Despite everything my older brother went through during the few years leading up to his death, he kept his wicked personality and sense of humor. He was a very humane person, but he also struggled a lot from anxiety and alcohol abuse. He was back on his feet after such a long time when the world decided to rip him from our lives. However, his memory remains, and that is all that matters. I finally got to see a video of him and hear his voice one last time. Therefore, I thought to myself, It's time to share his memory with the world.

1. Matthew loved the outdoors. He truly was a Green Guardian. Utah was his favorite state to travel to.

2. He also had an adorable Scottish Fold cat named Edwin. He just called him "Eddie." Matthew gave his cat his own Instagram account; he loved him so much. The coroner seems to think that Eddie was with him when he died.

3. As I mentioned before, Matthew had a huge and adventurous personality.

5. These pictures are amazing! During my brother's service, a butterfly landed on my head, and it stayed there for twenty whole minutes. I felt it crawling around my head. It was a boy butterfly, too, so that means that Matthew was definitely there with me! Thank you, Matthew!
