Taehyung has been ignoring me for the whole class period, but not just me, he's ignoring everyone. It's all my fault, I shouldn't have asked him such a personal question like that.

The bell rings for recess and Taehyung stays sitting in his seat and continues to stare at the front of the room. I stand up and shake his arm a little, causing him to glance up at me before looking back to the front of the room.

"The bell rung," I say in a small voice. He stands up and grabs his stuff. I follow him out of the classroom.

He sits down at our lunch table, still not talking to anyone. Hoseok greets us but Taehyung ignores him. Hoseok frowns for a minute before smiling again when Yoongi starts talking to him.

Jungkook seems a little off today too, he seems upset in a way and a little distant but not as much as Taehyung. I see him trying to talk to Taehyung, but Tae isn't saying anything, maybe not even listening.

I start feeling guilty, Taehyung would be talking and happy right now if I never said anything to him earlier. It's my fault for making him like this.

I stare down at the food sitting on the table in front of me, I don't have an appetite. I look over at Taehyung and Jungkook again and realize that Jungkook is staring at me. He furrows his eyebrows and stands up.

"Can I talk to you?" He whispers, leaning down to my ear. I look over at Taehyung, he doesn't seem to notice that Jungkook is gone. I nod and stand up.

The others seem too busy with their own conversations to notice us leaving, at least they won't question where we're going.

Jungkook pulls me by the lockers and frowns.

"What did you do to Taehyung. He was okay last night, not the best, but now he seems even worse. What happened?"

"I asked him a question I shouldn't have earlier and I really regret it," I say.

"What did you ask him?" Jungkook looks confused.

"I asked about his family. I didn't know he would react like that. I'm sorry," I say, feeling more guilty than before.

Jungkooks face drops and he starts to look angry. He closes his eyes to calm himself down. He opens them and puts a bitter smile on his face.

"It's okay, you didn't know," Jungkook says. "Taehyung has actually been living with my family and I since he was eleven, because of something bad that happened to his family before that. He only just recently moved out. He's pretty sensitive when it comes to talking about his family, he's had a lot of bad memories with them,"

"I still feel really bad though," I say. The bell rings and Jungkook gives me a genuine smile before patting my back and walking to his class.

I stand there for a minute before taking a deep breath. I start walking towards my classroom, thinking about what Jungkook said. How bad were Taehyung's memories of his family? What happened when he was younger?
