I walk home next to Taehyung like we have been doing the past few days. I still feel bad for asking him a question like that, I didn't know it was a bad topic for him.
"I'm sorry," I say, looking up at Taehyung. Even though I'm older than him, he's still taller than me. Taehyung seems less distant right now, and less sad. "I didn't mean to ask you that question earlier. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable,"
"It's okay, it's not your fault. You didn't know," He says, glancing down at me before looking straight ahead and shrugging. "I'd rather not relive the memories, though,"
I smile slightly, happy that he's talking again. We walk in silence for the rest of the walk home. We say bye when we reach our houses.
"Welcome home Minnie," My mother says. "How was your day?"
"Hello, it was fine," I start walking upstairs to my room. "I have a lot of homework today so I'll be busy, okay?"
"Alright Min, make sure to come down for dinner. I won't bother you."
I walk into my room and close the door behind me. I throw my bag onto the floor and flop down on the bed. I lay down and close my eyes, tired from today.
I think about Taehyung. I really want to make him happier than he is, I don't like seeing him sad all the time.
I, Park Jimin, will find a way to make Taehyung be happy and smile again.
Time skip -
Jimin walks with Taehyung to school, trying to make him smile. Taehyung snaps at Jimin, yelling at him to leave him alone. Jimin notices that Taehyung is skipping most of his classes and goes to look for him. Jimin finds Tae on the roof crying.

"Hey, Taehyung!" I say, sitting down in my seat next to him. I woke up late and couldn't walk with him to school today. I barely made it before the bell rang.
"Can you leave me alone?" He mutters, laying his head down in his arms on the table. I frown, he seems sadder than he was yesterday. I don't like it.
"Try not to be so sad. You should smile more often, I think-"
"I told you to leave me alone," He yells not loud enough for the teacher to hear but a few students around us turn and look at us. He stares me and looks really annoyed before laying his head back down.
"I'm sorry," I whisper. I didn't mean to make him mad, that's the opposite of what I planned on doing.
I face forward and space out, not paying attention to the teacher. I rarely listen to him, I'm surprised I'm not failing.
The bell rings and Taehyung storms off before I can walk with him to the cafeteria. I shrug and walk by myself, I'll just meet him there.
I get to the cafeteria and sit down with our friends. Jin gives me a confused look.
"Taehyung didn't come with you today?" He asks.
"No," I say, feeling guilty for making taehyung get mad. "He didn't seem very happy earlier and left before I could walk with him,"
Jin nods nd everyone starts talking like normal. I space out again, wondering where Taehyung went.
I stand up, causing the boys to look at me, and put my bag on.
"I"m gonna go try to find Taehyung. I have to talk to him," I say and start walking away. "I'll see you guys later,"
I walk away and around the school. I walk into all of the bathroom and through all the hallways but I can't find Taehyung.

I come across a door that leads to the roof. This is the only place I haven't checked yet. If he isn't here than I don't know where he could be.
I open the door and walk up the stairs. I reach the door at the top of the stairs, reaching the roof. I open it quietly and hear sobs.
I walk onto the roof and towards where the sobbing is coming from. I see a boy curled up by one of the railings, crying. I walk closer and realize who it is.
"Taehyung?"

Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations. Farrien welcomed home millions of troops and warriors with the Archdukes of Aerianne and Kanaria leading them at the forefront. It was common belief that they possessed special blood blessed by the Goddess Stecia, who gifted the lineage to the first King of Farrien when he first founded the country. All were ecstatic when the current generation of the two Archduchy's, after the war, agreed to let their children wed. The excitement was short-lived however when the Aerianne Princess proved to be a dragoness among men but the Kanarian Prince was worse than even mediocre. The Prince disappeared and the wedding was shortly forgotten as society lived on. Until one day the Young Heir of Kanaria returned to Farrien a changed man, bringing demise with him. Follow the story of the Chosen ordained by the Goddess of Time as he returns to the past to right his wrongs and set things back straight again! Red Street Daybreak
August Samuel Hatch was born under an inauspicious pattern of stars. It's granted him what is widely considered the most unlucky of inconveniences: becoming host to a powerful but pernicious spirit that will act as his guide and protector--and one day end his life. Sairne is sworn to stand by August's side and, when the fancy strikes her, advise him, all in the service of atoning for a past life she can’t remember having committed a grave enough offense to earn her soul indentureship in the mortal realm. Bound by a celestial contract neither one can negotiate, their fates are all they've ever known. But in a city ruled by religious right and where magic runs deep as bedrock, their search for a missing friend leads them to a dark conspiracy that could transmute the very magic that binds them to their fates, and that might grant them the ultimate choice: do they save the city or save themselves? Cross-posted on Wattpad and Ao3. For fans of fantasy YA story beats if they starred adults instead, 1920s inspired setting, lots of banter, larger cast of characters, somewhat soft magic system.
