I follow Taehyung up to the roof.
"Why are you following me?" He stops and turns around to face me. "Didn't I tell you to leave me alone?"
"I just noticed you walking the wrong way and I wanted to see where you were going,"
"As long as you don't get us caught it's fine," He starts walking again. "Come on,"
I follow him the rest of the way to the roof and he opens the door. I follow him inside and he curses under his breath. I look to where he's looking and I see a teacher walking towards us.
He grabs my arm and pulls me back down the stairs, running away from the teacher.
"Hey!" The teacher yells and starts chasing after us.
Taehyung looks back to see how close the teacher is and runs into a different teacher, literally. He falls to the ground, pulling me down with him.
I look up and realize we ran into the principal.
"Since you guys were caught skipping, you can go clean the gym. You better finish by the end of class or you'll get a worse punishment," He says, handing us mops from a nearby janitor's closet.

"If you hadn't followed me you wouldn't have to do this," Taehyung sighs and continues mopping the floor.
"But then you'd have to clean the gym by yourself and that would take longer,"
"But you wouldn't have had to mop, so why do you care?"
I ignore his question and continue to mop.
He stops mopping and sits on the bleachers.
"What are you doing?" I turn to him. "If you help we can leave quicker,"
"I'm just resting," He smirks and shrugs, laying down.
"Hey! You have to help me. If you didn't skip I wouldn't have followed you and we wouldn't be in trouble," I yell, picking up the bucket full of soapy water and hold it above him. "If you don't help, I'll dump this on you,"

He sits up quickly and takes the bucket from me.
"Don't do that. I'll help, just hurry up,"
We finish mopping and set the cleaning equipment to the side. I walk towards the door and try to open it but fail. Taehyung comes up from behind me and laughs.
"You can't open it? Move aside, I'll do it," I move and he tries to open it but fails too.
"It's locked," I say, laughing at him. I walk towards the other set of doors across the gym and try them too. They don't open. "These ones are locked too,"
I walk back towards him and we sit on the top row of the bleachers.
"Do you have your phone?" Taehyung asks me, pulling his out.
"No, I left it in my bag in the classroom, what's wrong with yours?"
"Mine's dead. Now we can't message anyone to come get us,"
"Well, it's your fault we got stuck in here. You were the one who skipped which led to us being caught,"
"You followed me though, you could have just went to class and you'd be fine,"
"But then you would have been stuck in here alone,"
"Why do you care?" He leans back against the wall and smirks at me.
"I just do, there's not really a reason,"
"Tch, Sure," He closes his eyes.
We sit in silence for a little bit until I can feel my eyes becoming heavy. I didn't get much sleep last night so it's not a surprise that I'm tired.
I close my eyes and lean my head against the wall, slowly falling asleep. I feel a hand move my head to the side, into a more comfortable position and I fall asleep.

I walk towards the doors to the gym since I left my bag in there this morning after class. I open the door and pick up my bag that was close by. My eyes travel to a couple of people in the corner of the bleachers.
I walk towards them and realize it's Taehyung- and Jimin's with him, laying his head on Tae's shoulder. My heart burns and my eyes start to water. Why is Taehyung here with him?
I walk out of the gym, not waking them up and trying not to cry. I know I'm stupid for feeling jealous but I've liked Taehyung for several years so it hurts me to see him close with another guy.
I bump into Yoongi as I'm walking down the hallway.
"Hey," I say, getting his attention. I wait a minute, making sure my voice won't crack as I talk. I don't want him to know that I'm upset because of it. "Taehyung and Jimin are sleeping on the benchers in the gym. Can you wake them up for me? I..." I try to think of something. "Have to go do something real quick, I'm busy,"
"Sure," He nods and I smile at him before leaving.

In the ancient echoes upon it’s great boughs, Yggdrasil holds all the knowledge in existence. Indeed, all of creation swings from its immense branches and leaves. My Isekai
For those not familiar with the isekai genera, this story is about a man waking up in an unknown world. The story follows his journey and life in this world, which does not only look different on the surface, but the common norms and values of this world are very alien to the modern western mindset. How will this average western person respond to such a world, and how will it change him. For those familiar with isekai, this is a western take on a predominantly Japanese story format. It draws a lot of inspiration from Japanese isekai, but it also tries to tackle a lot of tropes that might be annoying to the western mindset. The story is not written for young boys as the story tries to take a mature take on some typical clichés and assumptions made by both the typical writer and reader of the genera.
