Chaeyoung went back to Jeongyeon's dorm after seeing Nayeon.
"Gosh, what took you so long?" Jeongyeon asked after drinking some water.
"What the fuck did I just saw." Chaeyoung said.
"What?" Jeongyeon asked.
"I bought you some soup and maybe sandwiches in case you're hungry." Chaeyoung said.
"Thanks. I'll shower for a bit, you can make some coffee if you want to." Jeongyeon said.
"I'll cook some ramen." Chaeyoung replied.
The two eat their midnight snack after Jeongyeon finished showering.
"Chaeyoung-ah you can spend the night here." Jeongyeon said.
"Thanks Jeongyeon-unnie." Chaeyoung smiled.
"Oh and by the way, I saw Nayeon-unnie." Chaeyoung said.
"Oh shit dawg, it's her fucking ghost." Jeongyeon replied.
"You're damn right." Chaeyoung said.
"She's been dead for 5 fucking years, Chaeng." Jeongyeon replied.
"Jesus, stop swearing will you? I get it, you're drunk so you better shove this sandwich inside yo dumb ass mouth, don't make me do it for ya." Chaeyoung said.
"Oh dawg, I'm sorry." Jeongyeon replied as she tried to hug the younger.
"And now you're being clingy..." Chaeyoung said.
"You're probably drunk too, that's why you saw Nayeon." Jeongyeon replied.
"But it somehow creeped me out..." Jeongyeon added.
"Finish your meal now." Chaeyoung said.
"Yeah yeah , Thank you." Jeongyeon replied then smiled at the younger.
"You look so creepy when you're smiling, unnie." Chaeyoung teased.
"Okay okay imma finish my meal so that we'll be able to sleep." Jeongyeon said.
"Just sleep on my couch, I'll sleep on the floor." Jeongyeon added.
"You might get cold, dummy." Chaeyoung replied.
"Of course I'm going to get some mattress." Jeongyeon said.
"Okay okay." Chaeyoung replied.
After eating their meals, Chaeyoung volunteered to wash the dishes while Jeongyeon's cleaning the table. The two drifted into sleep after that.

The next morning, at the office...
"Detective Myoui" Jeongyeon called.
"Yes, Officer Yoo?" Mina replied.
"Your girlfriend and I will be going to the asylum for Ms. Im's death anniversary." Jeongyeon said.
"S-sure, keep safe." Mina replied. Jeongyeon just smiled in response then went outside.
While on their way, Jeongyeon bought some flowers.
"The cell number again, Chaeyoung-ah?" Jeongyeon asked.
"Jesus, unnie. I already forgot. But I know where the cell is." Chaeyoung said. Jeongyeon nodded then followed the younger.
The two reached Nayeon's cell, it's still unoccupied until now. Jeongyeon unlocked the cell with her key and entered it.
"Why are you walking so damn slow?" Chaeyoung asked.
"Jesus Chaeng, shut up, you're scaring me!" Jeongyeon said, Chaeyoung just laughed.
Jeongyeon placed the flowers on the bed.
"Nayeon-ah, I miss you." Jeongyeon said.
"You're creeping me out, unnie." Chaeyoung suddenly said.
"I-I have to pee for a bit, I'll brb." Chaeyoung added.
"Aish, this kid." Jeongyeon said then face palmed.
While she's inside the cell, little did she know that someone's watching her.
"I don't know how I can face you again, Officer Yoo." The stranger mumbled.
To be continued...

8 67The Ancient One
The Alteric Empire was vast and powerful. Their borders reached to all coasts of the continent, and their banner swayed in the wind of every town. Their knowledge on magic was second to none, and their firm grasp of combat trained highly skilled warriors. Their enemies trembled at their approach, and their friends feasted their arrival. The Orcs, and the Dwarves, were conquered, and given equal rights as their Human Overlords. For thousands of years they reigned supreme, and peace and prosperity was abundant throughout the continent. The arrival of the Elves shattered that. Led by their so called "Great One", they invaded the empire. Elves fell in droves, hundreds, then thousands, then hundreds of thousands, but the empire lost ground. In a last attempt to defeat the Elves, the Crown Prince was sealed away, with the hope that one day he would be awoken in an time where the Elves can be stopped. Without the prince, the Elves lost less and less soldiers with each attack, until the Empire crumbled. After thousands of years of occupation, Humanity is no more. There are only elves, orcs, and dwarves, and humans have been forgotten by most. Hundreds of thousands of years later, a young elf will stumble across an ancient secret, and the Elven Empire will shake in it foundations. For the Ancient Being awakes, and he brings doom.
8 197Rage: Crisis / Consequence / ???
Its been ten years since Seth was given his powers, ten years since his town was driven mad by that very same power, and ten years since its source was shunted into his head. A species of energy beings, a people filled with regret for what their entrance onto this world caused. Regret for the deaths that town perpetuated, the devastation they brought, the blow they served to the once proud heroes of this world. Heroes Seth now hopes to join, hopes to heal and atone to for what transpired. But their wounds run deep, their ire sharp, and their acceptance thin. And to top it all off... Seth's power is run far deeper than he knows, and sees his world in a light all its own. This series is my first foray into authoring, with two parts out of at best four if the readership stands. But part three will still book end nicely otherwise. And I'm not stopping till then. It is action heavy with varied and ramping up fight scenes through out. (Book 1 is heavy / Book 2 a little lighter) It is bloody in places, mildly gory in others, and heavily gory in simulated places. Nothing truly horrifying, I think, but be warned. It has trauma. PTSD is a major part of the story, but I will never trust that I got it completely right, so your mileage may vary on how believable or impactful it is. Lastly it has language. Swearing ebbs and flows as the story progresses and attitudes harden or soften. Sometimes bleeding through into the narration... somehow.
