Sal POV
I heard knocking on my door. I stood up and opened it. It was Larry, I invited him over. "Hey Larry, take a seat." I said. "Alright man." Larry said, walking to the couch. I sat down next to him. "So... we need to talk." I stated. "Alright, about what?" He asked. "Who did you tell about the star gazing night?" I asked. "I-... only Todd, Chug, and Maple." Larry replied. "Well someone said that Ashley and I made out! And it reached Travis!" I exclaimed. "Oh... sorry man." He said softly. "You can't keep telling people this stuff." I said strictly. "I know dude, I'm really sorry." Larry said. I sighed. "It's fine man, just, don't do it again." I demanded. Larry nodded. "Alright." He replied. "Thanks man." I said. "So, when are you gonna confess to Ash?" Larry asked. "I don't know dude. I don't really know how to tell her." I answered. "I have a great idea on what you can do to ask her to be you girlfriend." Larry said. "Really? Tell me." I demanded. "It can be like a promposal! You put on a fancy outfit, wright "Will you be my girlfriend?" And stuff on a paper, buy flowers, invite her to a romantic place, and surprise her." Larry suggested. "That's perfect." I said. "Let's get started." I continued. "Ok, first, what place do you want it to be?" Larry asked. "I want it to be at the lake at the park." I replied. "Ok then." Larry said. "Do you have a big piece of paper or a poster board or something?" I asked. "I think I have a poster board, I'll get it." Larry replied. He stood up and walked out. A few minutes later, he cane back with a poster board. "What do you want me to write on this?" Larry questioned. "Write, 'Ashley, I love you, will you be my girlfriend?' Please." I responded. "Alright. I'll write that on the board, you can pick out an outfit." Larry replied. I walked over to the closet. I looked around my closet, looking through every outfit. I finally saw a tuxedo and black pants to go with it. I took it out of my closet. "Hey Larry, look at this!" I said. I showed him my tuxedo. "Looks good man!" Larry said. "I'm done with the poster." He continued. Larry showed me the poster. It had hearts all over it. It read, "Ashley, I'm in love with you. Will you be my girlfriend?" I nodded. "You changed it up a bit, I like it." I said. "I knew you would." Larry said. "Let's get the flowers." I said as I grabbed a 50 dollar bill. "Ok, lets go." Larry said. We walked out the door and to the flower shop. "Hello, what can I get for you?" Asked an employee. Larry looked at me. "I'm looking for a bouquet of roses." I said. "Alrighty, right this way." The employee said. We followed the employee to a bunch of bouquets of roses. We picked the best one out, and paid the cashier. We went back to my house. Everything was pretty much ready. Now, all I needed to do was invite Ashley to the lake. "I'm gonna text Ashley, ok?" I said. "Alright man." Larry replied. I texted Ashley to meet the friend group at the park lake at 6:00 PM tomorrow. I was so exited. But nervous at the same time. "Your gonna do great dude." Larry stated. I nodded. "I hope so, man." I said.

-The next day-
It was 4:00. Larry, Todd, Chug, Maple, and I all went to the lake in the park. Where Ashley and I had one of the best day of our lives. We got ready for the big moment. We brought two floats for the lake. We set up a picnic table with food. We discussed what we would do. First, Larry would lead Ashley to the lake. Then, everyone else would gather around me. She would see the sign, answer, and if she says yes, everyone except us will leave and we will have a great time. Everything was ready. I got a text from Ashley saying that she is here. "She's here!" I yelled. Everyone got into place, including me. I held the sign and flowers in my hands. Larry went to get Ashley. This was my big moment.
