isn't any semblance of a solid direction nor have I thought about any characters aside from the main character and a few auxiliary cast. If you would like to contribute to building this world with me then please contact me through a DM or by leaving a comment, I will be sure to credit you.
