《I Never Wanted This! (Yandere Serial Killer x Reader)》Part 8

We ran in the opposite direction and we heard someone sobbing and another one telling her to stop. He was perfectly fine with the situation.
"Kevin, Samy", Luke said trembling like I was.
"Oh? Hello. Samy is crying like a baby just because someone died"
"Did you hear that?" she said looking in the direction we were.
"No", answered Luke. I looked behind us only to hear someone running, but I could not see them yet.
"It sounds like someone is running towards us", I said trembling even more.
"(Y/N)! Is that you?" Opal said in the distance. After thirty seconds, she was right beside me, telling the four of us how she got separated from Will, which could be dead at this point. Everyone was making plans out loud on how they were going to escape while hiding from Liam. All of those plans were stupid. We were five and he was one, we could defeat him pretty easily. I was not the only one to think that because Kevin literally said out loud my thought to everyone.
"What if he has a gun?" Samy asked. Opal face paled at her words.
"Did anyone saw him with a gun or heard a gunshot?" Kevin said. Everyone shook their heads. He continued.
"Ok, here is the plan. First, we stay in a group and find a weapon or a heavy object. Second, we go into a room and someone screams the loudest they, I recommend Opal and Samy, to lead the killer into a trap. When he opens the door, we attack him and kill him. If he finds us during the preparation, we try to take him down. Ok everyone?" I nodded, completely agreeing with his plan while Opal, Luke and Samy (who was still crying) were hesitant to his proposition.

"He is going to kill us", Samy said sobbing.
"This is our best chance to escape and leave this place"' I said in my trembling voice. After a while of convincing, Luke agreed and so did everybody else. We search for a few hours, dehydration and hunger getting almost impossible to support, without finding anything. We decided to make weapons ourselves by putting the heaviest objects we had on ourselves into jackets or any other type of clothes.
Everyone was getting mentally prepared for what was next. Murdering somebody, if we succeeded, would haunt us forever, eating away our sanity and feeding us depression. Kevin nodded at the girls, they screamed so loud that I felt like my ears would bleed. They were so scared that they did not need to fake their voice. We heard small footsteps, getting louder and louder until it reached our door.
"WHO IS THERE?" yelled Samy to the figure to the other side of the door.

Homecoming | A Chronicles of Ascension Story
When Jethen was captured by slavers, his childhood was torn from him and left shattered half a world away. When he finds himself back home decades later, by methods he does not fully understand, he finds that the life he has lived has changed him far more than he knew. In a home he no longer knows. Places and people at the same time familiar and foreign, he must decide - stay and help with his parent's business, or return to the land that remade him and the family he made there. --------- Homecoming started as just a short story to break an episode of writers block. It has since morphed well beyond that into a novel in it's own right, and may well end up with a sequel. The writing of Homecoming became a bit of a self induced challenge to improve my initial, first brush, writing quality. Each chapter was written raw, given a once over read and edit, and then posted. In this way I am forcing myself to write better from the start. I do hope you enjoy the story and will leave a comment or review, and if you see an issue, feel free to let me know as well. I know it is not nearly perfect, and it will get a full and proper edit once I am done. Never hurts to fix things along the way though. As an additional note. The story has undergone a structural rework and has been reposted in an updated structure and sequence of chapters. If you have read this story already, I invite you to do so again in this new structure.

To him it's simply an abyss, or at least he thinks it is.. He doesn't actually know what an abyss looks like. But from the sounds of it, that's as close as he's gonna get to actually knowing what he sees. That is, until he enter's King's Wrath. Welcome one and all to Damon's story as he gains his sight after entering a game in which he must work hard to stay alive and fight to keep the one thing that will let him see what all other's take for granted. I am a first time writer and if you have any tips or if you spot any mistakes please let me know, as I will endeavour to make this story as shiny and polished as possible. Happy Reading!
