Reaching a restaurant he opened her door for her. As they entered a waiter quickly came and greeted him. They seemed familiar. 'So he comes here often,' she noted. He took them to a table and went back after a bow.

"Nice restaurant," she commented as her eyes roamed around. She hadn't come here before. There were not many people and the atmosphere was great. She almost felt like they were in a date and regretted for not telling him that she loves him .

Dev: "Hmm, we used to come here often,"

He responded.

Ananya :"We?"

Anu didn't know what to think of it. We as in 'he and his ex' or 'he and his friends'? She was a bit afraid to know but she had asked already.

Dev:"'Me and my friends.' Now though, it's just me and Rohit for lunch and sometimes dinner if it gets too late at part time job ."

Anu released the breath she had been holding, feeling relieved. She sighed after realizing it.

Dev asked

Dev :"Why the sigh?"

Anu :"It's you and Rohit again," she responded with a slight curve of her lips.

Seeing her meaningful eyes dev smirked. "Are you jealous?"

Ananya :"Oh, I don't know. Though I have nothing against homosexuality, I don't want you to cheat on your future wife with Rohit ,"

she deadpanned. Glad that finally they were talking without getting awkward.

Dev chuckled lightly and they started to talk casually. After filling their stomachs they exited the restaurant and got into the car. As they talked quite a lot, anu felt more comfortable now. She was surprised that devu talked more than before which was a new thing and he also laughed a lot. She almost wanted to take some photos of his laughter to look at them later personally because every time he met her he becomes serious.

When the car stopped in front of her home, she felt sad. She didn't know when they would get to spend some time like this again . Though she so much wanted to spend more time with him, thinking that he might not want it her hands moved to the seat belt to unfasten it.

Dev had already got out of the car and came around to open her door for her. As he opened it he found her fumbling with the seat belt.

Dev ;"What's the matter?"

"It's not coming off,"

She replied while trying.

Dev :"Let me see,"

Leaning in he tried to unfasten it and found it really was stuck. So after pulling it hard it came off. When he looked up he found himself a few millimeter away from her. Anu also realized the same after looking up causing her heart to skip a beat.

Two pair of eyes kept looking at each other. They could hear each other's heart beat and their breath fanned each other's face. Dev's eyes moved down and fixed on her slightly parted lips, he wanted to taste them . As if by the push of an invisible force dev closed the remaining tiny gap between them and captured them with his own.

His lips moved over hers gently but persistently. She was shocked at first, not expecting it in the least but after the end of initial shock she responded quickly. Dev is also shocked that he had done something like this but now his mind and heart is more focused on her lips. Anu was already wanting a sweet kiss, like a good night kiss after the end of a date(she considers the dinner as date because she knew it can't happen officially) . her lips were just so sweet that he found it hard to resist. Leaning more into the car he put one of his knees on the side of her seat. Pulling her into his arms he wrapped his arms around her waist tightly. As he deepened the kiss she put her arms around his neck which were over his shoulders previously and pulled him more towards her as if it wasn't enough.

The kiss was so deep that she found it hard to breath but she didn't want to stop just yet. After a while Dev stopped for a second to catch his breath before recapturing those irresistible lips again without letting her breath. He thrust his tongue into her mouth and tasted the sweet depth of it.

It wasn't that she was the best kisser because he realized it is her first time . Her kiss was like a peck and she seemed like she wasn't used to it which made him quite glad. But she still kissed him back mimicking the movements of his lips. Even so her lips were like a drug as if making him addicted.

When he couldn't go without breathing anymore he reluctantly let go and pulled back. Surprised to find himself breathless. Anu was also breathing very hard with her mouth and nose with closed eyes. After a minute her breathing became normal and she opened her eyes only to finding his eyes still looking at her lips.

She suddenly felt very hot. When her eyes met his she couldn't take his burning gaze and looked away biting her lip don't knowing what to say now . But she looked back with surprise when she found his right hand cupping her cheek and his thumb rubbing her bottom lips.

Dev : "Don't bite. It's already gotten red and swollen."

He didn't mention that he wouldn't be able to resist if she kept biting her lip.

As he continued to rub her lips he found her staring at him as if in a trance. Leaning in, he gave her a peck on her lips causing her to jolt out of it and he moved out of the car. He was feeling very hot in this cold weather. Loosening his tie he unbuttoned one of his shirt buttons.

Anu had already gotten out of the car and stood before him, glad that her legs had finally gotten the strength. The rouge in her cheeks hadn't disappeared yet. Dev watched her wetting her lips with her tongue. Dev was going to give her some explanation and apology but she said something before him.

Anu :"Thank you for coming to pick me up and for the dinner. I enjoyed it."

She smiled sincerely.

With a hint of a slight smile at the corner of his lips he nodded not knowing why she isn't talking about the kiss. Why she is not angry with him .

Anu :"So…, I'm going in,"

she said, indicating with her thumb.

As he didn't say more, she turned around and started to walk towards the door.

"anu !"

She stopped in her track upon hearing him calling her. Her heart started to race and she turned to the side, her face turning towards him.

Dev :"I hope you enjoyed the 'date' as well,"

With a raised brow he tilted his face to the side and smiled showing his teeth.

As her red face got a few shades redder she quickly turned and left containing the urge to sprint.

With a grin on his face dev went around and got into the car after her shadow disappearing from his sight. Though it lessened a little he was still feeling very hot, so he unbuttoned two more buttons of his shirt. After throwing a last glance at her door he started the engine and left.
